Charming Lake House Retreat on Wind Lake. Bring your boat!

To our new and especially, repeat guests: We have had some changes to our yard. Due to a sanitary sewer project we lost several trees leading to the lake. We took the opportunity to reshape our hill to allow for easier access for yard maintenance. We took out our staircase and now have a gentler sloping path to lake. This spring we hope to add an easier stairway with handrail also. For now we will be opening up select week long reservations for July, August and September. Charming lake cottage perched atop hill overlooking beautiful

5 steps take you to the front door into well appointed kitchen with walk in pantry and coffee bar. From there, pass through to formal dining room. Dining room leads into oversized living room with plenty of seating for the whole family. Off the living room you will find cozy master bedroom with lake views. Also from the living room take the stairway to the second level where you will find 3 more bedrooms. 1 Queen, 1 full and 2 twin beds.

Home is set for 8 people. Can accommodate up to 10 with extra fee.

Wind Lake:
There are several local establishments with great food for both eat in and take out. There is even a tavern a few steps away! Boat launch is just down the road also.

If you do bring a boat, check out one of our other local lakes! Waubeesee Lake, Lake Denoon, Long Lake and Tichigan lake are all within a 10 mile radius.

Pontoon rental may available at nearby Sportsman's Pub and Grub. Call ahead for reservations!

Important details:

- Home is located in a residential area. Please be respectful of neighbors. No parties, events or excessively loud music.

- DOGS WILL BE CONSIDERED on a case by case basis. We are dog friendly but must be agreed upon PRIOR TO BOOKING. Please inquire BEFORE booking request. We will consider up to 2 SMALL TO MEDIUM, ADULT, WELL SOCIALIZED, LOW SHEDDING dogs. Dogs must be fully housed trained, are not allowed on furniture or in beds, and must be kenneled while you are away. There is a nonrefundable $25 per day for each dog. If you do travel with your dog please keep on leash at all times. If your pup likes to swim, please do not let wet or muddy dogs inside the house. Make sure they are clean and dry. Do not leave dogs in the house unattended. If you do have to leave your fur baby behind for any reason please bring a crate for him or her. Please clean up after your pup.

- There is another small cottage on the property near the road. This home is a private residence. Occupants will have access to their boat but will not use lakefront during your stay.

-FYI.. - The home does not have a dishwasher
- Fireplaces in the home are non-operational

For security purposes only, there are 3 security cameras outside the home. 2 on garage and 1 on house facing the lake. Cameras will be disabled during your stay.
