We had a great 2 night stay here. The view and location right on the lake is amazing. We loved just looking out over the beauty of the lake, kayaking in the lake, and fishing out in the boat. Overall a great stay!

This property and its owners are first-rate! I stayed there with my dog for two nights and loved watching the boats and enjoyed the cool breeze in the evenings. Everything you could want is provided in the cottage, including dog bowls for my pup! The location provides an easy drive to Frankenmuth but feels like a paradise when returning for the evening. Everything was very clean and the hosts were readily available to answer any questions or concerns.

This was an amazing place to stay on Murphy Lake. The house was spotless! Check-in was made easy with great instructions from Sherry and Mark. We will definitely keep this house on our list for a return trip!

Aug 9-13, 2026We were so pleased with our getaway to North Shore. The house was clean and beautifully appointed. The perfect spot for us and our dog, who had her first experience of Lake Life, and she loved it! Sherry and Mark are such attentive and responsive hosts.We would definitely come back!

Comfortable Bed. Two recliners in living room were nice along with the seating area overlooking the lake. Host was very responsive. We enjoyed our time on the lake.

This property is right on the water and the view is gorgeous! The kitchen is well appointed and the washing machine and dryer were very convenient. The hosts thought of everything and anything you may need.

We stayed in the middle of the week, the lake was beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was very clean with all the accommodations we needed for our stay. Sherry and Mark were available if needed. We didn't need anything, everything was provided. I had reconstructive back surgery in February and was up for a long drive getaway. This was close to home and worked perfectly. Millington for a small town had three great places to eat.

This was our second visit to this adorable and romantic cottage on beautiful Walker lake. We enjoyed using the kayaks, small boat and inflatables for the water.. The views are beautiful we barely turned on the TV. Just enjoyed the views of the lake. Sherry and Mark are wonderful hosts and easily accessible if needed.Became engaged at this romantic cottage, I’ll never forget it. Sherry Mark thank you for the memories.

This place was extremely clean, great view, had everything we needed. I love traveling south to the ocean but sometimes you can only travel close by. The personal touches, tasty arrival, and a fun surprise made this beautiful home stand out. It wasn’t just a typical rental for Memorial Day weekend it was a luxurious get away. Sherry and Mark are the best. Quiet time, beautiful fireworks over the lake, and Frankenmuth close by finished out the weekend. Most importantly being Pet Friendly! Bama B LOVED it here.

Great property! The walkway from the driveway to the cottage had a retaining wall that was really leaning towards to steps. Other than that, we had a great time considering the weather!

We purchased this "dream" cottage to be able to have a place close by to enjoy some leisure time, since we both work a lot of hours. One of my gifts is hospitality and my husband loves to fish, and we wanted to pass on that love and gift to others, so we decided to share our dream with you!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our property is so special & unique. We stayed in a VRBO many years ago, at the suggestion of a family member. We realized that staying at a real home, was more than a vacation, it was almost like we experienced living in the areas we visited! Sometimes we were just as happy enjoying the home, as we were running all over being a tourist and sightseeing! We were definitely more rested at the end of a vacation, and now anywhere we travel, we find a home to stay in. When we bought our own little cottage, we decided the place we loved visiting the most was Hawaii! So we created a little dream cottage with Hawaiian touches everywhere. The peace and feeling of complete joy we get every time we are at our little cottage, with the Aloha spirit, is a gift we wanted to share! We hope you will fall in love with it too, and that it will replenish your spirits with that true vacation you need!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The peacefulness of being able to just jump on the aqua cycle and go out on the lake early in the morning, or as the sun sets. There are so many places you can go on Murphy Lake. You can ride around the whole lake, or just go find a cove, sit quietly and watch for beavers, herons, or eagles to come by. Catch fish right from the dock, or sit by the fire or read a book on the lanai. You won't want to go anywhere, but if you do, the charming antique stores in Millington are close by, or the most desired vacation spot in Michigan, Frankenmuth, little Bavaria, with something fun happening EVERY weekend all year long!
