Siesta House

Beautiful house exceptionally meticulously well kept. Great location, walk to beach . Great amenities for the beach beautiful pool & hot tub. Mimi is an amazing host!

Heaven on earth

Our stay was fantastic! Mimi was a wonderful host to deal with. She was on site to greet us and showed us the specifics of the house, pool, hot tub. the pool and hot tub were used every day, very clean and the high light of our trip. Mimi supplied everything you could imagine for the beach. towels, chairs, umbrella and loads of beach toys if you have children. She had several bikes that were in great shape and our group of 6 that are all over 60 years of age used them often. The beach of course was beautiful and only a few blocks away. Within walking distance. We had a great time and will certainly be returning for another stay at this great vacation home. Thank You Mimi for sharing your home with us. Summertime Beach Getaway

Perfect spot for our family - we had everything we needed, including space for our family of five. I really appreciated all of the beach gear, including wagons and carts to haul it all. We had a great time!

We absolutely loved our family's stay. I would give it 11 out of 10 if I could Mimi was a fabulous hostess, very helpful if you need anything. The pictures are beautiful because the property is so beautiful. The location was amazing - so close to the beach and the village We used the bikes (assortment for all ages) daily, and we loved the kayaks. The home is comfortable, super clean.very homey. with all the amenities you could want. We will definitely stay here again when we travel this way.

Heaven in Siesta Key

Mimi was a wonderful host, and responsive to our requests. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet, we enjoyed watching the wildlife in the canal , and kayaking. The pool was great!

Great outdoor space on canal

Siesta Key House was a great place for our family of 6. Grandkids enjoyed the pool as did the adults! 10 minute walk to the beach entrance was great also. Mimi met us on arrival and explained everything!

Wonderful Vacation!!!

Mimi is such a gracious host. She really cares about her guests and was always available for any questions or needs. The home is so relaxing and inviting and the amenities are amazing ! We enjoyed kayaking in the canal behind the house and the beach is absolutely beautiful! We even were able to view manatees including a momma and baby manatee in the canal right in the backyard! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfection on Siesta Key

The photographs cannot do justice to this spacious home. We had a small family reunion here and spent our time in all the areas comfortably: joyous play in the pool, plentiful seating at the pool, shaded Adirondack chairs overlooking the canal, covered Florida room off the living room, and a spacious living room looking out to the canal. The kitchen has all the knives, utensils, appliances and dish wear we needed for cooking. We were so happy with the location. Walking to Siesta beach and a short drive to town. Loved the bicycles and the plentiful towels.

Love this house!

This is our 3rd year renting this house for our Florida visit. The house is well maintained, it is close to the beach, has a pool and Jacuzzi, has a boat dock where we can dock the boat we rent for the week, has bikes, kayaks, ping pong and a wonderful outside porch to sit and watch the rain. It is in a nice quite section and super close to the town. Highly recommend!!

Great Vacation

Mimi is a wonderful host. We loved the house and the area. Beaches and restaurants are very close beautiful and fun. The neighborhood is as very quiet and peaceful. Old Florida feel with all the old trees, I loved it. She has all the chairs and umbrellas you could need for the beach which was very convenient. We loved playing ping pong and hanging out in the pool and hot tub. I would recommend for anyone. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic Vacation Home in Perfect Siesta Keys Location

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. Owners were fabulous individuals and accommodating in every way. They helped arrange a crib in advance and even came over to fix something immediately when it broke. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Excellent location - quick walk to beach and restaurants. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Friendly neighbourhood. Was equipped with everything we needed and more (enjoyed the bikes and beach toys). Highly recommend staying here!

What’s mine is yours during your stay

It’s like visiting your friends home, “What’s mine is yours during your stay”. Homeowner was accommodating and communicative before during and after our trip to ensure all of our needs were met. Couldn’t have asked for a better home to stay in, it was extremely well equipped with everything you would need to have the best vacation possible, from the kitchen to the kayaks, bicycles and beach going supplies, it was all right there. Home is conveniently located near all siesta key has to offer. We are looking forward to coming and staying again.

Wonderfully relaxing stay

Very nice and spaceous house for a family of five, perfectly equipped with everything you need for the beach (most beautiful and only a short bike-ride away), a quick visit to the village or a lazy afternoon around the pool. Friendly contact and well organized check-in/check-out. Most people on this "island" seemed totally relaxed... We can highly recommend the Big Water Fish Market (near Stickney Point) for a casual bite of great fresh seafood as well as for perfect Key lime-pie and Meaney's Mini-Donuts shop in the village for their heavenly treats!

Great family getaway!

Mimi was a great host. She met us at the house to check in and showed us around the property. Mimi was very responsive during our stay to a couple of our requests. The location was perfect. We loved riding the bikes to the beach and into town. The kayaks were so nice to have and we used them every day. The house was spacious and had everything you could want. It was really nice to have the pool and hot tub. My favorite place to relax at the house was in the hammock with my book!

Excellent Stay in Siesta

Property is perfect for a family/friends getaway. We had an amazing time in the pool/hot tub and on the beach which is a quick walk away. We didn’t rent a car and didn’t need one as downtown is a quick walk and bikes are provided. The only rainy day we had all week was spent on the screened in porch, playing games in the garage and even volleyball in the pool. Mimi showed up at check-in and explained everything to us so there was no guessing when it came to what the house had to offer - which is everything! We really enjoyed this house and will definitely be back.

Fantastic home with all the toys

This home is amazing! Mimi has thought of every amenity you could need or want. Our family enjoyed the mornings at the beach(5 minutes) and spent the afternoon by the pool. The screened in porch was nice on rainy afternoons to play board games. The trolley stop at the top of the street was nice to hop on to head to the village. We made many memories at this home from kayaking to manatee sightings at the beach. We would recommend this home to all.

Beautiful relaxing vacation home with all the amenities

This place is awesome! All the details were thought of to make this one of the best vacations we’ve had. There are ceiling and box fans in every bedroom, everything that’s needed for a day at the beach including wagons,beach toys, bikes and coolers. The outdoor shower was so helpful for washing off before going inside. The house is clean and spacious and the pool and hot tub were so much fun. There’s even a ping pong table. Mimi was so responsive if we had any concerns. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect for Our Family!

Mimi’s house was absolutely perfect for our family beach vacation. It was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for the pool, beach, and preparing meals. It is conveniently located a short walk from Siesta Beach and a short walk to the Village. My daughter and I enjoyed quick morning bike rides for coffee and breakfast a couple of times, and the ice cream shops were a hit will all of the kids. Mimi was very responsive and took time to meet us at the house when we arrived to show us around. We felt welcomed from the moment we got there until we sadly had to leave to return home. I highly recommend staying here!

I've owned this house since 1998 and enjoy providing my guests with a house that will make their holiday a special time. I strive to provide a great vacation spot with many ammenities and great service. Holidays are a special time for ourselves and our families, so I keep this in mind and give attention to details. I continuously make improvements to the house to keep it beautiful and fun. I've lived in Sarasota since 1981. I speak English, Spanish, Un Peu De Français.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The house is very comfortable and only a few minutes walk to Siesta beach- which was ranked #1 in the USA in 2015, 2014 and 2011. The house is also on the Grand Canal- so you have waterfront and can kayak, or canoe through the canals which lead to the Inter-Coastal Waterways. Or, you can rent a boat and tie up to the dock. A private pool and extensive deck, which faces the sun all day, will make your holiday even more special.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Walk to beach- only 1.5 blocks (5 minutes). On the water- 125' on the Grand Canal- 2 kayaks provided and 1 canoe, or you can rent an boat and tie up. The canal is also fun for fishing right from the dock! The Siesta Key Village is not far- only 20 minutes walk, so you can have dinner at the local restaurants and pubs ,and maybe a Happy-Hour, and then have a nice leisure walk back home- or ride the bikes provided!
