The host was amazing, tending to every need. The location is great for hiking and fishing at the park. It’s a great house with lots of room but has some quirks. Overall a great place to stay and would recommend!

The house was in a great location and was big enough to accommodate 3 families with little ones. We were able to get snow during our visit which made everything look like a winter wonderland.

We had a wonderful stay here over Christmas with our family. The home was clean, cozy, and comfortable, making it easy for everyone to relax and spend time together. There was plenty of space for our family, and the kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. The location was peaceful and convenient, and the host was very responsive and helpful. It truly felt like a home away from home and made our family holiday stay very enjoyable. We would definitely recommend it and would be happy to stay again.

Relaxing Stay in the Pocono’s

We truly enjoyed our stay at Waterfall Chalet. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The cabin was comfortable and had all that we needed. Sitting around the fire pit in the evenings was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to others who want to relax in the Pocono’s.

Memorial Day weekend with family

This property was perfect for a long weekend with all three generations of our family. It had plenty of room, including a big yard for our two dogs to play in. It had peace and quiet which we really needed! And it was close to a state park where we were able to go hiking. Great house and great location. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed with a group of 11 friends and had a great time! Lisa and Lance were very helpful, responsive, and respectful. The property is absolutely beautiful, with great outdoor areas to hang out and for activities. We really enjoyed the cornhole and badminton sets, great indoor spaces for board games, and plenty to do in the area. My only complaint was that a couple of the bathrooms needed to be cleaned better, but the whole group had a great experience!

Amazing isolated hang out

This place was a fantastic get away for our group of 12 to relax, unwind, play yard games, play guitars, and have a few bonfire trivia nights! The house itself was also perfectly large to accommodate 12 people, especially when our group wanted to split into a few smaller groups to do different activities. I would highly recommend this place for any group looking to find some isolation, while still being close to anything and everything you might want to do!

Bachelor Party

We recently rented this house for a friends bachelor party and it was perfect. Lisa and Lance are very responsive hosts and made sure to reach out before the trip to offer guidance on things to do, etc. in the area. The house is huge with plenty of space for a group of guys to relax. The pool table and fire pit were great. The driveway provides plenty of space for all the cars and the property is secluded enough where we didnt have to worry about any neighbors. All in all, I would definitely recommend renting this house

Great autumn getaway to capture full foliage

We had a fantastic time (seven 30-year olds got away for a golf/hiking weekend.) It is extremely close to many points of interests in the Poconos and having the convenience of being right off the highway while still having a very private 8 acres made our trip worth-while! The creek runs along the entire property line and has hundreds of feet of walking area. During our stay (late October) we experienced PEAK foliage which was a delight to say the least. The home has ample space for large groups and the common area is fantastic- 3 large couches with comfortable seating for nine with a great fireplace. The Wifi worked very well for a Poconos rental and Lisa & Lance always returned my inquiries promptly and with kindness. There are a few things that future renters should be aware of: - guests are responsible to bring their own linens and towels. This would have been fine if it weren't foisted onto us with only 7 days of preparation. As of when I reserved the VRBO up until today, that policy is not clear. Some of us weren't coming from our homes and were inconvenienced by this late update. They offer a rental through a "linens-rental-subsidiary?" which felt transactional at best. For a significant price for a 2 day rental, I'm expecting not to have to bring or rent linens or make my bed quite frankly. -there was only one roll of paper towels left. We did our grocery trips the night before and the morning of our activities and were pretty ticked off we had to buy more. -the grill was nasty and we could not find a grill scrubber so we cooked over foil. We would've really benefited from some additional cooking trays, spatulas, tongs and other general kitchen supplies. - the TV is unfortunately small for the common room of that size All in all we had a great time and the above-mentioned inconveniences are only minor detractors. For the price we paid, I'm hoping they rethink their "towel/linens" policy and add some basic kitchen amenities. Thanks again for your accommodations and wishing you nothing but the best Lisa and Lance!

Glad we could accommodate your last-minute request to bring your dog, hope he had a great time too! The listing does not state that linens are provided, so we're sorry if you were surprised by that. Sorry the paper towels didn't last your 2 days. We always provide a full new roll which is usually sufficient for 2 days, but we always tell our groups to bring more of their own in case they run out. We stock 2-3 rolls of toilet paper in every bathroom which is also usually sufficient for 2 days but we remind our groups in advance to bring more just in case... The TVs are large screen tvs, larger ones actually wouldn't be a good fit for the rooms. For kitchen supplies - there are always tongs, spatulas, cooking and eating utensils, cookie sheets (trays) and more at the house, in drawers and cabinets. Again, we're glad you had a great time. Please keep us in mind for another trip, we'd love to help you again.

Family Getaway

This was a weekend to remember. We had such a wonderful time. The only downside was that I wish we had more time. The property was spacious, we enjoyed walking and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. We spent the day eating outdoors and some relaxed in the hammock. At night we played cards and pool in the game room. The beds were comfortable for a good night’s rest. Lisa, who is the owner was so polite and helpful. This is definitely a must stay and we will certainly return.

Wilderness escape with convenient location

We wanted a quick getaway allowing our family to unplug and unwind. The house is centrally located to a vast selection of outdoor activities while situated on peaceful and scenic property, affording convenience and privacy. We enjoyed ending our day sitting around the fire pit, making s'mores, and sharing stories. The owners are super helpful, quick to respond to questions before and during the stay, and offered detailed suggestions on everything from dining options to hiking trails. Many thanks to Lisa and Lance. We really enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely beautiful

The location was amazing and all of our questions were answered immediately. You really can't beat the views on the property and the amount of activities there are to do in and around the house. We had our mini wedding reception here and everyone commented on how beautiful the property was. Thank you again for everything!
