The bathroom is stocked with all the essentials and fluffy towels so you don’t have to bring anything along!

✔ Guests will have the entire home to themselves and can make the most of the green space, back deck overlooking the water, patio with firepit and charcoal grill, and of course the beautiful lake frontage!
✔ The front door has a code lock, you put your finger on the lock so it lights up and type in code 1-9-5-0. If you prefer keys please go to the back door lock box and use code 1-9-5-0.

★ OTHER THINGS TO NOTE ★

✔ This unit is amazing for proximity to the lake!
✔ Aircon and heating is available.
✔ The space is professionally cleaned after each stay.
✔ As it’s a lake environment, be prepared to encounter some insects. We have a professional pest control company but cannot guarantee you won’t come across some bugs or ants.
✔ The neighborhood can be loud at times with firework displays etc and very quiet with families at other times.
✔ Longer stays will have a $125 per two weeks light cleaning fee. Cleaner will do a light cleaning and quick inspection of the property.
✔ There is no dock with this unit as the neighbor's dock is unsafe.
✔ Stairs are steep and narrow and one room is very small with a sharp=angled roof.
✔ There are cameras at every entrance/exit facing outwards from the home. Cameras and the internet may not be covered, turned off, or manipulated in any way.

★ LOCATION★

This home is located 64 miles from Dallas and 20 miles from Athens, Texas. The Cedar Creek reservoir is known as a recreational lake for skiers and is also a good fishing lake for white bass, catfish and crappie. Within a short distance away, you’ll be able to find many eating options, golf courses or a nearby Walmart Supercenter to get some fresh food for the BBQ!

Good place to unwind!

We stayed at this property for 3 days total. Our total party size was 11 including kids. There was ample room to fit in everybody. First, just wanted to mention the very prompt and courteous interactions with both Mr. Amiri and Angela. Both of them responded to any issues straight away and were always positive in their approach. In terms of the property, the interior of the house itself was very clean and well maintained. Our only issue was with the outside which was a bit messy (maybe since we went during Thanksgiving break). Since first impressions count for a lot, the outside did provide a slight negative impact, however, on contacting Angela she did send over the maintenance persons early the next morning and so the issue was resolved. Lastly, some basic items were missing or, not provided which are sort of expected such as, salt, sugar, kitchen tissue etc. The toilet tissue was also lacking in most of the toilets but Angela dropped by the next day to replenish them. Overall we did have a good experience, however, due to the small issues I give them a 4/5. Nonetheless, I would recommend this property to others.

It was perfect!

The view, the paddle boards and canoe is what the kids enjoyed the most! Closet full of life jackets, all sizes and great deck games! The owner made sure we knew she was there if we needed anything! We will be back soon!!

This was the 2nd time we stayed here, we enjoy the big deck and the access to the water. We can't wait until the boat pier is ready for fishing. Having the paddle boat and kayak available was awesome. Firewood was available for the fire pit. We all enjoyed our stay and will be back with the family again!

PERFECT family getaway; Updates throughout!

Our family of 4 spent 3 nights there in mid-March. It was our first time visiting Cedar Creek and the property was exactly what we were looking for to RELAX. The interior has been completely updated. Granite countertops, stainless appliances, Keurig, fresh towels, comfy beds - all the kitchen utensils you could want. We spent most of our time relaxing on the brand new deck, around the firepit, fishing off the property. The kids loved the giant connect 4, and we had numerous cornhole "tournaments", etc. The owner was very communicative, sharing various favorite restaurants, additional info on the house, amenities, etc. Also, really enjoyed talking to the friendly neighbors on both sides. They kept to themselves, but we were happy to introduce ourselves & engage in conversation. As mentioned in the description & another review - there are a few additional updates being made to another house on the property but that didn't interfere with us at all. We can't wait to see everything once it's done! We will DEFINITELY be back. We've told all our friends about it, too. Thanks!
