À propos de cet hébergement

Tiny Home on beautiful Lake Huron just 2 miles south of the quaint town of Lexington Michigan. This property sits on a bluff overlooking Lake Huron which provides our guests an unobstructed view of passing freighters and stunning sunrises. The property sits on a 1/2 acre at the end of a quiet street with your own private beach surrounded by woods on one side. This warm and cozy Tiny home has large patio with plenty of covered outdoor living. We have a real wood fire pit and propane fire pit. Enjoy outdoor dining with grill, or have someone else cook for you at one of Lexington's many restaurants.

There are plenty of outdoor activities for everyone. We have Kayaks for rent, Giant Jenga, corn hole, and yard Yahtzee. If you have a boat you’ll be able to anchor out in front of your private beach or rent a slip in the Lexington harbor. RV/Campers are welcomed as the property has an electrical hook-up to park an RV/camper (extra charge). If your looking for a romantic getaway we can arrange a couples massage on the property, champagne, charcuterie board, and/or chocolates. Excellent Stay

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Millie's Place. The cottage was cozy and comfortable, and the view of Lake Huron was stunning. The cottage was extremely clean and we had everything we needed. Communication with Doreen was just right throughout the process. The clear tarps and heaters around the porch allowed us to be very comfortable on the porch even though it was cold and snowy during our visit. We hope to visit again during warmer weather!

Perfect!

Millie's Place was absolutely spotless and so comfortable. The PVC tarps on the porch were perfect for blocking the wind and held heat well. I would absolutely stay here again!

Cutest little place with amazing attention to detail. Although small the outdoor space makes up for it. Lovely porch protected from the elements so comfortable even in winter. Well stocked kitchen. Will definitely be back.

Very cozy getaway

This cozy getaway was the perfect escape from the chilly weather. The windows and enclosed patio offered stunning views of the lake and the snow-covered landscape. Every detail of the rental made for a truly relaxing getaway. We can't wait to return and visit with George!

Heaven on Lake Huron

Every year I go on a "me-treat" trip for a long weekend with my 2 doggies. This year I found this amazing couples cottage on a bluff overlooking Lake Huron. The cottage was PERFECT! Everything was exactly as described. The cottage was adorably decorated and perfectly appointed - I had everything I needed for cooking simple meals. The bed was cozy and comfortable. We spent most of our time relaxing on the porch which was enclosed with plastic and despite the cold and damp weather was completely comfortable. We loved watching the freighters on the horizon. The fenced property was perfect for my girlie dogs and my puppy got her first taste of the beach on the little private beach. Watch your curious pups as mine wanted to scale the 30ft cliff down to the water. Such a peaceful and relaxing property...I already booked for next year and hope for some sunny days!

Such a gorgeous and special getaway!

I have fallen in love with Millie's place! We came here a year ago with our Beagle Lab mix who was battling cancer. It's very healing here. I came back this past weekend to work on my mystery novel, based in Hope's Bay (my fictional town that I based Lexington on. Got so much work done in the heated covered porch. Even with cold and rain, it was so nice and cozy in there! Magical!

Amazing little property

Great views. Cute little one room cottage. Amazed at how the Murphy bed was one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Fenced in on 3 sides and right up against the lake our dog loved the freedom. Highly recommend.

Comfortable and Cozy.

Doreen has got everything covered that you may need..plus. Millie’s is immaculate and well furnished. We are seniors so spent most of our time on the enclosed porch. Warm with the vinyl …the heater on we were pleasant in 40-50 degree days! This is our second visit and look forward to a spring return. Thanks, Doreen!

Beautuful Lakeshore Cottage

This cottage is exquisite. All the little touches make you feel like you're in a 5 star hotel. Its a tiny space for 2 but has everything you need. The outdoor spaces are fantastic, quiet space, private beach.

Everything was wonderful! Although the days we chose were chilly and the waves were rolling, the tiny house was perfect. Immaculate, private and couldn't have been more welcoming. From fresh cut flowers in vases, heaters and lighting on the porch, to a kitchen with spices, little snacks and even the makings for smores. The hosts truly thought of everything. The dogs romped around in the fenced yard and it was peaceful and relaxing. We will be visiting again!!

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing.

The property was so beautiful and relaxing. The cottage is so cute and so well maintained and really clean. It would be impossible to feel any stress sitting out on the covered porch and just staring out at the beautiful view. Rick and Doreen are great hosts and checks in to make sure everything is going well.

Lovely Water Views

Great stay at cottage directly on Lake Huron, the scenery is why you are there. Beautiful and peaceful. Very large fenced yard great for dogs. Our dog had no problem going down steps to small beach area, was rocky, but he navigated without difficulty. Host Doreen so nice and accommodating. Cottage was essentially new and spotless. Despite tiny footprint, kitchen was fully stocked. Fold down Murphy bed very comfortable. Wifi and streaming TV worked well. Only 2 miles from Lexington. Would definitely stay again. Pictures accurately portray the property, except yard even larger than expected!

I'd Rather Keep this Beauty a Secret!

Pure heaven. It's tiny - and because we're older, this is a plus! Very peaceful and the view is amazing. There are 53 steps to the water - I did 3 round trips and was okay with it - just had to take my time. I'm a rock-hound - so found many goodies - a sea glass! Loved painting on the porch - and napping there is wonderful too! xoxoxo

Small piece of paradise

Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I do a weekend getaway every year. This year we selected a VRBO versus a hotel. It was perfect! The view was amazing, location was perfect. The cottage was very cute, very clean and perfect for just the two of us. Doreen the host was spot on. Her communication was great, very accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend this cottage!

Perfect Quiet Getaway

My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway and this tiny home was absolutely perfect. It was a little rainy and overcast, but the coverings on the patio were great to keep out the rain and keep in the warmth. Cuddling up with our dog in the morning with a light rain and the outdoor heater was a true joy. The inside of the tiny home was cute, cozy, and incredibly clean and the yard was perfect for our dog to run around in. We could not recommend this listing enough. Don’t hesitate, just book it.

My family has owned a cottage in Lexington for 53 years, which is where my husband and I now call home. My parents rented a cottage in the Lexington area for many years before they bought our place. My husband and I wanted to give the same opportunity to other families, to come and experience this amazing resort town. Maybe someday you’ll call Lexington home too.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property sits on a 1/2 acre lot at the end of Roger Road. The cottage has 140 feet of water front on Lake Huron. You’ll seeing amazing sunrises, and if your lucky enough to stay during a full moon - you’ll see a moon rising over the water. It’s a beautiful sight to see.

Your own private beach with Kayaks to rent. The Property even has room to park an RV, with electrical hook up. This is an additional rental option. Lots of covered outdoor living space with 2 fire pits - propane and wood burning.
