This lovely newly remodeled home is perfect for a group or family get-away. Anchorage Haus is located 2 blocks from Main Street and the Pacific War Museum. Downtown Fredericksburg shopping, restaurants and wine bars are an easy walk away. The Nautical theme, spacious living area and full kitchen lend itself to a comfortable and memorable stay for your party. The property offers three bedrooms and two baths, a dining area, private patio with seating, and off-street parking. All modern amenities are provided, including smart flat screen TV and WIFI. Children over the age of 10 are welcome. Come enjoy each other's company and the Beautiful Texas Hill Country in comfort and style at Anchorage Haus.

Perfect House

Rented this property for New Year getaway with family. We loved the house and it was perfect for us. Property was super clean (inside and out). We will definitely book it again for our next trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at the Anchorage Haus! It was clean and convenient for walking to Main street to enjoy Oktoberfest! The neighborhood was quiet and serene.

Perfect for winery visit

House is very clean and attention to detail is all there. Decor is my favorite. Nice to be close to Main St. and walk to 290 wine bus shuttle if you choose.

Nice home.

Nice little house. We had plenty room. Walking distance to Main Street. House was very clean. Great communication with host. It was perfect for our girls weekend. Only reason overall rating was not 5 stars was due to road traffic. If you are not used to it, it bothers sleep. Overall was a great place and location to be able to walk & not have to find a place to park. Thanks for sharing the home!

Location, Comfort, and Quality

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I selected this rental for its location and good reviews for our family of 6. We knew we wanted to walk to Main St, the National Museum of the Pacific War, the Marktplatz, and restaurants. We checked in after hours by easily grabbing the key from the management lock box a couple of miles away on Main St. The home was warm and welcoming with a couple of simply decorated Christmas trees. While we didn’t use the kitchen to cook during our short stay, we used the coffee pot and ample selection of mugs. The home itself is two bedrooms with a bath on one side of the living area and the primary suite on the opposite side. The home has been completely refreshed and is spotless from A to Z. The weather wasn’t too friendly for using the back yard, so we didn’t spend any time out there. There is a plenty of space but as a corner lot, it is open to the side without much screening. I didn’t see any place for outdoor games or fire pit. That would be the only area which could be improved upon in this comfortable house two blocks off Main.

Mother's Day Weekend Getaway

My mother-in-law, sister-in-law and I got away for the weekend. We really enjoyed our stay in Fredericksburg and the house was perfect. Only a couple of blocks from Main Street and a great location.

The check in is super easy, the key was hand delivered to us by Carren, who is very friendly and helpful. The space had a nice back yard with patio table and chairs. Inside was very clean with cute nautical decorations. The kitchen was well stocked with just about everything you would need for cooking or reheating.We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants a great stay in Fredericksburg!

The location is great - just a couple of blocks and an easy walk to Main Street where all the action is. The house was clean and well-kept inside and out - very modern and light. There are two driveways with parking for three cars. Key pickup and drop off at the start and end of the stay were easy at a location not far from the property.
