A Former Model Home located in Historic Fairfield, PA. 2.5 Miles from Liberty Mountain Ski Resort & 8 Miles from the Battlefields in Gettysburg, PA. 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 baths- sleeps 8 comfortably. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout. Tiled bathrooms. Stainless steel appliances & granite countertops. Large laundry room with full size washer & dryer. Rear deck with views of Liberty & the surrounding mountains with outside seating. We are Walking distance to 2 restaurants. Ample off-street parking. Highspeed Wireless Internet. 2 Brand New 50 Inch TVs. Gorgeously decorated by a professional designer. We have local areas for Fishing, Kayakers, bikers, skiers or hikers at Caladonia and Cunningham Falls State Parks. Local Wineries are also close by.

Our family was beyond happy with our stay here -- thank you for hosting us! The home is so spacious and well-decorated. It's also well-taken care of and clean. It was a fun, comfortable space to come back to after being out and about in Gettysburg during the day.

Third time staying at Tall Haven. The place is always clean, and kitchen is stocked with all of the utensils one could need to cook. Pizza place across the street isn't bad either. M

We enjoyed this property so much in 2024 we stayed there again in 2025. My sons play Vintage Baseball in Gettysburg and this house works great for my sons, their families and us. Everything you can possibly need is supplied. Check-in is easy, the host is very accommodating and communication is great. There is a nice restaurant just a block away which is very convenient. You are 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Gettysburg which works for us. We will stay again in 2026 if we visit Gettysburg again.

This property was large enough to allow us to spread out and relax after our tiring days. The kitchen was stocked with ample cookwear, dishes and utensil for all of our meals. Beds were comfy, closet space for everything.

Tall Haven Ranks High

We enjoyed the location, the decor, the beds were very comfortable, the easy parking, the walks in the town, and the restaurants. The smell of the carpet cleaner was strong and offensive to my sensitive nose. After opening all the windows for a few hours, it went away. The shower was a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise, the place is lovely, spacious, and comfortable.

Home away from home

Stayed at Tall Haven for a weekend of tubing at Ski Liberty. The house was absolutely amazing, decorated beautifully, cozy and spacious. The kids felt so comfortable and didn’t want to leave. Trish was very easy to deal with and you could tell she genuinely cares about her property and guests. Location was perfect and easy to get to. Will most definitely be returning to Tall Haven for another weekend of winter fun!

70th birthday weekend

Our family stayed here for our mom’s 70th birthday this past weekend and loved it! She loves going to Gettysburg so the location was perfect, only about a 10-15 min drive. House is beautiful and so clean! We had so much fun and the rooms/beds were comfortable and perfect for our group. Lots of amenities/games and space for family to relax and spend time together. We will definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful and comfortable

Beautiful, comfortable and clean. It was located in a great location for our activities. The good quality washer/dryer were appreciated as we did not have to wait around for laundry "duty" during our 8 week road trip. We enjoyed the back porch and views. One note: we did not realize that there was a realty office on the lower floor but it was absolutely no issue for us.

Beautifully appointed family space

Spacious with 2 adult bedrooms plus a room with an adorable safe bunk bed setup & full bed, open plan kitchen and well-stocked with dishes, paper goods, linens, etc. Decorated with a charming, fand comfortable decor throughout. Lots of nice little touches. It's near our home in Orrtanna and easily accommodated two adult couples and 3 kids. They loved it! Close to golf, Liberty, and Gettysburg attractions. Highly recommend this space!

Gettysburg trip

The place was very nice! Beautiful home and the bedrooms were really nice! The deck was nice to sit on and have your morning coffee. The only down side was the steps that you have to climb to get to the main part of the home, you are on the second and third floor of the home. Definitely a do over!!

Great location/Spacious House

Stayed for a long weekend with 4 adults and 4 kids. House was great overall. Clean, well stocked, and plenty of space for sleeping (closet bunks were a hit), dining (two tables fit us all easily) and hanging out (large living room with big couch). Less than 5 minute drive to Liberty Mountain for skiing and 15 mins drive to Gettysburg. Extra bonus: plenty of parking and space for kids to run around, ride bikes and play outside.

Beautiful home just minutes from Gettysburg

The home was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were only a party of 4 but the home could have easily slept 8 comfortably. Would definitely rent this properly again if we return to the Gettysburg area. Thank you Trish!
