Beachfront for CCMF

A hike, but walkable to CCMF. Served our purpose and ee had a great time. The 1 bedroom comfortably slept 6 adults. Breakfast at Magnolia’s was ok, but included, the pool was great, mini golf across the street, and of course beachfront! Overall, a great place for the price.

Great space and view, large tub, comfortable beds. Only complaint is the living room carpet and furniture was old and dirty.

The house

Awesome kitchen, washing machine and dryer great, heck everything was great, with the exception of the cones in the loading and unloading area, that will cause an unwanted accident.

Very clean, pleasant place, was very happy with A/C unit. Was not happy with the number of codes I had to keep track of, this could be corrected.

It was a nice enough place....it was roomy and had a nice balcony. But it was very dated. The curtains were falling apart, there were stains all over the pull-out sofa, the shower had zero water pressure....it was ok for what it was but I don't think I would stay again.

Myrtle Getaway

The condo itself was about as it is described. It does have a nice balcony with a good view of about everything. It was clean and comfortable enough, although it does need some attention (carpet needs replaced, holes in wall roughly patched). Get used to a lot if codes too... a 4 digit one for parking garage, another 4 digit for elevator, and then a 10 digit one for the condo. Our main issue was that on the beach the lifeguards would not allow us to put up any umbrellas or canopies of any kind unless they were at the very back of the beach behind umbrellas that were rented out for $50 a piece a day, on extremely hot and sunny days. Thats total BS! If you have kids that want to play in the beach (as 95% of kids do), in order to safely monitor them you have to sit cooking in the sun by the water. Anyway, overall we enjoyed our stay.

Was alright

The view from the balcony was great, kitchen was clean. I unfortunately can not say the same about the bathroom or living room There was gum stuck on the windowsill above the bathtub, the mirror above the bathroom sink was dirty. There was grime where the wall met the bath tub. The shower head also had so much built up residue on it, there was no pressure to wash the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair. I tried to wash it off myself with a washcloth but it didn’t make a difference. When we first arrived the staff failed to tell us the hot and cold water was backwards on the facet, and not as labeled. so after a two day drive without a shower I had to take a cold shower once we arrived. ALL of the curtains in the living room had rips and tears. The whole right end of the curtain wasn’t even attached to anything. It was falling off the ceiling. The leg on the coffee table was broken, had to push up against the wall, couldn’t use it, it would fall over. And you couldn’t find a spot on the couch that didn’t have a stain. I contacted the front desk and they were very rude assessing the situation. Overall, just needs to be maintained better, they should replace the furniture. Would not have any issues if the property was clean and reasonably useable for the price paid.

The overall stay was good, but the living room furniture badly needs replacing. The living room furniture placement was strange. The curtains and drapes were badly torn and needs replacing as well.

Needs lots of work.

The lady at check-in was very nice. The layout of the unit was great. No problem with elevators. Didn’t have to wait very long which is surprising for peak season and being on 18th floor. The pools were clean. The big garden sized bathtub was great with kids. The sofa was absolutely disgusting. Thankfully, I had taken a king size fitted sheet to cover it with based on other reviews. So glad I did. Living room curtains were shredded and nasty. Closet/pantry doors don’t run on their tracks. The dining table top was missing screws and was so wobbly, I was afraid let the children sit at it to eat. The coffee table had a broken leg and kept falling off. There is a large electrical receptacle in the center of the living room floor with power and cable cords going to it. Very dangerous with children. Kitchen barely had basic essentials for cooking simple meals. The beds were very uncomfortable. No sheets were provided for the sleeper sofa, which we could have asked for but it was so disgusting we just decided to all squeeze in the two small bedroom beds. The ocean and city/street view was great from the very large balcony. It was definitely not worth the price that we paid for three nights.

Be careful of roaches!!

The room was very nice, however, we seen about 5 cockroaches while staying in this room. The amenities were a plus! If it weren't for the roaches, I would have given 5 stars. All the staff I encountered was super friendly!

I can't tell you what I loved but I can tell you what I did not love which was the dirty carpet the dirty curtains the dirty couch the room had a weird smell and we found a waterbug the size of my hand the television wasn't hooked up!! Long story short I will not be staying at Carolinian hotel again I give it a big thumbs down and a big round 0....

Beautiful view

Beautiful view. Spacious for my family of five. My only gripe is the floor in the seating area was not vacuumed. Enjoyed the daily free breakfast.
