Our 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment is located in the Log Hill development, just 15 minutes from Ridgway and 41 miles from Telluride. The property acres showcase the main residence and an apartment. This is the listing for the apartment.
Featuring 1,000 square foot apartment ONLY, which features 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms (note the 2nd bathroom is adjacent to the master - see the photo in the listing). The homes can be rented separately or together as each has substantial privacy buffers from the other. The apartment features a fully-stocked kitchen, a comfortable living space with spectacular views, and a flat-screen TV with internet TV, with a second-level deck with unmatched views of the Cimarron and Sneffel's mountain ranges. It is the perfect retreat to bask in the cool mountain air, take in the plentiful views, and create a base camp for all of your mountain adventures.
There's also a trail (for residents/guests only) out the door that meanders several miles throughout the entire Log Hill Village area and offers amazing views.

Parking: There is parking in the west garage for one car with room in front of the garage.

Bed Configuration:
Master Bedroom - Queen Bed (Second Floor - Stairs Required)
2nd Bedroom - Queen Bed (Second Floor - Stairs Required - (Master Accessed Through this Bedroom).

4WD/AWD is strongly recommended in winter - September through May.

Nestled at nearly 8,000 feet, Log Hill Mesa, CO offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year! In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. You'll love the summer music series in Ouray's Fellin Park or music in Ridgway's Park! In the winter months bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, or Nordic skis and enjoy downhill skiing in Telluride, a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray and Ridgway! Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. After a day of adventure enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, and the ever-popular Ouray Hot Springs.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was a 10, but the accommodations left more to be desired. Unfortunately the description of a 2 bedroom is less than accurate. The picture of the 2nd bedroom is deceptive because the door you see is the one going into the actual bedroom. That space there is more of a nook used for a second bed. They do not have AC, so it is extremely hot in the Summer. And although we did open all the windows we could (some did not work) we only had a small fan in the living/ dining room to try to blow cooler air into the unit after the Sun had set.The refrigerator was not working exactly well and kept freezing our food. I think it's on its last leg.The stove top is electric and all the burners do not work correctly.There were only 2 coffee cups provided and well as 4 forks, but plenty of knives and spoons. So we had to do dishes each time we ate food.It was clean and had wonderful views and a big deck.The internet stopped working for us the morning after we checked in. I did let the rental management know, we tried to reset the router or booster in the unit. But the description of their system was that the router was in the inaccessible main house and the booster was in the rental we were staying in. They keep sending me texts and emails that I was able to get using my phones data saying that if there was anything they could do to make the stay better to let them know. But when I did let them know, they never corrected the problem. So after a long day and we wanted to watch a movie or the Olympics, we were unable too. Which is why we rented an apartment/lock off in the first place so we could chill at the end of busy outdoor days as a family.I would caution you if you decide to rent this place and expect it to have all the standard creature comforts they describe to have. And although they stated that there is no AC, the location while very spectacular views, was smoking hot and that is not an understatement. I would probably not ren

Property is listed as 2 bedroom which it is NOT!! Just because you put a bed somewhere does not make it a "Bedroom". No door, no closet, no shelves, no hooks, no widow, NO PRIVACY. BUYER BE WARE!

Breathtaking views

This place was a wonderful stay. Up a beautiful mountain, and tucked away. The drive up the mountain is beautiful, only scary when the fog clouds your view. The place is part of a larger home, and we are on the small guest side. Which was still roomy. The bedrooms are right next to each other, which I originally thought they were further apart. The scenery from each room is amazing. And sitting outside at night, you can see a ton of stars and the Milky Way. The view from the backyard is breathtaking, over looking Ridgeway. The only complaint is the curtains by the front door. It blocks the sun and keeps it cool, which is great, but it smells very dusty and kicks up my allergies. I would return. This place is so nice. Thanks for the lovely home for the week.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We wanted to visit Ouray and Telluride. This was a half-hour drive to Ouray and One hour to Telluride. The drive,in and out of Log Village seemed long, about 12 minutes...but the view was worth it. Waking up to see the trees and the valley and the peace and quiet. We spent long mornings drinking coffee outside and evenings playing cards on deck and star watching. I was so longing to be able to open the sliding doors in the dining area but they were sealed shut while waiting for a replacement. The beds were comfortable. The breeze was cool and refreshinng. The lighting is dim in the bathrooms. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. Coffee, cream and sugar would have been a nice bonus. they had a washing machine

Wonderful Views and A Gorgeous House

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Perched perfectly on a hill to view the Mount Sneffels Range it made for a perfect start and end to our days there. We can't wait to come back and stay again!

The place had a beautiful view, it was a little warm due to no air conditioning, but it was unusually warm , the problem we had was the smell in garage due to recycling trash not taken care of , Place was roomy enough, but could use a little work , it is 15 minutes from the town of Ridgeway

Amazing location but needs some TLC

The property is located atop a scarp and has amazing views over valleys and mountains. You are required to walk through one bedroom to get to the other and through a huge closet to get to a bathroom. The problems we had with the property were the details. It was not properly cleaned and checked before we arrived. There were pieces of cereal under the edges of the sofa and the table, the refrigerator freezer had a glacier of ice and ice cubes that was dripping water into the refrigerator. Dust covered the appliances and the kitchen was woefully equipped for cooking. We had one paring knife, no pot holders, a worn out 6" skillet, only a couple of measuring devices, and nothing to clean the grill with. There were about 20 butter knives. A Verasol blind onto the deck was broken. We could not figure out how to open the garbage can to put our trash out. It was all quite frustrating. With little effort and cost this property could be freshened up to be amazing.

Beautiful and unique

Breathtaking views of the valley below from the patio! Cabin was lovely too, but not ideal if you are planning on cooking- missing basic things like salt/pepper, chef knife, sponge, basic pans.. overall really happy though!
