Summary:
Seadated is a large family-friendly home on a bridge less island. It is just a short water taxi ride and you will be enjoying the pristine and uncrowded private beaches on Little Gasparilla Island. There is also a dock slip included if you want to bring a boat during your stay. Four bedrooms and two baths offer plenty of room to spread out with friends and family.
The Space:
Please note that Little Gasparilla Island is a barrier island accessible only by boat; we provide water taxi information when you book. You cannot drive your vehicle to the island; you park at the marina on the mainland where you catch the water taxi. There are no stores, bars or restaurants on Little Gasparilla which means it has retained much of its "old Florida" ambiance and pristine beauty. For years Little Gasparilla was visited only by locals who would come on weekends to fish, go to the beach and enjoy the privacy, peace and quiet. Now, even though it has been discovered, the lack of commercial establishments means that the island appeals to those who want to get away from crowds, tourists, traffic and technology.
And, if you would like to rent a golf cart to explore the island, we may be able to offer one, subject to availability.
Seadated offers high speed wireless internet service and several large brand new television sets, one in the living room, one in the master bedroom and one on the spacious downstairs deck. The owner has provided free kayaks for guests' use as well as free HBO and Cinemax. There is a new "egg-style" charcoal grill
and the owners are creating a fire pit area behind the house for chilly-night fires and s'mores! The kitchen is well equipped for a holiday feast to the most casual beach meal. The home is stocked with everything you need for a carefree beach vacation
There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with two twins. The other is the master with a king bed and a private balcony overlooking the Gulf. Two more bedrooms downstairs offer a queen and two more twins. The home will sleep 8 but please note that rates are based on 6....there is an extra guest charge for each guest over 6, to cover additional cleaning, utilities and extra laundry.
The home offers stunning beach views from the living area, the front deck and the private upstairs deck off the master bedroom.
There is also a spacious downstairs deck area.

PLEASE NOTE: We do require that two members of each group must be over 25 years of age. We apologize, but we can NOT rent to college groups as a courtesy to the homeowners and our island neighbors. Guests will be evicted if found not to meet age requirements upon check in. Additionally, we can not exceed capacity in island homes due to the fragile septic systems.
The Neighborhood:
LGI is only accessible via boat or the water taxi. The water taxi runs by appointment only and is $10 per person each way. There are no stores or restaurants on LGI, but there are grocery delivery options. The island is the perfect spot to unwind without the typical Florida beach crowds.
Getting Around:
There are no cars or roads on the island. There are golf cart rentals available if you want to explore sandy pathways, but it is by no means necessary. A complimentary concierge will meet you at the dock upon arrival to assist with transporting your luggage and groceries to the home. You can request his assistance upon departure as well for a nominal fee.
Other Things to Note:
Please evaluate your expectations before booking a stay on Little Gasparilla Island. If you are expecting a polished "resort" atmosphere, Little Gasparilla is decidedly more rustic. During periods of heavy rain or tropical storms, there may be standing water on the roadways, at the dock and around the house. This is a tropical environment with mosquitos, rust, power outages and other minor inconveniences.
Interaction with Guests:
We are based on-island and we have an on island guest services manager available if you need anything during your stay. Maintenance requires service personnel from the mainland, however, so repairs may take longer than you may be used to on the mainland. Our mantra is "go-with-the-flow".
