Just Steps from the pool, beach and Pier Park! VIP Beach Chairs provided and private Owners Parking included! For information on our two sister units - The Shoreline at Calypso (3 King Bed / 3 Full Bath) and - The Sunset at Calypso (3 King Bed / 3 Full Bath) please email the host.

The Sandcastle at Calypso is a luxury unit featuring 2 King Suites in the largest 2 bedroom footprint in Calypso. Instead of a separate bunk room, this floor plan puts the extra square footage in the living room and kitchen, thus providing the most spacious floor plan in the Calypso complex. Totally Renovated and professionally decorated in February of 2021, this unit is sure to please and includes two rocker recliners and Polywood patio furniture! The second floor unit adds the palm trees to your relaxed beach view.

This premium unit sleeps a maximum of 6 with two king beds and a queen sized sleeper sofa. Each bedroom features a king sized bed and each has a dedicated full bath. One bedroom has direct balcony access to gulf front while the other is located on the opposite end of the unit with a view of Pier Park. This second floor unit is located right next to the stairwell in the center of the complex, which puts you two floors above your private owners parking spot, one floor above the beach / pool and one floor below the walkway to the public garage. While there is a cluster of 24 hour elevators just down the hall, this unit has access to an elevator in the center of the building that only services the first 4 floors and is available during business hours.


CHECK-IN PROCESS

You will be able to park one vehicle beach-side, directly below your unit in the Calypso Owner's Garage. Entry to the garage is by private key code. You will then take the elevator to the second floor to our luxury unit. If you have a second vehicle, it will be parked across the street in the Calypso North garage. Entry to garage is by pre-printed pass with barcode. The crossover from the garage to the resort is on the third floor. You will proceed directly to our unit, by-passing all the lines for the elevators and condo offices. You will then enter a private key code to unlock the door and enter. You DO NOT have to go to a lobby to "check in" or to a different location to "get your keys".

Calypso Resort charges a $50 registration fee per party which includes access to all resort amenities and one parking spot in the Calypso North Garage across the street. You do not have to pay any additional fee for use of our private parking space in the Calypso Owners Garage (beach side). If your party has more than two vehicles, a third parking space can be purchased from Calypso for an additional $50. The fee covers the entire duration of your stay.

Great space with ideal location. The space is perfect for a family; walking distance to so much and the beach & pool are right out the door. Even with the prime location, there wasn’t too much noise - with it being Spring Break that was a relief! We recommend and hope to be back!

Beautiful Unit in a Great Location

A very nice unit and condo. Our kids appreciated the second King bed, since both are taller than us. With the unit being on the 2nd floor it's very easy to get out to the pool or the beach. It's right next to the elevator or the stairs, and there's a also a nice staircase on that floor where the business office is that takes you down a level to the pool and walkway to the beach. There's a trade-off being that low, with the balcony view somewhat obscured by palm trees and you're right above the pool. The included umbrella/chair service also makes it much easier to just go out to the beach and sit. No need to set up an umbrella or shelter. You can take the elevator or regular stairs down to the owner's garage. It's nice having a private garage knowing you always have a spot, and not much traffic coming through. Be aware that the space is tight, with two small spots bordered by concrete walls. We have a minivan and a huge SUV was next to us the 1st day, so my wife had to get out before I pulled in. A few days there was no other car, and a smaller sedan the last few. There's an elevator that only goes to the third floor. That limits wait time, although we only used it when we moved in and when we checked out. The stairs were easy. There's no official check in or check out process. Just text Penny to let her know when you arrive and when you leave. Very convenient compared to other places we've stayed. There could be more spoons (only a few teaspoons). We got by, though.

Beautiful condo

This condo was perfect for my family. My husband and I traveled with our grown son and his girlfriend. The accommodations were perfect. Plenty of space. Beautifully decorated. The owners parking was a game changer. No more fighting for a good parking spot. Location is convenient to Pier Park. Penny was just a phone call away. Answered all my questions and was a true joy to work with. We can’t wait to stay with Penny in the future!

Family Trip

We were a family of my husband and myself, along with our son and daughter in law and 1 yr old grand daughter. The main reason I chose this condo was one level and easy access to beach... Although I really missed having a view, having access to the stairs right beside the unit and not having to wait for elevator made up for it. Being able to walk to Pier Park was nice. Owner was SO nice and easy to work with, even made great restaurant recommendations

Calypso 201 - tower II

We really loved our stay in this beautiful condo! The plus was being on the 2nd floor near the stairs and only having to go up or down 1 level to access the pool area and stairs to the beach. Also the owner has a parking space in the garage below the condo which avoided having to cross the bridge over the street to the over flow parking deck every time we went out. The condo kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The balcony was great for enjoying breakfast in the mornings. The only downside is the view is not as good on a lower floor with a some palm trees in front. Other family members stayed in another condo on a higher floor at the same time and the living/dining area was much smaller than this condo.

Great 2 bedroom with the perfect location for walkability to pier park and multiple restaurants. Second floor next to the stairs couldnt have been more convenient all without the noise of the first floor. You look right down at the pool and the ocean through palm trees. Fantastic place will return

"The Sandcastle at Calypso" is owned by Timeout PCB, LLC and was purchased and totally remodeled in February of 2021. Timeout PCB also owns two other trophy condos at Calypso: "The Sunset at Calypso" (8th floor corner) and "The Shoreline at Calypso" (3rd floor corner). Both of these units feature a floor plan of three king bed suites on the western corner of the resort. If the Sandcastle (two king suites) is not large enough for you, check out one of these other two units.

Timeout PCB is a family owned and operated entity. We manage our properties personally and we do not manage properties for others. My name is Penny Lancaster and I'm a retired school teacher and real estate broker. My husband is a community banker. We vacation in our own units and take pride in their quality and appearance. We want you to have a great experience in one of our condos!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Why Calypso? That's easy. If you've done any research on PCB, you know that Calypso is the closest resort to Pier Park and the famous Russell Fields City Pier (only 300 steps on the sidewalk). They are across the street from each other and are a quick 4 minute walk from Calypso. Leave your car in the garage and avoid the traffic. Pier Park is the heartbeat of PCB and houses the area's best restaurants and shopping - there is even a huge 16 screen movie theater. Many Calypso guests never use the car once they arrive. Time is precious - don't spend it in traffic! Hit the beach - fish the Pier - or play at Pier Park!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

"The Sandcastle at Calypso" (Unit 201W) is very unique in that it's location is right next to the stairs and the private elevator in the center of building. It's also a second floor unit which puts the beautiful Palm Trees within reach of your balcony. Your private Owners parking spot is located just two floors below your unit. Lastly, though it is the largest floor plan of the two bedroom units, this unit is only designed to sleep six. It is not cluttered with bunk rooms and/or built in bunks - just a wide open floor plan to spread out.
