This listing Includes both a main House and an entertainment building..... SO TWO BUILDINGS.....40 feet apart. The house is two levels. FIVE bedrooms with two kings and six queen beds. 8 beds total, perfect for eight golfers. There is an on site hot tub. There is a 9 hole golf course on property, as well as ball fields, animals, hiking trails, fishing ponds, amazing views. The NAVY building is the private ENTERTAINMENT CENTER (art studio) It is 1500 square feet with 17 foot couch and 80 in tv, perfect for banquets and large dinners. You will have access to "The Galena Territory owners club," (seven minutes away) with indoor/outdoor pools, fitness center, gym, horseback riding, pontoon boat rentals.

Beautiful ranch

We had a fantastic stay! Joe, the ranch hand was wonderful and even gave us a ride around the ranch. Huge bedrooms, and the art studio building was so perfect for our large group. We look forward to coming back to the ranch.

Great Escape

The place sat on a beautiful country acreage and was perfect for a guy's getaway weekend. Between the activities on site and the game shed, there was never a dull moment.

Great weekend getaway!

We loved our stay at the Caspian house! It's perfect for large parties. We were a family of 7 adults and 4 young kids. Stunning views, the studio was the perfect place for the kids to burn some energy, & the house is setup perfectly to spend some quality time with family. Thank you Mark & Joe!

New Years Eve weekend away

A group of 4 families thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The property has pleanty of room for everyone to spread out. The art studio was a perfect extra space for our teenagers to hang out while the adults spent time in the main house. The hot tub was a great added bonus, as well as access to the Galena Area Owners Club with its indoor pool and gym. The scenery was gorgeous! The house was very well kept and extremely clean.

Best view in Illinois

The house itself was even better in person than in the pictures. What I did not anticipate was the absolutely gorgeous view of the ranch that could be seen from the back of the house. You could not have found a more scenic view of rural Illinois. A great space to host events for friends and family. You won’t want to leave the property!😍

Fun Friend Reunion

Mark made sure he had a good combination to suit our large group of 14. We had an amazing weekend on the property, including a little UTV tour of the land where we got to see the various animals! Having the studio as a dedicated area to hang out with AC was a big bonus. Everyone had a comfy bed and the kitchen was perfect for big family-style meals. One day in and we were already planning to come back. Thanks for the hospitality and sharing your space with us!

Great family get-away

Our family (ages 2 through 60) had a great time. There were twelve of us total, and there were more than enough bedrooms, plenty of space, amazing views, peace & quiet, and A LOT to do on the ranch - even more than we expected. Having the second building for games was a bonus. The grandkids LOVED the animals - had to walk down to see them multiple times a day! I'm not sure what they liked more, the animals, or talking to Joe! Great communication, very friendly and helpful - Mark got us tee-times at Eagle Ridge. We made use of the passes to the owner's club for swimming, tennis, and the exercise room. This location made our stay in Galena memorable and relaxing. Thanks so much for hosting us!

We will be back

We keep coming back to the properties on Brixen Ivy Ranch with different family and friends. This time there were 6 young adults at the house and it was perfect for them. Comfortable beds and large bedrooms and plenty of living space. They loved the new game room where they spent most of the time playing pool, Foosball and watching TV. The party barn next door was perfect for lounging around Saturday and watching football games. Also got 18 holes of cowboy golf under a beautiful sunset. Joe, the property manager, and the owner were very responsive answered all our questions about the property. At night we relaxed in the hot tub with spectacular views. Definitely coming back!

Great stay for large groups! Gorgeous area! -- Plan to use this house again next year

So much space! 8 beds spread out over 5 rooms in the house. Hot tub wasn't super hot and fridge wasn't super cold, but overall our stay was great! I would recommend bringing more towels! Washer and dryer help, but their just isn't enough for large groups. House has nice updates. The shop next to the house is amazing for entertaining groups of people! Might even be a fun area to let kids sleep in their own 'bunk house.' Our friends plan to stay again on our next ski trip! Thanks!

Gorgeous property

We stayed in two buildings on the ranch, and they were outstanding. So many amenities, beautiful setting, close together for ease of a big group to congregate. Overall, we were thrilled with the experience. Thanks to the host and ranch hand!

Nice place, disappointingly managed

Usually within the week of check-in information is given to the renter, none was provided. The only reason I knew what to do upon arrival was by messaging the owners who at that point gave me the phone number of the ranch hand, Joe, that would meet us and I needed to coordinate check-in time with. N ot sure how I was supposed to find that number... Additionally there is no information packet that's usually a staple for VRBOs to have something for the renter to reference. Several rooms of the house we were not allowed in due to construction or being just told not to go in there. One of these banned rooms was the pantry with extra garbage bags, paper towels, soap, coffee, etc. I've never had to come with my own supplies like this to a VRBO before, which would not be a problem if there is any type of warning and we would have a chance to shop for these items beforehand, which wasn't the case, we were made aware of this by Joe at check-in. The pool was a main reason for us picking this location which also turned out to be a hassle. There were no passes to the pool provided at the property, or any information given on how to get into the club with the pool. Initially asking Joe led to a 2 hour wild goose chase of calling various people to be able to get 3 people from our group to be allowed to go to the pool, what a mess... Overall the property was nice, the art room was a big draw for a large group of 10 to be able to hangout within driving distance to downtown Galena. Poorly managed property lacking a lot of important information that should be made known to the guests prior to arrival. I did see other reviews that raved about the kindness of management, but in my experience there was unfriendly management that treated us like a nuisance after our initial questions prior to booking.

I hate having to respond to reviews like this. This group of 8-10 made a lot of noise at times and disturbed the other houses near by. So....You are complaining because you cant go into the GARAGE, OWNERS PANTRY and a UTILITY ROOM in the BASEMENT? I have no idea what would cause someone to complain about lack of access or make a claim that we are under construction!? ONE PASS is all you need to get as many people into the owners club that you want. There are usually four hanging up in kitchen. I dont know why it was so hard to use the passes we have for you to use, for access to the Galena territory owners club. Maybe a written sheet of instruction would help, but usually a two minute conversation at check in does the job. We supply garbage bags, and soaps and a roll of paper towels. I dont know why you think you should get access to our pantry and have unlimited supplies and take coffee out of it!? And anyone who claims Joe was unfriendly (despite all the positive reviews from others) doesn't sit well with me. I do not accept that this is a poorly managed property! With 300 acres, all the animals, golf course, ball fields, hot tubs etc......I think we do a pretty good job of providing an amazing facility for our guests enjoyment. It appears some groups need more "management" than others. We can definitely agree that "the property is nice and the art studio is a big draw".

Golf Trip

We had a large group of guys playing golf for the weekend. Caspian house had enough beds to accommodate. The separate building was a great addition for the full group to comfortably gather. The property is beautiful, cool little 9-hole golf course on property. The ranch hand Joe couldn’t have been nicer. There are more homes on the property available as well. Overall great experience and would stay here again!
