Located on the shores of the Emerald Coast, SunDestin Beach Resort is in the perfect spot to enjoy everything Destin has to offer. There are many on-site amenities including an indoor and outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, a fitness center, and more. Seasonal amenities include an outdoor tiki bar, a splash pad, and beach chair and umbrella rentals. Plus, the Scenic Stays team is always available at the 24-hour front desk.

SunDestin 1817 is a one-bedroom, one and half bath condo with a fantastic view. Upon entry, you’ll see the kitchen, dining and living areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make meals and is bright and airy. There’s seating for four at the dining room table. The sofas in the living area are a great spot to wind down after a day exploring the Destin area. Get a DVD in the lobby to enjoy- they’re included in your stay. Through the sliding glass door is the balcony- it's the perfect place to enjoy sunsets and the coastline view of the Gulf of Mexico. The master bedroom can be accessed from the balcony and has a king-sized bed. Both bathrooms can be accessed from this room or the hall. There’s a sofa bed in the living room, so the condo sleeps four guests comfortably. This one-bedroom rental will easily become your favorite place to stay.

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Less than five miles from SunDestin Beach Resort you'll find multiple golf courses, restaurants, and attractions. Spend a day off the sand at Big Kahuna’s Waterpark or The Track Destin- they’re both less than a mile from the resort. SunDestin 1817 is just steps to the Gulf of Mexico and is the place to create many memories- book your trip now!

Pretty, clean condo with a beautiful view!

The property was going through renovations and the outdoor pool was closed, but our unit was perfect and the view from our balcony was fantastic! Beautiful sunsets and relaxing waves. The bed and pullout sofa were both comfortable and everything was very clean. Would recommend!!!

Great view of city and beach!!!

This condo was perfect with the bedroom facing the water! Waking up to the sunrise was a treat! We could also see the city! The extra 1-2 bath was perfect. The bed was also comfortable! A little outdated, but I would stay again!

The condo was nice and clean. It just wasn't anything over the top amazing. This was the first time renting a condo vs hotel room, and I actually missed having room service.

Great location

Great location and view! However this unit is in need of some love the tub is slow to drain and numerous spots in the kitchen area where parts of the counter are missing, lamp shades that have splashes of something on them. My least favorite part was the check in where in order to get our parking permit they were trying to get us to join the Wyndham vacation group and view the timeshares. Overall the location and view were amazing just needs a little paint and care.

My perfect getaway

The resort is under updating construction ash’ and this was not a secret at all from the proper communication. I was informed a couple of times before my stay and I truly appreciated that. The location, hospitality, privacy, stay. Honestly I have nothing to complain about. I understood construction and when I come back next year I’ll appreciate the updates I get to experience. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was only due to the ongoing construction.

This was our first trip to Destin and it was absolutely incredible! The property was in the perfect location and getting to the beach was simple. The view from the balcony was stunning even though it wasn't a direct view of the ocean. Being able to watch the sunset and sunrise from the bedroom was so peaceful. We would definitely go back to this property & this unit again!!

I give this a thumbs up! A few little things. The ice maker didn’t work we called maintenance they came quick said they’d look into it never came back. The couches very uncomfortable. But we weren’t on it that much . The view is breathtaking. Top floor. Overall property has all you need. There is no towel service didn’t know that but we made it work it was two of us. We both said we’d stay again so beautiful

This unit needs help

We walked into a unit that was hot and uncomfortable and how the workers didn’t know that the air was not working properly when they cleaned it, is my question. The next day the AC company came out and added Freon, but that didn’t fix the issue. The bathtub doesn’t drain when you shower, the kitchen sink doesn’t drain, and the stove only has 2 working eyes. I sent out an email that I still haven’t gotten a response back and also a separate email sent to maintenance that was never addressed.

We had an amazing time in Destin. I would absolutely recommend staying at SunDestin. The location was perfect, and the room was amazing. My only regret would be not staying longer. We will be back.

Enjoyed the top floor views. The cooking range was not on, however, we ate out every night. We did not know why is was off, so we left it be. Great experience.

Nice Place

Good place to stay. Great place on the beach. Fairly quiet. Comfortable bed. A/C worked fine. Good wifi. Slant view of beach next door as this property is on the side of the complex. The pool doesn't have any shade kind of forcing you to go to the beach for the umbrella shade. TV's could use some upgrades, i.e. small 720p in the bedroom.

Overall, good experience!

The room was clean and furnishings were up to date. The air conditioning went out on the second day, but Scenic Stays got someone to repair it within a short time frame.

Over all it was a good trip. Was surprised to find out there was no washer and dryer in the unit. Although the unit was clean, it was very outdated.

Condo was dirty glass had handprints everywhere and all the walls are mirrors and floors looked like hadn't been swept or mopped n weeks sand all over and turned your feet black I paid over 140 cleaning fee for a dirty condo pools stayed packed with kids and no parents and had a small maybe 11 yr old running round with beers for his drunk dad that was being loud and ignorant playing hacky sack.. all in all it was ok if u like crowded pools and hottubs and sauna had teens having sex n it told security he laughed..next time I'll spend the extra money and go to the island..
