Love this location. View of Gore Creek and the backdrop of the mountain is fabulous. Easy walk to tennis courts, the Betty Ford Park, the outdoor concerts and lots of restaurants.
I loved our place at The Wren. It was everything I expected and more. The location was great, the shuttle service was great, the grounds were great, and the views of Vail from the balcony were great. The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I have zero complaints and will gladly stay here again next time I am in Vail.
We stayed at the Wren for the first time on a week visit to Vail and had an amazing stay! The shuttle for skiing is convenient and when going into town for dinner or shopping, it is a short walk along Gore Creek, which was very picturesque! The jacuzzis were nice and hit and the kids loved the heated pool, which was kept at a balmy 90-95 degrees!
This was super close to town for easy walking. Everything was great for us. Finding the office was the hardest part but that was probably user error. Staff was helpful.
Overall, we really enjoyed the Wren and we had no issues. The walk was a little more than we wanted, but that may be more of my age. They have their own timely shuttles which was nice. If you want to be closer, you have to pay for it. This was the best option for our budget. Everything was clean and I have nothing to complain about. We would definitely stay the again.
The condo was spacious and had everything needed to enjoy our stay. The view from the main room and balcony is terrific. We walked to Lift 1, which took about 15 minutes. This was fine and avoided waiting for a shuttle. Parking was covered. The shuttle is not convenient to Lift 1. When the pilot light went out on the fireplace, maintenance was super fast in relighting it. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Nice 1 BR/2 Bath condo overlooking the river and situated on the eastern edge of Vail Village. Walking distance to Golden Peak and Vail Village shops/restaurants. Condo was clean and comfortable with a well- stocked kitchen. Friendly and helpful staff. Sunday 5p shuttle to the grocery store was a bonus, as were the frequent morning skier shuttles to Golden Peak, Vail Transportation Center and Lionshead, along with afternoon return trips to the Wren.
A small suggestion would be to have a humidifier in the condo for use as needed.
The dirty laundry carts were always outside our door. The en suite bathroom toilet had difficulty flushing. The lighting in the same bathroom was very dim compared to the hall bath. The outlets in the bedroom and en suite bathroom would not hold a plug. I feel the cleaning fee was outrageous considering The Wren already has cleaning included with the normal timeshare annual fee. I will not pay this amount to stay here again. The staff at The Wren have always been outstanding, and this year was no exception.
We were walking distance to all the fun of vail village. Our view off the balcony was beautiful. The staff was very helpful with anything I needed even leading up to our trip. We would stay here again if and when we return!
We ended up enjoying our stay at The Wren, but the unit we received was not what was pictured in the listing. It was older and dated, but clean. There wasnât hand soap at any sink, nor any shampoo/conditioner/body wash, so we had to go buy that.
Aside from those pretty minor inconsistencies/inconveniences, the property was great. The staff for check-in/out were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for access to the walking path and especially to our event at Gerald Ford Amphitheater. Outside of using our car to buy the soap, we parked it in the reserved spot in the garage and were able to walk to every place we wanted to go for the weekend, including restaurants and bars.
