Fabulous stay in fun Manitowish getaway (+Pontoon)
Welcome to âMani Bay Chaletâ. This excellent Manitowish Waters cabin has been furnished to a great standard. Itâs the ideal retreat for a water-bound & adventure-filled stay, located on the Manitowish River between Rest and Stone lakes. We believe itâs the ultimate location to experience the area the way it should be. Get ready to get inspired! Settle in by zoning out with the whole family in a professionally cleaned home while you gaze over âOxbow Bay.â
Unfiltered fun for everyone!
This property is amazing all year round for a visit to the lakes.
The Manitowish Waters Chain O Lakes is an enjoyable trek for quiet water canoeists and kayakers. From its origin at
High Lake, the river flows for nearly 44 miles before joining with the Bear River to form the North Fork of the Flambeau River. The 20-mile section featured in this guide is nestled in the northwest corner of the 232,000-acre Northern Highlands-American Legion State Forest. Paddlers will find mostly flatwater with occasional riffles as you glide by open marsh and lush, northern lowland forest. A large number of sloughs provide excellent opportunities for exploration
and bird watching. One of the state's more popular canoe camping rivers is the river, with seven overnight camp areas spread out between Circle Lily Creek and the Bear River confluence.
The frequent wide-open spaces of the marshlands immediately surrounding the river make bird watching easy. Warblers, sparrows, finches, thrush, woodpeckers, wood ducks, and hooded mergansers, are just a few of the species that inhabit the riverway in summer. Eagles are also common; youâll occasionally see one of their massive nests in a tall pine near the river. Beaver and otter are often spotted, and youâll sometimes see: fisher, white-tailed deer, raccoon, red squirrel, and the occasional black bear. Our âMani Bay Chaletâ includes a sloped pursuit to the water where kids can play.
Manitowish Waters has a ten lake chain with several restaurants on the waters, free water
skiing shows, and concerts on the water.
Loads to do for all tastes, from outdoor adventures for local explorers to total isolation for those
who prefer the homely and the comfy!
Self-check-in with smart lock access
This superbly styled chalet makes for a perfectly comfortable getaway. Ideal for large groups of friends & family looking for the ultimate "outdoors" stay. Great for people looking for an exquisite Manitowish Waters home. Perfect if you want to be far, far away from any inner-city hustle and bustle. Comfortable, calm, and convenient. As we have space for work and superfast internet, we can even simulate your "home office" too. You know, if you absolutely have to get that report finished. For more active pursuits, hiking in this area is epic. There are several hiking/biking trails that take you on various magnificent nature adventures. If hiking is not your thing, you can picnic on the deck or seclude yourself there for some peace and quiet. We love to go that extra mile, so you feel like you are at home.
We uphold the highest standards in having our property cleaned by a professional cleaning company. We leave a broad period between each booking for you to feel extra secure regarding the property's cleanliness. We were always focused on spotless and clean, and in current times we increased this feature exponentially. Without a doubt, this place makes for a true "revival" for those in need of one. We are sure you will enjoy this home.
We'll supply you with:
- High-end bed Linen
- Towels
- Toiletries
- Fast & Free WiFi
- Free use of bikes, canoe, & Kayaks! (Available April through October)
- Free use of pontoon boat! (Available May through mid-October)
We guarantee a private stay. No sharing, no disturbances. To make sure you have the basics without having to leave the chalet to get them.
We have provided teas and coffee, so all that's left for you to do is relax and settle in after your journey. Or, if you prefer, you can enjoy a refreshing shower; we have stocked the bathrooms with gentle toiletries.
**Are you bring a boat or a trailer? You'll appreciate the horseshoe driveway with plenty of parking. No need to back up the 29 footers and room to navigate.**
