Rustic cabin located across drive from owner's home. Walk to the pool (cabana, grill, restrooms, outdoor shower), take a stroll in the field or enjoy the nature trails. The Trinity River where you can enjoy fishing or just the nature around you, is just a short distance from the cabin.
Pictures are not accurate. The place is not maintained. Someone from what we assume is the main house decided to blare music at 2:30 am. We paid for 2 nights and we could not stay the second night. My wife refused to stay the second night. The promised wifi cuts in and out so bad you can not watch anything on the TV. The gaps in windows were sealed with duct tape and that didn't help we still had to kill wasps before we could get comfortable.
Check in process was great and easy. Cabin itself was in poor condition and dirty. There were holes in the wall with toilet paper shoved in them. The bottom leg of the master bed collapsed twice. The toilet seat had what appeared to be a pube on it. There were several clumps of hair on the floor. Yellow jackets were nesting on the front porch, as well as wasp inside the cabin; 1 of which stung the person with me. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.
Pay no attention to the bad reviews, this place is amazing. Peaceful and relaxing. Michael and Angela were amazing hosts. Always in contact if you need something or had questions. We stayed an extra 2 nights, it was that amazing. I hated to leave.
