Warm sand and surf are just a short walk from charming Salty Seahorse Studio, complete with all the comforts of home and amazing ocean breezes from the expansive deck. After a fun day at the beach, rinse in the outdoor shower, relax in a hammock, watch tv or play a friendly game of darts or cornhole. Boasting a full gourmet kitchen and ideally located in the heart of Crystal Beach, the Salty Seahorse Studio is the perfect home base for your get-away to the sunny Texas Coast!
Comfortably furnished in lively beach hues, Salty Seahorse Studio has 2 queen beds and a full-sized sleeper-sofa, a 55" tv, DirectTV, Wifi, dvd player and an array of dvds and games. For your convenience there is a fully-enclosed outdoor shower and additional sink downstairs.
We love pets and recognize our four-legged friends create additional expense. Reservations including pets will be charged a $75 pet fee. We have a convenient fenced dog run. Please clean up after your pet!
Emerald Beach 2 is a quiet, colorful, beach-access neighborhood, minutes from the Big Store and lots wonderful restaurants.
Vehicles and golf carts are allowed on the beach and neighborhood streets. I recommend booking golf cart rentals well in advance of your stay.

Other things to note ~ Discounted golf cart is an available add-on. after booking. Message host for more information.Dogs are welcome, with restrictions. Please no more than 2. Cats NOT permitted. There will be a pet fee of $75. Please let us know if you will be bringing your dog.
Self check in anytime after 3pm. Check out by 11am.

Great place to stay!

My girlfriend and I had the best stay at the salty seahorse. The house was very nice and tidy and had an awesome deck. The location was perfect to the beach and local stores. We will definitely be coming back.

Great little get away

We had a great stay. The Salty Seahorse is exactly as pictured. Check in was easy and the house was super clean. Communication with the owner was organized, prompt, and clear. We cant wait to stay again.

Love everything about this cabin!

Everything is great! Great room, great kitchen, wonderful shower! Well decorated and everything works. Even has a washer and dryer and close to the beach. We will be back!

Checking in was a breeze. Everything you need is here at The Salty Seahorse. Clean and comfortable, quiet and quaint, this is a dream stay. From bathroom to kitchen, all rooms are supplied with your needs.

Just What We Needed

We are in the midst of wedding planning. We wanted to explore Crystal Beach as an option, but we also needed a weekend away. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, the comfortable space, and the board games. Our host was attentive to the few questions we had, and the location was great.

Salty Seahorse

We stayed here as our family vacation spot and enjoyed it so much! The house is conveniently located to the beach, big store,dollar general and many other stores. On arrival to the house we were able to tell it had just been cleaned well and was cool and comfortable. We enjoyed the books and movies provided. We would recommend this house especially to a small family wanting a beach getaway!!!

Great stay!

It was our first time to the Texas coast and we were pleased with the house. I think it would be the perfect spot if it had a hot tub. (just my opinion) Everything was as pictured and she even gave us a little extra time to check out because of a severe thunderstorm. Tia Juanitas restaurant was our favorite in the location, HIGHLY recommend!! Great house and lots of amenities for beach like chairs, canopy, fishing rods etc. If we do come back to the area we would stay here again. Thank you Jessica!

Great little house!

Great little house for small family! We highly enjoyed our time but one thing I do want to point out for work from home visitors that plan on working during your stay. Cell service and Wi-Fi was awful, so bad the cable was having a hard time and the trying to work on your phone much less on a tablet was not successful. We absolutely had a blast and loved our time at the house, it is perfect for a family of four! Would highly recommend the owners of the property look into a wifi extender or note this is your listing for future guest.
