Welcome to Wonder! Wonder is a fully restored, historic 3 story brick building located on Main St. in Honesdale! The first floor consists of an amazing new restaurant Native Honesdale where you can dine and drink in style, and the new bakery Be Kind bake shop so you can wake up to the best new fresh baked goods each morning. The loft is 1200' square feet and professionally designed and furnished by Samuelle Green. The loft can sleep up to 6 adults and offers modern design, 1 and a half bathrooms with walk in multi jet shower, full kitchen with concrete countertops and new appliances, 10' high ceilings, 1 queen bed, 2 queen size sleeper sofas, dining table and chairs, tv, wifi, and completely furnished with luxury linens, towels, utensils and more. Please know this is an open air loft. Bedroom and sleeping areas are separated only by curtains; therefore, there are no formal bedrooms.

Perfect!

This was such a great stay! The loft was just as described. Very clean, perfect location and very modern and nice. Great bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Just what we needed

Our stay at Wonder Honesdale was the perfect anniversary getaway, The pre-visit communication was excellent, the place was exactly as described, and it was clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything in town. If we ever make it back to Honesdale, we will definitely book a loft at Wonder.

Would Gladly Repeat

Easy and smooth check-in / check-out. Free gift certs for bakery and restaurant downstairs were a nice touch and both places were great. We were there for a quick weekend, so we were fine parking on the street, but the nearby parking was nice to have. Great location for hitting nearby Elk Mountain.

Easy and Comfortable

My husband and I had a great weekend stay. The apartment was clean, quiet, and check in was simple. We spent much of our time skiing at Elk but also enjoyed the convenient location. We had several nice meals, including the delicious restaurant downstairs and breakfast pastries from the bakery on the main floor of the building. We would defintely stay here again in the future.

Modern Loft in Charming Town

We were looking for a place to stay after a ski trip at Elk Mountain which is around 40 mins away. The loft was clean and spacious. There are 2 bathrooms, one room, and two pull out couches that can be separated into rooms with curtains. No dishwasher or oven (there is a toaster oven) for those planning on cooking a lot. Would stay here again for a short trip!

Hello and welcome to Wonder! I was born & raised in Honesdale, PA where our family has had roots since the mid 1800's. After Honesdale High School I received a Bachelors Degree from Penn State University, studied for a semester in Sevilla, Spain and from there I spent several years working in Marketing and Business Development Positions in Toronto, Ontario Canada, Southern California and the Northern tier of Mexico. In 2005 I decided to move home to Honesdale and join my Father at RE/MAX WAYNE in Honesdale, the business he and my Mother founded in 1993. Our Local Family Owned business has grown over the past 30 years & we now have 3 offices, in our region and my Father, Paul Meagher Sr., my wife, Heather and myself are the Broker/Owner/Team Leaders of all three offices. In 2006 our family revitalized the former Wayne County Ford Building and renovated and turned it into our Meagher Professional Offices. Over the years we have helped so many people in Honesdale and on Main St. with their real estate needs and we are actively involved in the community supporting various non profit and other volunteer organizations in the Honesdale Area. I love what I do and where I live and I'm happily married to my beautiful wife Heather and when I'm not working I enjoy being a father to my three children Sadie, Zachary & Jesse!

This building was sitting vacant for many years and after driving by it every day and seeing it falling into worse condition, I decided to take a risk and purchase the building to restore it. With the help of Samuelle Green, a high school friend, neighbor to Wonder, and amazing artist/designer/human, we were able develop the building into an amazing restaurant Native Honesdale, an awesome Bakery, Be Kind Bake House and lastly the 6 new luxury Wonder Lofts. It was a long road to get it completed but I'm so happy it has helped Main St. Honesdale and our area!

All lofts have google nest smart speakers with unlimited youtube music, free Netflix and other movie and local channels. Kitchens are fully equipped for cooking, baking, frying etc. Coffee/Tea is included and so much more.
