Nice Place

Good place close to Capitol district, ball field, concert venues, etc. A lot to do close by. Nothing fancy by any means but a perfect place to stay if you want to be close to plenty of entertainment.

Omaha zoo trip

Went as a family on zoo trip. Excellent location, located close to downtown and zoo. House is very clean with all the amenities that you need.

Mini Vacation

My family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights and were very happy with our stay! Checking in was a breeze! The house was very clean and so cute. The kids LOVED the stairs of course! Nick was very quick to respond to any questions I had! We have no complaints at all! If we are back in the area we will definitely stay there again!

Night in Omaha

We had just an overnight stay and we parked in back. Very late when we got there and very dark to try and get through an yard hat hadn’t been mowed and to see to get the things into the house. Also the neighborhood wasn’t in a very good part of town. However the homeowners were very responsive and was notified about the lawn the day after we left and said they would get lights out back. That would have made our stay more comfortable. The house has been updated very nicely and not bad for just an overnight stay.

family getaway

We enjoyed staying in this comfortable home close to Bemis Park and Creighton University. The handicap ramp and walk in shower were helpful for my husband who has mobility issues. Upstairs bedrooms presented a challenge but we managed well using the banisters.

Waste of Money

This property is clean. That is the only positive thing I can say. I am so disappointed in what was offered versus what I paid for. Don't waste your money here. We had issues with the thermostat, and Nick never responded to my message regarding it. We were all a little worried about the neighborhood, especially when on the "in case of emergency" the owner wrote about in case of a robbery........... very disturbing, but we had already paid a LOT for this place so we stayed. And I think it was odd that we were to start a load of laundry (towels) as well.....

Central, clean and spacious

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, which is especially important these days. Communication with and flexibility of the host and check in were all great. We were visiting family so the central location made it easy to get to lots of places quickly. The house is very spacious and kitchen well equipped for our needs. The parking spot and ramp (for stroller/walker/wheel chair access) were in the back of the house and when we arrived after dark a couple times we wished there was a larger security light. One of the nights there was a large raccoon running across the neighbor’s yard so additional light would have been helpful. We ended up using street parking and the front entrance at night and carrying the stroller up the stairs. The house looked a little run down on the outside but the inside has been renovated. The yard was not super well maintained making it less useful for the kids to play in. However there was a playground only a few blocks away and there were games, puzzles and drawing materials in the living room which were fun for the kids to use. It’s an old house so the staircase was very steep and slippery which was a bit nerve wracking with small kids also. However, that’s to be expected in an old house, I suppose, and all in all it was a good stay.

We are a married couple that has been living in Omaha since 2015. Nick is Slovenian, working as a lab supervisor (chemist) and renovating houses in his free time (I find it fun). Min is Chinese, and he has been working as a physical therapist for the last 5 years. We both love to travel, and usually, we travel outside of the USA once a year for at least 3 weeks, our goal is to make traveling a larger part of our lives in the future. And much more...
