Location, location, location! Nor'Easter sits on three lots on the north side of the Brady Point cul-de-sac, offering privacy, fantastic views, catamaran and kayak access, and the island's best sound-front, non-bulk-headed sailboard - all just two blocks from the beach! This large home was built with windsurfing in mind, but it is rapidly becoming a favorite with all vacationers who appreciate quality life along Avon's sound-front.

On the first level, you'll find a half-bathroom, a utility room, and a large locking storage area. On the second level are four spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, and shaded decking. The third floor is home to a large and comfortable living/dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a half-bathroom, juniper walls, a wet bar, and a screened porch with a four-to-six-person hot tub. In a class by itself, Nor'Easter is a one-of-a kind opportunity to slow down, kick back, and take in all that Hatteras has to offer.

You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking, which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

Please Note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open mid-May to mid-October, depending on weather.

Perfect view

Best view we have had at a beach house in a long time. Had everything we needed and very nice layout. House has a lot of potential and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Nice place needs updates

The location and view was great! A lot of families that stayed in the neighborhood had Kayaks, jet skis , paddle boards and fishing pools that they used right out back of the property. It was very clean. It could use some updates in the house, but it was comfortable.

Location is great...

The location is perfect right on the water. Amazing views from the deck and living room. The bad: roof leaks. Doors to the deck leak. Stairs are dangerous as there is not a real railing. 3 flights of stairs to get to the living room and kitchen. Beds are awful.

The house is great. Perfect location. Just simply put a new shower curtain up. It’s moldy. The shower doesn’t drain well. The drain needs to be cleaned out. I’m not talking about drano. That’s it. Great place. I’d go there again.

Great sunset views

This property has a great view and is the perfect location for wind sports - right on the sound and walkable to the ocean - but it is in desperate need of maintenance/attention. Deck chairs and spa cover are falling apart, some basic kitchen gear is lacking, and there is a lot of water damage in the kitchen and elsewhere. We would return for the location, but be prepared to bring even more supplies for kitchen use in particular.

The place was dirty and not in good condition. Cabinets doors were barely hanging on, there were holes in the linoleum floor that caused is to trip, cockroaches came out at night, and there were beer bottles and cigarette butts left out on the decks. The location is beautiful, but the house needs some serious repair and updating.

Lots of room for improvement

The location was great and that’s why we picked this particular Rental. However, we encountered many problems and lack of comfortability. There were no extra blankets or pillows. Hardly any decorations, all the furniture was old, dilapidated and clammy from years and years of use. The fridge leaked, the tub leaked, the toilet clogged and there was no soap in the bathrooms… So many things that could have easily been improved were overlooked, and not made a priority by the owner. on another note, the primary suite is located directly below the hot tub. Where you could hear every single door open and movement on the patio above you. if you have sleeping children, but still want to enjoy the night you can kiss your child because they will be awake listening to all the fun that’s happening right above them. The hot tub also clicked on and off all night long so if you’re a light sleeper, this place will keep you up alllll night long. Overall, a fine place to stay, definitely not 5 stars, it looks like somebody picked up in the 1990s and never came back. Literally.

Great location, but owners need to invest in this home

Thankful for our family vacation. Housekeeping was fine and house is in pretty good location. However, this is the saddest house we have rented through Hatteras realty. Maintenance was helpful and took care of a few items. It rained, one large living room window leaked a ton, poured down to bedroom below. The bunk mattresses are terrible, springs in back on all four of our boys. House needs new furniture and flooring throughout, so worn out and dirty. Ownership needs to fix up the house, long past due. House should cost far less in current state.

Ceiling leaked, was forced to sleep on air mattress

The only good things about this place are the views and location. Everything else was disappointing. When we got there the property seemed clean at first glance. The furniture is very dated, stained, and even some of the outdoor furniture was broken. The vinyl flooring in the kitchen area was nailed down in some areas, and had giant holes in other areas. Two of the kitchen cabinet doors were falling off the hinges. The pots and pans were dirty and rusty. There was a moldy high chair in the basement. Some of the windows are missing screens so you cannot open them. Parts of the deck need replaced. Many outlets need updating as plugs just fall right out of them. The light bulb on the porn above the hot tub was out and there was no way of reaching it to replace it. The hot tub itself was outdated and the blowers didn’t work. The pump kept running randomly and since the hot tub is placed on the deck directly above the master suite, be prepared for the noise and vibration at night when you’re trying to sleep. Also, the hot tub has caused the deck to kind of concave around it, so when it rains the water pools around the outside of the hot tub. This rainwater then seeps through the ceiling of the master suite, which caused our entire bed to be unusable as it was soaked by the time we found the leak. We were left with a bucket and an air mattress to sleep on for our last two nights. The house is in serious need of repair and updating. I am now fighting for compensation.

Lovely view, ideal launch site for windsurfing

The owners have improved the interior of Nor'Easter since our last visit. The air conditioning now works, as does the hot tub. The clothes dryer did not work. This is a unit in average condition situated on a wonderful waterfront site.

Bad experience

I was very excited to stay in this rental and the location does not disappoint. Unfortunately, the location couldn’t make up for other issues experienced. The biggest problem is that the home was not cleaned prior to our arrival. After notifying the realty company they said they would send a cleaning company the following day however no one showed. There were no further efforts on their part to have the house cleaned and responsiveness to my emails was spotty. I would expect a company that manages rentals to be more focused on maintaining cleanliness and working in a positive manner with their clientele but instead they were dismissive. I will not be renting a Hatteras Realty property again.

Beautiful View. Rundown Property.

Biggest complaint- air conditioner did not work in the level where the bedrooms were located. Despite numerous calls and emails to Hatteras Reality, i never received a call back and it was not fixed. It was 80 degrees in the master bedroom. Out of 3 windows, 1 didn’t have a screen and the screen door had massive holes so we couldn’t even open the windows without being eaten by bugs. The overhead fan was so loud we could not use it at night. And the garbage trucks come at 2:30 in the morning along with some kind of street cleaning truck coming in the middle of the night!! Sadly, it was the worst 4 nights of sleep we ever had and did not have a relaxing stay due to these issues.
