Awesome spot right on the water in Grand Case! Large unit fully appointed with what you need. Beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrella were included. Coffee, paper towels, water, a couple of beers, and a small bottle of rum were also included. I've stayed in Grand Case 8 times and this was my favorite spot so far. Only downside is that the back deck needs shade and there is none. Hopefully management will figure out a way to provide that.
We stayed for 10 days in Paradis Caraibes. While it is a two bedroom, it is a perfect stay for 2 people. Large master bedroom and bath. Great location. Steps to the beach and a short walk into Grand Case for restaurants, bars and shopping. While it is a little dated, everything was in good working order. Nice refrigerator, kitchen appliances, plates and silverware. Plenty of hot water. The patio was excellent.
Location is terrific, beautiful beach right outside the door, a short walk to a busy restaurant district. Really nice and roomy condo.
Could use a bit cosmetic freshening up, and we did lose power and wifi twice- but those were widespread outages, not tied to this unit or building specifically.
If you want to walk out the sliding glass door onto the property's deck and from there directly onto the beach, then this is the place for you. The apartment is nice and roomy, especially if just a couple, but would be great for a small family as well.
Our only "ding" was communicating with the owner and local property manager. As someone that just wants to relax on vacation, I felt like the onus was on us to figure out the check in and check out process which turned out to be pretty stressful as we assumed they would be more proactive in sorting out those details (figuring out how to access the property the night before departing for the island, figuring out how to check out moments before our taxi to the airport arrived - no communication from the local property manager, I had to chase him down and explain that the time he offered to collect the keys was after we would be gone from the property).
Don't want to end on a bad note, we loved the stay, just make sure you work out some of the access details ahead of time.
