I loved staying here! The cabin was cozy and location was perfect! Not too close to the busy areas but a short drive away! It was perfect!

Very interesting electrical. I’m an electrician and it all works but not very easy. The toaster catches bagels on fire. That was entertaining. Briefly. Bed was great although with it being in the 90’s in the daytime, I slept on the couch downstairs for two nights.

The cabin is lovely and perfect size for 3 people and our dogs. The dog friendly aspect of the property was the highlight-they loved the enclosed yard! It looks as it does in the photos, however, things like the carpet and furniture were a little dingy and could use some detailed care (for example one of the dining table chairs was broken and not useable). Our main suggestion would be to put more lighting and extension cords upstairs! There was an overhead light in the main bedroom that didnt work, even when plugged in, and only one light in the smaller bedroom. More places to be able to plug in phones, etc upstairs would make the stay excellent! I would recommend for a cute, cozy, and quiet dog friendly Big Bear cabin :)

Overall this was a nice little cabin and a great location. I loved that it was close to a coffee and donut shop & a very quick drive into town.I have never stayed at a rental before that made me dispose of my own trash which i found to be odd & did not see anywhere on the listing. I will say the garbage disposal site is a very quick drive-- only a couple minutes and also free.There was an issue with communication however because the host doesn't respond to messages through the vrbo app, only through email or a phone number thats only available during business hours. I had to call to receive the code for the door that I had not received for a couple hours after my check in time.The check in process was pretty extensive and was probably the most difficult part of my trip.The electrical did seem a little funky but worked ok. As for the layout, there are 2 beds but only one room is enclosed, the other has a curtain to separate it from the other bedroom. Also the bathroom is downstairs.There was a heater which was needed at night but unfortunately it was not powerful to heat the upstairs bedrooms much, which would make it very very cold in the wintertime. As well as no storage solution for any winter gear (jackets, skis, etc)I'd recommend this place for no more than 3 people!

Nice Big Bear Cabin

Everything was fine for my stay. The cabin was what you would expect for Big Bear. It isn't super nice or new but it is what you would expect for the price range. They check in process was really easy, so that is a plus. The only thing to be aware of is that this isn't really a two bedroom. There is one actually bedroom on the second floor and the loft is set up as the master bedroom, which is sort of partitioned off with a curtan. It was not a problem for me, but it does not really provide any privacy.
