Home was super clean and in a lovely neighborhood. We really enjoyed relaxing on the backyard patio after some long days helping our college student move in and out of apartments. The area is quiet and peaceful and has wonderful restaurants and a great grocery store nearby. Highly recommend!

Amazing home in a fantastic location. We had lots of room ( family of four with two teenage boys). The place was clean. The kitchen is well stocked. Having three bedrooms and two bathrooms was amazing. The four season porch was perfect for relaxing. The washer and dryer were easy to use. If we make it back to Boston, we will definitely try to get this lovely place in West Roxy. Susan was great to work and communicates quickly.

Communication was excellent. Kitchen completely equipped, especially coffee station. Only complaint was it was completely dark when arriving late at night. It has a motion light, but not helpful when you show up for the first time at night and you’re not familiar with the layout of the house and entrances. Otherwise great experience.

Wonderful Property for a Boston weekday baseball visit, out of the way of the hustle and bustle of being in the city. Great value and way better than being in a hotel room. Neighborhood vibe is great. Beautiful parks nearby as well. We Uber’d everywhere and was easy. Boston does have traffic tho we walked out to dinner several nights with less than a mile walk to great neighborhood spots. Very safe and very friendly neighborhood walks.

The host was very helpful when we had some concerns about things like towels, which she quickly took care of! We had trouble setting up the portable crib (it’s Babytrend brand, which we were unfamiliar with) and our 1 year old was not comfortable in it. But despite him our kids sleeping in the railroad bedroom, we managed not to wake them when we walked through it to leave the master bedroom. Great location, upstairs air conditioning was lovely, coffee machine worked great, good water pressure in the showers, and the door locks were very easy to use and understand. We couldn’t figure out how to get the TVs to work.

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing West End Deluxe. We’re glad you enjoyed the location, upstairs air conditioning, water pressure, coffee machine, and easy-to-use locks, and that we were able to quickly assist when you contacted us regarding the towels. We’re sorry to hear you experienced difficulty with the portable crib and TVs. These concerns were not brought to our attention during your stay, and we would have been happy to provide instructions or assistance right away had we known. We also want to clarify for future travelers that the walk-through/railroad-style bedroom layout is disclosed in our listing prior to booking so guests can review the configuration and determine whether it works well for their family. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to make every stay at West End Deluxe as comfortable and seamless as possible.

Lovely home! Very nicely kept and clean. But the layout of MBR and 2nd bedroom is not ideal. Upstairs floors make noises when walking on them.

Thank you for your feedback and for the kind words about the home being clean and well kept — we truly appreciate it. We understand that layout preferences can vary from guest to guest. While many of our previous guests and families have enjoyed the current bedroom setup, we appreciate you sharing your perspective. As for the upstairs floors, the home does have some natural character and charm that can include occasional creaking typical of many multi-level homes. Thank you again for staying with us and for taking the time to leave a review.

Overall it was a great stay for our week in Boston the last week of October 2026!A few things to note: The house does have central heat and is operated by a thermostat on the wall in the living room. It does not have central air but each room has a window unit if you need AC. There is a nice driveway to park in that will lead you around a small garage and up to the back door where you can enter the home easily. You can use the front door as well but there's not a walk way to the front from the driveway. All of the bedrooms are upstairs. None are downstairs. There is one bathroom upstairs and one bath downstairs. 2 bedrooms connect and you walk thru one to get to the other. The house is approx. 15-20 minute walk to the commuter rail line that you can take into the city. It costs 6.50 for one-way (13.00 roundtrip) depending on where you go. Once you arrive at a station, if you still need to transfer to a subway train to get your closest stop, it will cost you one 2.40-ticket to transfer to the subway system. You can buy the commuter rail ticket on the MBTA app but the subway ticket is purchased at a kiosk at the station. We did this several days and had no issues at all - We walked everywhere most days;the surrounding area is residential and quiet even after dark. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Lots of retail and restaurants nearby which was great on a couple of nights that we just wanted to eat at the house instead of going into downtown Boston. Lovely area home!!

Very large bedrooms for an older home! Kitchen /dining / living room plus office made a spacious first floor. A great bonus was screened porch- we loved watching the bunnies in backyard. A beautiful and shaded patio looked inviting- though we were too busy to use it. Window air unit in living room( and all bedrooms) kept it cool in spite of record temps- we hosted 5 family members (10 total) for a World Cup match and they all fit on chairs and sectional- our sons had rented another unit in which living room had been made into bedroom so they had no spot for gathering; this home only sleeps 6 but lives larger! Host was so attentive! Thanks, A

We were very pleased with the location and house, super clean, cute, and room to spread out! Overall A. About the only comment is for guests to realize the main bathroom has to go through one of the secondary bedrooms to reach the hallway and upstairs bathroom (and stairs). It was not a deal-breaker for us but just wanted to point that out if it matters to others.
