The Emerald Club's blends rustic Tahoe décor with modern luxury, creating a cozy yet upscale atmosphere. The four bedrooms and four bathrooms make it ideal for families that want their own space while still enjoying time together.

The entry level of this home features a beautifully designed kitchen and spacious dining area, perfect for family meals and gatherings. The living area boasts impressive soaring ceilings and rich wood floors crafted from reclaimed timber over a century old. Cozy sofas invite relaxation, while a gas fireplace adds warmth and ambiance. Get together on the deck and enjoy the outdoor fireplace or quietly gaze up at the stars and tall trees. One of the queen suites is also on this level of the home that opens up onto the deck as well.

There are two suites on the second floor, each with their own staircase and entry points on either side of the main floor below. Both sides feature a bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom. The fourth bedroom is above the detached garage and just a few steps outside from the main house.

Located in an exceptionally quiet neighborhood, this is the perfect retreat for those looking for a peaceful mountain escape. This is not a party house, and we ask that any rental guests please respect the neighbors and keep noise to a minimum.

PROPERTY NOTES
* We provide a starting supply of toilet paper, paper towel, and laundry detergent, but recommend bringing extra for longer stays.
* We do not provide shampoo / conditioner / or body wash although there could be some left from previous guests.
* We recommend 4 x 4, AWD, or carrying snow chains in the winter months.
* There is no air conditioning in this rental.
*There is no hot tub

* Max Occupancy: 8 adults 12 and over. Children under 12 are exempt.
* Parking is limited to 4 vehicles. 2 garage, 2 exterior. The driveway is small and there is no street parking for additional or oversized vehicles. All cars must fit entirely in the driveway.
* Quiet Hours: 9PM - 8AM
* Fines for violations range from $1,500 - $5,000

Great place to stay

The house was very unique. The owner put a lot of care into making it as cozy as it was. The speakers were fun to play music on, the hot tub was great, and the giant fire place kept us warm. The bedrooms have these shutters into the great room. It was easy to hear everything downstairs from the upstairs rooms. Overall great time.

Work Trip

Overall, it was good. No major complaints. The downfalls are the following. Deck was recently stained so was very sticky, hot tub was not very clean, yard was non existent, parking was really tight. We loved the stereo throughout, and the fact the bbq worked and was clean.

Great spacious house located next to a playground!

We loved how spacious this house is. The rooms did not feel like we were all on top of each other. The kitchen and living area are attached so it was cooking was never lonely! The private room above the garage is perfect for anyone who wants a little more privacy. The only bummer was the deck was not really usable for relaxing by the fire because of all of the ice and snow and the hot tub is basically a 2 person tub. So not a lot of deck time was able to happen. Everything felt really clean and everything worked!

Great Cozy Cabin in Homewood!

Some of our guests arrived early and saw the manager, Jim. Jim let them arrive a couple hours early which worked out great for them since some of our flights were arriving early and check in was at 4pm. The cabin, it was exactly as described in the listing. Although the photos in the website make it appear to be much larger it was perfect for the 9 of us. The room over the detached garage was really cute and allowed for the couple that goes to bed early not be bothered by the rest of us staying up late playing dice games! The beds were very comfortable, even the single beds located at the top of the stairways were great too! The fire place (indoor/outdoor) worked perfectly along with the hot tub on the deck! I would definitely recommend this place for people that have a large group because all four (4) bedrooms have the on suite and made it that much more comfortable to share the cabin with!

We were not able to use the 4th bedroom over garage but we were compensated for the loss of the space. has the basics for appliances but coffee pot was struggling! great decor and story behind it. Little tricky with the bear fence and all but we figured it out.

Great spot!

Amazing location and fun house with a group of 10. It’s very intimate and the patio was nice. My only feedback is that the lighting was pretty dim, there weren’t any beach towels and I wish there was a small yarde especially for 10 ppl. Overall though great spot glad we booked! The host was accommodating which I appreciated

Charming Cabin

Clean, comfortable and cute! The family room and kitchen are a little smaller than they look in the pictures, but there's still plenty of room. Big refrigerator! And all the bedrooms are much BIGGER than they look in the pictures - that was nice. Centrally located for easy access to Tahoe City and Sunnyside to the north as well as Eagle Rock and Emerald Bay to the south. The neighborhood is very serious about noise after hours. If you are staying with a chatty group of night owls, this may not be the property for you. Also, I was there during one of the hottest weeks of the year, so I think the property could use a few more fans as well as some screen doors leading to the deck - so you could leave those big doors open at night and keep the bugs out. But rest assured, we enjoyed our stay and were very grateful for the use of the Emerald Cabin!

Emerald Cabin

This was a perfect place for us to stay with a family group. The couple with small children stayed in the unit over the garage so they would have a quiet place for the kids to nap and sleep. The kids loved the stairs and the little cubbie areas. The cabin was also near a nice neighborhood trail system that we explored. Negatives: The shower in the first floor bedroom was leaking and the spa got cloudy during our stay. Also, the rugs in the kitchen could be a trip hazard. But overall, it was a great place and we would recommend it to friends.

A great cabin for a group of board gamers

Had a great time, played board games and enjoyed the locations beauty. Quite a serene location, but close to everything. Looking forward to another trip to this cabin.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location and plenty of room for our crowd. There wasn’t any hand soap at the sinks, and there were cobwebs on the ceiling. Our bed upstairs was uncomfortable. And the other upstairs bedroom window was stuck open. Overall, it’s a great house.

Family Getaway

The house is wonderful! Great location and setup for multiple couples and those working remotely. WiFi handled all of us without issue. Property Manager was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic house!!!

We had a phenomenal time at the house! It was just as advertised- and we really enjoyed the hot tub, grill, and indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Also the studio above the garage worked out really well for those who wanted more privacy. Our only note was that some of the sheets/comforters were a little dirty but everything was great otherwise! I would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend this house to others hoping to have a fun and relaxing vacation. This house also was fairly close to Squaw Valley which was convenient.
