Newly built Lakehouse surrounded by pristine forest on beautiful Kawkawa Lake. Sleeps up to 12 with 5 bedroom and 3 bathrooms. Stunning views overlooking the lake and mountains of Hope, BC. Come relax with the whole family and enjoy the private sandy beach (across the road) with private dock and deck.
Kitchen and great room open onto the deck. Huge 30' x 12' vaulted covered deck above with another patio below. Kids game loft and rec room with TV/DVD. AC and filtered tap water. Satellite TV and Wifi included. Firepit and BBQ on site. Grass lawn and plenty of parking.
Professionally detailed cleaning/sanitizing following each guest stay.
Great fishing and swimming. Private beach is down the driveway, across the road. Plenty of nearby activities including hiking, skiing, golfing, lakes, rivers, and bike park.
Summer weeklong rentals book from Friday to Friday.

We had such a great stay! We have stayed often at this property and absolutely love it. There is so much space for our group, the house is very clean and has everything you need. The view of the lake is so pretty in the fall. We can wait to stay again!

Great stay!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. The property is gorgeous and the lake is amazing. The house is very spacious and the amenities were fantastic too. Would definitely recommend.

The accommodation was perfect, spacious and comfortable for 9 friends who love to hike. The host was attentive and helpful. We loved our stay and will certainly be back.

Relaxing trip with 3 couples

This is one of the most incredible properties we have ever stayed at. It was the perfect place to relax. The private jetty made for a incredible days on the lake and it was also a good base for hiking around the area.

Kawkawa Lake Family Getaway

Beautiful home and perfect for families or large groups. Very private and beautiful surroundings. The quick three minute walk to a private swimming dock and beach across the road was lovey. Great accommodations and very relaxing. Looking forward to returning again.

Weekend away with amazing ladies

We had a wonderful weekend away! The house was fairly accessible, wide stairs, wide doors with a large ensuite bathroom. Short trip down to the lake, with a wonderful private beach !

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had an amazing stay. We were looking for a getaway close to the city but far enough away to feel like we went somewhere. House was perfect for 10 people, comfortable beds and kitchen very well equipped. Othello Tunnels were a short drive away for a beautiful fall walk and we enjoyed another afternoon at the lake using the kayaks. We would definitely come back one day!

Great place!

We absolutely love this house! We are a group of ladies that get together twice a year and cannot say enough great things about the house. The views are incredible and love the easy access to the beach. The house has everything you need and is always very clean. Rob is also great to deal with. Can't wait for our next stay!

Amazing!

We just spent 3 nights at the Lakehouse and were blown away! It was everything we had hoped for and more. We are six childhood friends who are seniors now and look for getaway spots to just relax and recharge. This house was perfect and now we want to make it an annual holiday!!

Fantastic

This home is spectacular. Exceptional views of the lake and mountain, comfortable beds, and a huge well stocked kitchen make this home perfect for family gatherings. We also kayaked on the lake and could not have been happier. The host was responsive and the town is only minutes away. Best experience ever. thank you Rob.

Amazing Stay

This property was perfect for our family getaway. It was the most well equipped and beautiful rental home I've ever booked. From cooking supplies, to games, to outdoor activities, we did not need to leave the property the whole time we were there. The pictures don't do the property justice, and the view is stunning in person. Rob was a great host as well and answered any questions that I had promptly. Would highly recommend to anybody.

Fabulous Lakehouse

This rental is terrific. I/we didn't find a single thing wrong with this place. Very clean, well maintained and the views are stunning. We were a group of 8ppl and found it spacious with lots of room to move around and plenty of spaces for alone time as well. Rob is an easy going host who always got right back to me whenever I messaged him. We look forward to going back. Thanks again Rob!

The property itself was beautiful, stunning views, soft linens, comfortable bedding, and a fully stocked kitchen. It’s in a great location and was overall a lovely space to stay in.Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this property because of how the host handled things after checkout. On the day we left, the host texted my personal phone (outside the VRBO app) asking if we had taken a TV remote. I explained that we hadn’t, but offered to cover the cost if it couldn’t be found. Despite that, the host continued sending messages expressing frustration about replacing the remote, which felt inappropriate and uncomfortable.Later, I was surprised to find a 250 charge applied through VRBO for alleged damages and extra cleaning that did not occur. None of these claims were supported by any evidence, and the property was left exactly as the checkout instructions requested. I’ve also been disappointed to learn that VRBO allows charges like this to go through without verifying proof.It’s unfortunate because the home itself is wonderful, but the experience with the host and the lack of oversight by VRBO made what should have been a great stay stressful and unfair.

Great house

Nice house for a large group of people. Well appointed and in a very beautiful location. The view of the lake from the house is lovely. There are plenty of places to relax and get some alone time even in a group. The private beach was nice and the kids had fun in the kayaks. The following comments are not criticism, just more information for future guests. We had a couple of people with health issues in our party that had challenges. Accessibility notes: This house could be difficult to navigate for those with mobility issues. You must be able to climb stairs. One bathroom has a shower, but the other two have modern soaking tubs with very high sides and no grab bars. The lake access is very steep and it may be difficult or impossible for some people to get to the lake. The house has air conditioning in the main areas only. It was hot on our visit and the upstairs bedrooms were hot and stuffy even with doors open. I recommend bringing a fan if this is an issue for anyone in your party. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this rental.

Gorgeous house and location

We booked this property for a big family get together over Thanksgiving. Wow! What a gorgeous house and location. We were 12 total and there was ample room for everyone. The private beach access was a short 5 min walk away and absolutely stunning. Our host Rob was kind and easy to talk to, very helpful answering questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Great house on the hill

The house is great for bigger groups. Very open-concept livingroom, kitchen and covered patio with a fantastic view. The area feels private and it is really close to town. The walk from the house to the lake is a bit longer than expected (5 minutes) - Down a steep driveway, along a road (100m around a blind corner with no shoulder), then down another sizable hill. Pack a day-bag before heading down the hill. We were a bachelor party of 12 men in their early thirties. We were relatively laid-back and responsible given the group size and type. Yet, we had a neighbour report us to fish & wildlife for "killing birds and turtles" ??? Despite being the perfect houseguests we were still victim of a nosey NIMBY. Otherwise, perfect stay and would come again.

Perfect setting for a family event
