The space Red Barn Guest house on five acres with a 12 acre shared lake! Currently we do not have horses or chickens. (So enjoy the fresh mountain air) Very quiet & peaceful area of Canton Ga
Great location and convenient to a lot of things. Easy check in and the cabin had lots of little things that helped us with our stay. We will be staying again.
Great location - near downtown but definitely a quiet getaway in the country.
Wish we had more time to enjoy the serenity of the setting, but our schedule was full of downtown plans. Would love to book again for just walking the property or just sitting down by the fire pit.
Lovely setting!
We rented this cute place for our mother and her husband for Christmas as they recently moved out of town. It was a great way to have a place to celebrate Christmas with our 3 families and gave them a place to spend Christmas Eve while we were with other family.
Had a great experience at the barn. The hosts, Artina and Jeff, were wonderful and even went as far as leaving us a little gift to celebrate our wedding! Such kind and wonderful people. We felt very safe at the barn and it was so cozy. We are so glad we got to stay and hope to stay again in the future.
My husband and I stayed at this property the weekend of our wedding and we had a wonderful experience. Tina and Jeff were so accommodating, answered all of our questions, and even took the time to decorate the space special for our weekend.
The barn is clean, well maintained, and cute as heck. They were incredibly generous with their property and fantastic hosts. We will absolutely be back.
Thank you!
The barn quarters were very nice and had no complaints. But the lake was off limits and it was not as secluded as the pics and description led us to believe. We like to have something to do at the venue and there really wasnt.
My adult son and I stayed for a night. The barn is part of a lovely property with the homeowner next door. These are in a neighborhood of llovely homes and estates. The sweet converted barn is a sweet spot for a couple, , but for people who meet to share in a group some will have to share a blow up bed or a cot. And primacy might be an issue since bathroom and bed are closed off with curtains only. The hostess was lovely! And we had a wonderful time!
We had a technical issue with VRBO and weâre unable to access the property. That being said, the owner did everything within her power to fix the issue and issued a refund when the problem was unable to be resolved
I asked about the bed based on a prior review. Was told "sinking issue" was resolved. I'm 5'4, 130lbs. I sank in the bed. Not happy with that. The couch is essentially unusable due to wear/deterioration. Only a stove for warming food. The smoke detector went off every time I used it. I had to clean the fridge upon arrival to put my food in it. I also had to clean the bathroom sink (man whiskers around faucet handles, ick). The can opener does not work...and I can bend it. There are squirrels doing renovations in the attack space next to the bedroom (I think). I would say the decor is "garage sale chic'".
I did bring my own coffee maker. A toaster would have been nice. A micowave would eliminate the stove issue. Not big splurges in my opinion.
The good: The price is reasonable. The location and surroundings are excellent. Check in process was efficient. Privacy complete. I wanted to stay here bi-monthly for work, but it just too rustic.
I think this could be a very lovely place to stay if more effort was put into the furnishings and decor.
My mom and I were visiting Canton for a family gathering. The barn is rustic and we enjoyed are stay. We saw a mom deer and her baby. The bed room and bathroom are upstairs. Living room and kitchen downstairs. Everything you needed was there. Including a washer and dryer. No microwave but there is a toaster oven. Had alittle trouble accessing the door lock because after you put the code you must push the lock button for it to unlock.
A few minor things there was a smell when we first walked in like it was musty. Of course it was a barn below and a room is built over a stable . We bought some air fresher and that seemed to take care of the issue. The outside porch could be cleaned up alittle and the two planters are wornout that sit there. We didnt see a grill at all. Did see an outdoor pit but we didn't use it
Someone parked right outside while we were staying there and accessed the garage that connects to the barn while we there. They eventually moved there vehicle. You can't view the lake unless you step behind the residents home which we didn't do and there is no access to the lake. So the porch view up top of the barn is the road out front. Not much to look at except for the house being built across the street. The sofa and bed are not firm so if you like soft you will be sure to love it. The subdivision is nice lots of trees and nice homes. The host were great. We appreciate you letting us stay.
The decor and theme was nice, however, there were some negatives about the space. The cookware looked very worn and some sticky and dirty with residue on it. There was black mold growing on the ceiling in the shower and the shower lining and curtain were dirty. The space could use some touch up paint and new towels and rags. Bedroom and bedding nice and clean. Comfy couch and nice balcony upstairs. The hosts were great and very responsive.
Wouldnât book on VRBO again but would rent again from another site. Host was very helpful, place was nice, needed a few more towels/ wash cloths, couch also mattress was uncomfortable, and scenery was beautiful. Overall nice place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay. Very cute rustic barnuminium. The owner nicely accommodated our request for an early arrival. It is only one bedroom and a little bit smaller than what I thought it would be. They did have an inflatable bed and a comfy couch. We were able to sleep four. There is no microwave or kettle. Only a Keurig make sure to bring coffee cups. My only complaint is the bed was not very comfortable and seemed to be well worn. There was no support in the middle and it sunk down. I would stay here again if the bed was replaced. Plus a kettle would be nice for tea drinkers like myself.
What a lovely place! Just as described and pictures were spot on! So comfy and quiet, loved hearing the rain on the roof and little meows in the morning.
Very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. We loved our visits from the dogs! Hoping we can stay again on our next visit.
