for everyone to relax and unwind! Lazy Bear is located close to Bear Mountain Resort, the new
Big Bear Zoo and the Moonridge downtown is only .5 mile walk or bike.

Covid Info 2/4/21- current date 2021- We are still permitted to allow guests into our home. Outdoor activities are operating (lift tickets purchase online, limited availability). Restaurants are only takeout or delivery. There are a few extra restrictions.
1-Groceries should be purchased at your local store prior to traveling. This will reduce the strain on our community.
2-Absolutely no parties.
3-Please follow and respect guidelines set regarding social distancing and masks.
4-Spa hours are 7A-10P (we don't like it either, but its a restriction placed upon us.)
Violation of the restrictions will result in eviction without refund.
Our strict cancellation policy is still in affect. Any cancellations requesting full refund, will need to provide proper documentation to the hosting site(SavvyBears, Airbnb, Vrbo). We will NOT cancel your reservation for you.
All requests to change date, must be done a minimum of 14 days before your stay. Prices may change due to change of date.
If you instant book, you assume responsibility that all restrictions will be followed. We will not be responsible for any eviction, fine, or inconvenience due to disregarding the restrictions placed for Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City.

Chalet with open floor plan and all new modern décor! 20ft vaulted wood ceilings and a floor to
ceiling brick fireplace in the living room. A full sized washer, dryer and central heating. All
bedding will be provided along with bath towels.
Bedroom 1: First floor. Queen Bed and Smart Tv
Bedroom 2: Second floor. King Bed, Twin Bed
Loft: Futon
We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton balls, cotton swabs and floss picks. Hand
towels and make up towels will also be provided. The bath towels are not for lake use, please
bring extra for the lake.
Bathroom: First floor. Shower/tub combo, 2 sinks.
Living Room: Open to kitchen. 3 seater couch, love seat and armed chair. Natural wood burning
stove. Smart TV, books, puzzles and lots of games!
Kitchen: Full sized fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and crockpot. Fully
stocked with all utensils, cookware and dishware. The kitchen features a breakfast bar with 4
high-top chairs as well as a dining room table that seats 6.
Deck: Outdoor dining table seats 6, BBQ grill and hot tub. Hot Tub hours 7A-10P per city.
Parking: Driveway parking for up to 3 vehicles.
You will have access to the whole house, minus one owners closet (don’t worry you aren’t
missing out on anything).
We will leave you to enjoy Big Bear, unless any issues arise. We are almost always available to
contact. Please use the messaging option. These messages get sent to our whole team and is
the fastest way to get a hold of us.

There is one outdoor security camera. This is there for your safety and the safety of our home
when no one is there. This camera does not see into the cabin at all.
Big Bear Lake/City requires an additional 11% for vacation rentals. It is sent directly to the city of Big Bear Lake.
Cleaning fee- $140
Covers basic cleaning, laundering of linens, and hot tub cleaning. This does not cover if trash is left behind. It is a unique custom in Big Bear trash drop off is free. If you choose not to bring all trash to the refuse, there will be a $25 charge per bag the cleaners must take to the site. We apologize for the inconvenience.
It also does not cover if traveling with a pet that pees in the house. We charge a per spot cleaning fee of $30. We bring a steam cleaner with special cleaner for any pet stains, it does take time. If your pet is not neutered, spayed, or tends to mark territory please be on alert. Also charges will accrue if poop is not picked up from yard. Pets that shed excessively will be charged extra cleaning fee. We do our best to provide a safe environment for pets. However it is your responsibility to ensure their safety during your stay.
Refundable deposit $300
Check in as early as 4pm. Check out is 10am. Please be prompt. The cleaner occasionally shows up exactly at check out. There will be an extra $100 fee if they arrive and must wait or come back. They will not knock, or enter the property until it is vacated due to safety.
Please note in winter months: The roads are plowed regularly, but you may need 4x4 vehicle and chains. We are not responsible for any weather related travel issues. There are 3 routes to Big Bear.
Thomas is very diligent about the snow removal during winter months. You will most likely run into him during your stay. They are non invasive, quick, and courteous.
Steve & Brandon, maintain our hot tub after each and every guest. Be mindful of lotions, oils, and dirt when entering the spa. Excessive use or abuse will result in a drain, clean, an refill fee. Spa hours 7A-10P per city
Reminder- This is the mountains. We do our best to control what we can. We spray and leave bait for pests, do our best to prevent rodents, and remove weeds throughout the year. Most of our homes do have sap producing trees.

Occupancy (7 including children and infants) and car limit (2) are set by the city. They will enforce theses. If found to have more than we are licensed for, you may be evicted with no refund. So please adhere to these limitations.

Trash pick up day is Thursday. If staying on a Wednesday, please place bin street side.
Entry into home-Big Bear requires their Good Neighbor Policy to be signed prior to gaining access to the home. The person booking the home MUST sign, no exceptions. Declining to sign will result in no access to the home, & cancellation of reservation with no refund. GNP can be found in our listing along with the break down of our agreement. Agreement is sent in a link for virtual signature in welcome message.
Code will be sent day of check in. Once the home is ready or at 4pm, whichever is first.

If traveling in winter, we highly suggest purchasing trip insurance! We have a strict cancellation policy and will stand by it. Winter months can be challenging with snow, ice, road closures, and other things. Cover yourself by purchasing the trip insurance.
No refund will be made for cancellation due to weather, road conditions, acts of nature, mechanical failures, electrical failures or malfunctions with spas, TVs or other equipment, or for sighting of insects, rodents, or other animals. No refunds will be made for circumstances beyond the Homeowner’s control. Rescheduling is allowed if all roads have been closed into the area for 24 hours of check in time. Chains are often required and should be always carried. They may be needed to get in or out of Big Bear or your rental.
Pets-We allow 2 dogs at this property. No other types of animals are allowed. there is no extra pet fee unless damage or cleaning issues arise from them.
Cleaning Fee- non negotiable. This covers clean linens, cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, floors, basic care of the home, and spa chemical balance. This does not cover left trash, excessive messes, and cleaning all dirty dishes. The home has deeper clean items that happen 2-3x a year.
Spa-is maintained after every guest. The cleaning fee covers basic chemical balancing. This does NOT cover if the spa is misused, resulting in a drain and refill. Best practice is rinse off before entering spa, no drinks in spa. Bodily fluid is the quickest way for the spa to need a drain and fill.
