Fairplay is a great mountain town and this location is perfect to enjoy the coffee/winery/restaurants and explore the town- nice and cozy too! The kids absolutely loved the loft
This tiny home in Fairplay was the perfect place for our group of 3 adults to spend a night and prep to summit Mt Sherman the next morning. Definitely snug, but has everything you need. Also close to gas and groceries!
Beautiful home and check in process was very easy. Clear and easy communication with the owner and perfect for our trip. Absolutely wonderful and would definitely book again!
Wish there were a small couch with 4 TV trays instead of a table and 4 chairs. Not really conducive to watching any TV. Maybe a small shelf on the bathroom wall to put a makeup or toiletries bag since tge counter has no room. Every thing else was fine.
Always wanted to stay in a tiny house and this didnt disapoint. Was quite spacious and had everything one needs. The bedroom in the loft requires one to crawl over but since there was a bed on the ground level, i never bothered to use it. The area itself was a nice combination of other tiny homes and campground like facilities. Its about a mile from Front Street where theres a few decent restaurants and bars. Highly recommend the distillery.
Only recommendation id make for the host is a hook near the shower so one can hang a towel. Stay was great. Only about 30 min to Breck and Buena Vista if want to check out some bigger towns
We had a blast in this tiny home. The loft was great to hang out in and this place had everything you could need. It was also impressively well insulated. The surrounding area was stunning.
Pros- Fluffy clean towels, basic spices plus oil, coffee and filters, a couple snacks, decent bedding, propane grill
Cons- Itâs a camper covered in pine. It is bouncy. The entire place shakes when the washing machine is on. The layout is not comfortable . No sofa and barely enough room for the little wood chairs. Lots of signs telling you to âdo the dishesâ, âno food or drink on the loftâ (Where are you suppose to relax with a snack?). And the absolute worse is the RV toilet and itâs accompanied sign telling you how to flush and if you donât do it correctly you will be charged $250!
This tiny house was just what we needed for our stay. The host were very communicative. Definitely will be back when in the area. The home had everything we needed.
Quiet, cozy, well appointed, comfortable. Conveniently located in the heart of an area chock full of opportunities for hiking and scenic driving. Easy to contact host who is very nice and responds quickly. The place where the tiny house is located is a small development full of a mix of tiny homes and RVs. Neighborhood very quiet and people respectful. I would not hesitate to stay there again! Very reasonably priced, and an all around great place to stay. Plus, it was a great introduction to tiny house/RV park living, which I found suited me well. Many thanks to the host for the great hospitality and affordable stay. Only problem was leavingâ I didnât want to!!
