It means a lot to us that you noticed how well stocked the cabin is, as we truly try to think of everything our guests might need to feel comfortable during their stay. I did want to add a little context for future guests regarding a couple of your notes. The indoor pool you mentioned is the only heated pool in the resort, which is why it’s about a 15-minute drive. There are actually two additional outdoor pools that are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and those are just a few minutes from the cabin. As for fishing, we’re lucky to have direct river access right from the backyard. There is a winding set of stairs down to the river, which offers a peaceful spot to fish and enjoy the water, though we understand that everyone’s experience can vary depending on conditions and comfort with the terrain. We really appreciate you choosing our cabin and are so happy you had an overall amazing stay—we’d love to host you again!

We understand about the stairs to the river — they can seem a bit steep, but we built them with four landings spaced out to make the walk easier and to offer spots to pause and take in the beautiful Coosawattee River views (and maybe catch the geese flying by!). Love your idea about adding a swing for morning coffee — that sounds perfect. We truly appreciate your feedback and would love to host you again!

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay, we always welcome our guests to help with the opportunity to improve. We would have loved the opportunity to address the hot tub issue during your stay, however we were not made aware of the issue until your review. As a way of maximizing space we do not have a dressing chair in the rooms, however several chairs and stools are available for your use however you deem appropriate, Unfortunately regarding your displeasure with being on a mountain, as described in the listing and seen in the pictures this beautiful cabin is in the mountains and offers amazing views of both the river and mountains. Best of both Worlds.
