30A Vacay

We had been to this area before earlier this year and three years ago. We thought we would be closer to the beach so that was the only downside the house itself was set up beautifully and had lots of space and lots of towels in the pool was really nice. The only downside to the whole vacation was the fact that it rained almost every day and rained a lot so it affected beach time, but that has nothing to do with this property. The neighborhood is very quiet and like I said before, the only downside is, it’s not nearer to the beach

Diamond in the Rough

We booked this property when our usual was not available on the week we traditionally go. The pictures do NOT do this property justice. I was so pleasantly surprised, and THIS is now our go-to property. It was sparkling clean, the beds were comfortable, the pool was actually COOL at the end of June (and screened in so no bugs), and the property is PRIVATE. It is fully fenced in and is on a more mature street. Not even half the houses on this street were vacation homes. The golf cart was integral to beach parking (and was fully gassed up and ready to go). The cherry on top was the new kayak launch area about 2 houses down. It was sparkling new and so easy to access. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this property is. The management team was also extremely responsive to any questions. 5 stars.Only recommendation--make sure to buy trash bags and extra toilet paper. One roll was provided for each bathroom and there was only one trash bag in the kitchen trash can. We arrived early and went shopping before getting to the property, so didn't realize we needed to pick those up. DEFINITELY stay at this property!

Great house, not so great listing

Overall, the property is very nice; felt extremely welcoming. Clean pool, clean beds, unfortunately not-so-clean dishes. Not a ton, but things such as multiple pieces of cookware and utensils were found with food/residue from the previous guest. Also, be sure to check ahead about golf cart usage and pool heating, as we were told after check-in the were additional costs not included in the listing, or were out of season. If some of these were made more clear in the listing, or the small things looked over more closely, would be a 10/10 stay.

This is our 4th year vacationing in the area. The house was clean. Close enough to the beach access. Very close to the lake - although when we asked for the code to the kayaks we were told we couldn't use them? Even though there were life jackets specifically for that purpose, and the house description mentions kayaking. Only thing I would mention is that there was a very musty/wet dog smell upon arrival. We determined it was from the several rugs laid out throughout the house. We placed them in the garage during our stay, which seemed to do the trick.Pool heat worked great. Beds were comfy. Golf cart and bikes were nice to have available for use.Overall it was a nice stay.

Quiet block, great pool, golf cart!

This is our second year visiting 30a during spring break and this house didn’t disappoint. The pool is perfect for two active kids. The Golf cart that came free with the house was great for getting to the beach and shuttling around 30a. The location of the house was ideal, close to the beach and just far enough from the busier parts of 30a. It’s on a quiet street and just the right size for 4 adults and 2 children. It was super easy communicating with the owners. They were able to answer questions and solve problems in real time.

Beach Bungalow 30a was a perfect vacation home!

Beach Bungalow 30a was the PERFECT vacation home! This house is nestled in a quiet neighborhood where you don’t hear the hustle and bustle but yet close enough to great shopping and eateries. The house had everything we needed. The heated pool was AMAZING and the golf cart added some extra fun to our vacation! Matt and Claire were always quick with responses to any questions that we had and even messaged us the day we were set to arrive letting us know that the house was ready earlier than our 4:00 check in time and we could check in anytime. This gave us an extra 3 hours to get settled on our first day at the beach which was so appreciated! If you want a wonderful home with great hosts this is the house to book. Family and friends summer fun!

We loved working with Claire and Matt! The house was so cute and perfect for us (parents), our 2 teens and their 2 friends. Everything was spotless upon our arrival and just as the photos showed. Leading up to our stay, Claire was very quick to help with any question I had. This was the first time we had a pool out our rental home and it was THE BEST! Coming in from a hot day at the beach we all jumped in to cool off and continue our time hanging out. You will love this home for your vacation.

Amazing vacation, beautiful home

What a fabulous week we had at the beach. From the moment we arrived and the kids discovered our own private pool and a bunk bed room they were in heaven. Being able to swim and not be attacked by bugs was the best. We didn’t realize how much the enclosed pool would matter. The beach is closer than we thought, each day we packed up the golf cart and dropped everyone off at the beach entrance while my husband then went and parked a block down the street. We spent the first half of the day at the beach, then got cleaned up to explore a nearby town and swam in evenings at the house. The house is gorgeous, clean and comfortable. We felt at home and slept well. Mornings with coffee on the screened porch were peaceful as we listened to birds and watched the squirrels. The yard is a tropical oasis. We did bring some board games to enjoy in evenings. A few evenings we grilled and the remainder we ate out or did takeout. Our favorite restaurant was La Crema in Rosemary Beach. We enjoyed exploring Seaside, the Big Chill and also chartered a private kids fishing experience. Perfect location and home that our family of four loved. Definitely could have had more guests, maybe grandparents or another small family. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Best week ever!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home ! We loved the location . Loved being so close to the big chill/hub. The home was so clean and spacious. It was so nice being close to the ocean then coming home for a swim in the pool. Also, the backyard is just stunning ! We loved the screened in porch , and spent several mornings reading out there. The house is a 10 out of 10 for us .

Outstanding!

The only thing better than this property are the owners. Amazing home and truly attentive management made this a perfect stay for our party of 5. Very quiet on a dead end yet close to the things we enjoy. Pool was fantastic and the golf cart was fun and easy to get around. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a carefree VRBO experience. Definitely tops my list. Thanks Claire and Matt! Hope to see you again soon.

Nice stay but some changes could make it even better

Some communication issues before and upon arrival that I felt could have been handled better. There was quite a bit of noise from next door construction that we were not informed about before our stay. Pool was too cold to use, unfortunately, but I understand this will be fixed for next Spring. Bathroom cleanliness in master shower needs work, there seems to be mold in the corners. Master bed was extremely uncomfortable and caves into the middle. That bed should really be replaced with something firmer. Outside areas on the property (front and back porch areas) need some professional pest control for ants and spiders. Front door has a large window and no curtain. We covered it with a pillow case after a passerby looked in at us from the street. I would recommend installing a curtain for privacy there. I appreciated the grill being available with propane, but it had food left on the grates from the previous visitor and we had to scrub it before use. Dishes were good and I really liked having a blender available. We ended up buying a fry pan at the store for our own use because the only pans available were Teflon coated. I recommend upgrading the Teflon cookware to quality steel and look into the health issues surrounding Teflon. For the price of the rental, and location, I really expected higher-end cookware. Need some good utensils for food prep also, and maybe add a new pair of scissors too. The biggest inconvenience was the lack of towels and wash cloths for our stay. There was only 3 white wash clothes to share amongst the 3 us, just a few more bath towels, and 2 makeup wash cloths. We had to wash laundry every single day since all 3 of us like to shower daily, and sometimes we want to shower/rinse after going to the beach. Also, please add more kitchen towels. I really appreciated there being coffee filters, parchment paper, storage containers, soaps, and a fresh dish sponge. Maybe add a spice rack and include some standards there. Most people travelling don't want to pack everything to bring along. Overall I think it was nice, better than a hotel for sure, but some changes could make this place 5 star. I would stay again if the construction was finished and amenities were improved a little. Check out time is very early as we get 12 noon checkout from most nicer hotels. It is rough having to pack up and get out before 10 AM checkout. We planned to leave early anyway, but not having to rush would have made it more relaxing. Thank you.

Perfect Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful vacation here! The house was beautiful, spotless, and in a wonderful location with all amenities needed/wanted. Claire went above and beyond to accommodate and requests or questions we had. My family and I would definitely return to this property and could not have had a more perfect vacation!

Great spot for families on 30a

The house is super clean and very recently redone. Access to a great beach is right up the street. The pool is nice too — a good mix of shade and sun through the day. The golf cart was super fun to drive around. There’s also a newer grill and tons of spots to chill out around the house. The beds are comfy. The towels are soft. The owners are highly organized. What else do you need? We had a great time! One small thing is that the barn door on the kid’s bedroom stops short of closing by a couple inches. Looks like an easy fix by removing a stopper bolt at the end of the track it slides on, which is capped off anyway. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

A very special, quiet dead end street in the center of it all! 30a's white sand beaches & a rare coastal dune lake right out your door step is amazing! Camp Creek Lake Dock & Kayak/Canoe launch are right outside the door! The yard is full of massive live oaks, palmettos, palms & ferns, just a true tropical paradise. The yard and pool are completely fenced & private & absolutely wonderful at night! Stare at the moon, listen to the waves! The yard comes alive and is well lit for added ambiance and safety. The neighborhood and street are the best on 30a! Massive live oaks line the quiet dead end street with very few rentals.

The location offers a quiet, dead-end street lined with massive live oaks covered in moss, you can hear the Gulf waves crash, see the lake through the trees, or enjoy a paddle from the dock at the lake to the sand dunes and directly to the beach. You are only 2 homes away from 30a, but feel like you are away from it all. This coveted location is a hidden gem with some of the most special properties on 30a. This special location is rarely available to vacationers and rental guests.
