We rented this house for an annual reunion with our adult kids and their families, We were all very comfortable. Note that the air conditioning worked great! The kitchen was good for preparing meals. Our grandkids enjoyed the games. The outdoor area was beautiful and secluded. Probably the only thing we slightly disliked was having to back down the driveway onto the street, but there was plenty of parking. We had a great time - thank you.
Meghan was a great host and was quick to answer any questions we had. The residential area was a great home base and the home had lots of room to stretch out and relax.
So much fun was had here. Such a cute, quirky place with something to do for everyone! Great location, great host and hospitality, great atmosphere! 10/10 recommend.
The house is a very cool twist on a detached garage conversion. The weather was not great when we were there, but if it was nice outside, it has wonderful outdoor entertainment areas.
The neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed our stay and will consider this location again in the future.
We rented this place with the sole purpose of hosting an family BBQ on the great patios and grassy areas. Unfortunately it was 100+ temps and high humidity. Luckily this has an open space and we catered Javis Tacos ( local place) and hosted a great party! We were comfortable and because we rented the other on site house we had plenty of room and use of all the parking. Very safe and secure which made us feel safe with our visit in Omaha. We would definitely rent this property again.
We were excited to stay at this cool concept property but ultimately my family was a bit disappointed. It is good to know that there are really only 3 separate bedrooms. The front queen is separated from the king room by a sliding door so it does not have complete privacy. Also the property does sit on a slope so the dining room table, entry way sitting area along with the king/queen shared bedroom all sit on an angle. This caused challenges for my elderly parents. The air hockey table does not work and the outdoor areas were not tidy when we visited. If you need specific items for cooking in the kitchen best to bring them with you.
The bathrooms are well stocked and were clean.
Overall, the experience was just okay. We imagine it is at its fuller potential in the warmer months.
My family really enjoyed the set-up and it was great for us to spend time together. The house was well-stocked with all kinds of things we might need including kids toys. Thanks so much! We need to come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor spaces that look amazing!
We had a team retreat at this property this past weekend and it was the absolute perfect location! Meghan was amazing to work with. She communicated well, checked in with us, responded to questions super quickly and went above and beyond to help us have everything we could possibly need! It is decorated beautifully and has so many thoughtful amenities including toiletries and even a stocked coffee bar for your morning cup of caffeine! We will definitely be back for our next retreat!
Perfect home for a family getaway - the kids loved all of the activities on site, and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the property.
Meghan was very easy to work with and helpful with to-do ideas. Definitely recommend and canât wait to go back!
This property is a dream. The house has a spacious, well-furnished interior, and the large yard has several comfortable patios and seating areas. Great location, also: It's about 15 minutes from Eppley, a mile from Benson, and minutes to mid-town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
I am a traveler, foodie, lover of art and a mom. I love uncovering a great restaurant or art gallery in any new town that I travel to. I grew up in the antique world with parents that owned antique stores and eventually found I had a love of finding the unusual.
Buffalo Hallow offers a very large industrial-farmhouse feel with high ceilings. The space is great for large family gatherings and workshops. The front space allows you to expand into the outdoors where there is a huge front patio, a side patio and plenty of seating and serving areas. At the top of the hill is a volley ball court and huge entertaining area with two fire pits just waiting for late night smores.
