Perfect little casita. Close to Buckskin Gulch, Cottonwood Canyon, and Page AZ. The dark skies were perfect for stargazing. Joe, the host, was extremely helpful and accommodating, he even met us after midnight to let us in. Will definitely try to stay here again.
Really nice location! Spectacular views, isolated and quiet. Near all our favorite places to hike. Casita is comfortable with everything we needed. Clean, well-maintained and tastefully decorated. Host Joe is friendly, accommodating, and easy to contact.
Excellent Casita remote and quiet, even though good accessible. Perfect as starting point for Paria Canyon, the wave and cottonwood canyon.Host is super nice and helpful. We had a great time there.
We had a great stay at the casita! It was furnished with everything that we needed, including books, games, and maps and brochures for surrounding activities. The owner was very gracious and met us when we arrived. He provided helpful suggestions for exploring the area.
the property features and amenities were as listed, everything we used worked properly, Property Manager checked to make everything OK, and provided tips how to set heating system to keep comfortable.
Joe was an absolute gem of a host on one of the legs of our 11 day hiking trip. He was kind enough to meet up with us to escort us to the casita in the dark. We ended up getting stuck in traffic for 2 hours during a snow storm which caused us to arrive much later than originally planned. He gave us a thorough tour and rundown of the home and stayed in contact during the entirety of our stay. Heâs working on a vineyard next door. As a gardener, I enjoyed admiring it during my sunrise walks.
I somehow won a permit for The Wave on my first try for the actual day or my birthday and we had that and part of Buckskin Gulch planned to make for one long birthday adventure. The casita itself was within 30 minutes from the trailhead, which was fantastic considering we were planning a pre-sunrise start and probably wouldnât return until sunset. There isnât much nearby for supplies, so plan to bring in groceries and anything else you may need.
If youâre looking for quiet and seclusion with desert views for days, Joeâs casita is what youâre looking for!
The proximity to the Wave hike, the privacy and quiet, the amazing night sky, the comfortable and well equipped casita, and Joe's friendliness and hospitality made for a perfect getaway. Highly recommend.
Joe is a great host and we enjoyed our 2nd stay at the casita! Great location to the wave and buckskin gulch area!! Iâm sure we will be back if we are in the area again.
The location is very private but the view is marked on the map by a camera. People stop along the highway to photograph this place but you canât see them and they canât see you. Strategically placed so you have the best view without being exposed to other people. Many famous trailheads less than 15 miles from this great location! Donât know how this house is so clean while being in a arid environment. My allergies improved while staying here.
We had a wunderful stay in this cozy house. We enjoyed the great view and the quietness. Joe was a very helpful and caring host. If we ever come back in this region we would defenitly stay at the Paria Sage Casitas again.
We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Paria Sage. The casita is really cute. Joe was very helpful with the surrounding area. We had a great visit and would love to come back!
This casita is adorable! Very clean. Joe is a great host. You would never find the rental without his guidance! The stars in the evening are phenomenal as there are no lights for miles! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Joe even helped us with a car problem!
My financeĂš and I were very impressed with this place and location. The home was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The host was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend this stay to anyone. Thank you Joe for being such a great host!
I actually stayed here because it is a half mile away from where my brother lives, and is much closer than Page or Kanab.
Joe was very helpful at check-in. Unfortunately for him, most people aren't familiar with how to navigate dirt roads so he typically will need to meet you on the highway and have you follow to find the property about a quarter mile in. So just be responsive to Joe's messages and have an idea of when you will arrive so that Joe can accommodate your arrival.
The Casita (little house) is great; but as Joe admitted, if the temperature is above 105, the two wall AC units will not be sufficient to cool the entire house during the day. It is, however, well equipped to provide heating if needed.
Full Kitchen, Outdoor Propane Grill on outdoor deck, and Indoor Dining Area were all great!
The location of this property, makes it ideal for my annual visit to family who live up the canyon. It was nice to be able to grill out on the deck and host my brothers in the comfortable dining room.
We selected this casita due to it's close proximity to the Vermillion Cliffs Monument, which it was. The other benefits were the privacy/isolation from city lights and the desert landscape we came to visit. There was plenty of room for the two of us and everything you'd need for a simple, easy, home away from home. Joe, the owner, was a wealth of knowledge about the area, and even picked some fresh asparagus from his nearby vineyard for us.
Loved the location for the Wave hike and other attractions in the area. Being located off the main highway a little ways gave it a sense of remoteness and privacy. Our manager was awesome and very attentive. It's the first time we have got a tour of the accommodation. Joe also told about the surrounding area. We loved the stay and will be back again!
