The Lincoln Street Cottage was built in 1900. It has been lovingly remodeled and restored. The majority of the artwork displayed was created by St. Augustine artists. In the master bedroom is a beautiful oak sleigh bed, and the master bath is oversized with tall mirrors and a large walk-in shower. This house is a 5-minute walk to the St. George Street attractions or a 5-minute drive to the beaches. Age 25 and over, please.
The house was EXTREMELY clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were nice. We didnât use anything in the kitchen except the refrigerator, so I cannot make a comment about that. The location was not the best for us. We were hoping to be able to walk to the historic district. The Fish Camp restaurant IS within walking distance, and it was GREAT! Iâm not really sure why the review asks about the beach view. We knew going in that we werenât at the beach. Because bowl games were being played, a larger, more user-friendly TV in the living room would have been appreciated, but certainly that wasnât a strike against the house.
Cute house. Good location, walkable to downtown if you wear comfy shoes! Had everything we needed. Host was responsive when we needed them. Definitely recommend.
The cottage was beautifully remodeled. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the dressers for clothes so we didnât have to live out of a suitcase. The master bath was large and the walk in shower the best Iâve experienced in a vacation rental. The kitchen was easy to work in and I loved the cookware while making breakfasts and Christmas dinner. The location was excellent and close to The Crab Shack and The ice plant restaurants and bar. We loved walking through the Lincolnville historic neighborhood. This lovely place made our 4 day visit was the Festival Of lights perfect. We would definitely stay there again.
We loved the Lincoln Street cottage. My husband and I brought his 92 year old mother to St Augustine to see the Nights of Lights. We stayed two nights. The first night, we walked from the cottage to the downtown area to do the Nights of Lights Trolley Tour; my husband pushed his mother in a Transport Chair. Our second night, my husband and I walked around the neighborhood and then to the downtown area to look at lights. My mother-in-law stayed in the master bedroom. It looked very nice...and the bathroom was huge. My husband and I stayed in the second bedroom next to the kitchen; The second bathroom was not connected to the bedroom. I brought night lights that I plugged in so we could see our way in the dark at night to the bathroom. The staircase to the upstairs room/loft was blocked off. We would have loved to have seen that room. When we arrived, my husband immediately walked into the staircase from the kitchen. He had a knot in his head for several days. We placed a chair under the area where he hit his head on the staircase. We placed a red piece of material on the staircase, also.We loved the cottage and would definitely stay again. There is a For Sale sign out front; and per Zillow, the cottage is For Sale. Nice for the owner, but not for us.Thank you.
This cottage was perfect for our weekend birthday getaway with friends. Very clean and comfortable. Convenient location to everything. You must try The Fish House. It was very good and within walking distance. We would stay again for sure.
An adorable cottage located in a great area and close downtown. There were no checkout instructions and I never heard back from the host. I took out the trash and placed the linens by the washer. I have a medium sized vehicle and found the parking to be really narrow. I'd stay again.
This house was super clean and worked very well for 2 couples. Appreciated the 2 off street parking spaces. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms spacious. Would have liked some tourist brochures or maps placed in the house. Would definitely rent again.
This VRBO was a delightful find! The small home was charming, impeccably clean, and had a great TV for winding down after a busy day. Its location was incredibly convenient: a mere two-minute walk to a fantastic fish restaurant (a definite highlight!), and just a 10 Uber ride to all the downtown attractions. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple seeking a cozy and well-located base. Highly recommended!
