Amazing and would definitely book again
This property was just what we needed easily accessible to the fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools and the tram. We enjoyed walks in the morning and walks in in the evening around the property, and it was spacious for the number of people who stayed. The property also had bikes that we enjoyed riding and games that we played when the weather wasn’t favorable for the beach.

Great townhouse
Location near the gym and tram stop was great for our family with 2 teenage boys. Rear screened in porch looks out over a lovely wooded area. Remodeled kitchen and bathrooms are very nice. Master bedroom and bedroom with bunk beds could use mattress upgrades. We would choose this unit again.

Gym and Tram
We love that we could walk to the gym. My children love riding the tram. My family loves the ease of riding bikes everywhere. There is lots to do. Food places are super yummy to eat at. This was our 5th year in a row and I think we will be continuing our beach vacations here in the years to come. Thank you.

Nice place/location with a few exceptions
Nice townhome but updates needed especially to master bedroom/bedding (dark and heavy), very dated/not coastal-a new comforter would add value. Kitchen was well stocked. Needs some extra attention to cleaning especially patio and possibly new filter on air system (feedback was given to rental company/pics sent). Good experience overall - would book again but hope to see some minor updates made.

Property and Area were fantastic! Size of house for 9 people was great. Only downside was the cleanliness when we arrived. Things were not cleaned. People before us left garbage everywhere and beds weren’t all cleaned and redone. We contacted the management company and they sent out cleaning people to fix that. Garbage was still left under beds and couches, that was supposed to be renters responsibility before us, but we ended up cleaning up after them.

Great location and nice amenities
Nice space to spread out with a large group. 1 block to tram to beach and rec center and large pool. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking often. Upgraded bathrooms were very nice. But if you have small kids fyi there is now only a Japanese soaking tub inside a normal bath. Upholstery and rugs could use a deep clean. Blinds and lamps also needed dusting. TVs and internet worked well. There were beach chairs and accessories available to use, which listing doesn't describe. All beds were pretty comfortable except double bed in the bunk bed room.

Great Location and Updated Bathrooms
Great location by the Fitness Center! A tram stop is close by and the pickleball courts are not too far away. The updated baths were a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Unit!
Been coming to Sea Colony for over a decade, this is a lovely unit with many upgrades and extras . Everything is in top condition and comfortable. Really appreciated being able to borrow all the beach equipment, bikes, and other supplies. Definitely will rent again and recommend to others.

Avoid Sea Colony and ResortQuest during COVID-19
We rented this place in June 2020 and loved the townhome. After our experience, we would definitely NOT recommend it due to poor property management (SeaQuest) and unsafe social conditions during COVID-19 (Sea Colony).
In brief: the next door neighbor’s dog wailed/barked in pain for several hours during the day for three of the four days we were there and could be heard in every room. The incessant, merciless wailing sounded like animal abuse and disrupted child naps and work phone calls. We could not use the entire property in those three days and made multiple requests to ResortQuest to give us a reduction on our rate. ResortQuest refused to make this situation right, saying it was all “out of their control”. Recommend avoid doing business with ResortQuest.
The townhome is great but poorly marketed in the vrbo summary: it has many benefits (e.g., one bike, beach chairs, paddling tools) not identified in summary. It was very clean. It had a white carpet with no sand or dirt stains—highly unusual for a beach rental. The owner deserves kudos and better than this 1-star review. It made us sad to prepare this summary.
When we arrived the dish disposal was broken. We informed the management company but decided not to get it fixed during our stay due to COVID-19. We would have hoped this would have been checked as operational before our arrival, but ResortQuest didn’t. By the end of our stay, food particles bubbles up whenever we ran the kitchen faucet.
Also, the home is 1-mile from the beach, and (as of June 2020) Sea Colony is only running one open-air shuttle at 50% capacity (28 people max). Sea Colony has not opened up more beach parking. Your only options are (1) biking or (2) a long walk to beach with many maskless passerby’s.
Sadly, we recommend avoid. And ResortQuest management was inept.

Thank you for taking the time to review your June stay. We value your feedback and sincerely apologize that your stay was not as you had hoped. This was a very challenging summer due to Covid and all that goes along with that. Sea Colony did it's best to open as many amenities as they could with limited staffing and Covid restrictions at play. This included fewer shuttles with reduced capacity due to the restrictions. While we do sympathize with the issue with the dog, if it was not a rental property that we had control over, the only thing we could do was to report it to security and ask them to follow up. It would be the same situation if this occurred at your own home with a neighbor. It is super annoying but our hands are tied to some degree.
We would like to catch all issues ahead of time but the disposal did get past us and we did offer to send someone to resolve the problem. Our techs would be wearing masks and gloves and wipe down any surface they touch before leaving; We are sorry you declined this service.
We are happy to hear that you found this property very clean and a great fit for your family. We so sincerely apologize as your comfort and satisfactions is very important to us. Everyone experienced their share of challenges during this pandemic and we hope at some point in time you will give us another opportunity to provide you with a much better experience on your next visit to our area. .
