Had a great week with my daughter's and grand children. The location is amazing direct beach access. Amazing sunrises and sunsets. House is beautiful. I would recommend to anyone.

Our stay at The Pleasant View is truly pleasant with an awesome view. The property is as advertised, right on the beach. The house has all the necessary amenities. There are easy groceries and nice restaurants nearby. Our hostess Lynn is very responsive. We'll be visiting again.

Exceeds All Expectations!

The Pleasant View is one amazing property! Lynn and Kent have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and homey. The living room has stylish, comfortable furniture. The beds are also quite comfortable and linens are soft. There’s every amenity you could possibly need. There’s even a wine fridge, in addition to the bigger fridge and freezer. Outside is just as comfortable as inside. The view from the deck is spectacular, especially at sunrise and sunset. Wonderful gas grill for BBQ’ing.Lynn and Kent are extremely responsive with any questions or concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pleasant View and hope to be back again soon . We hated to leave!

We recently stayed at the pleasant view and we had a great time! The view was beautiful! Only steps from the beach! Lynn was great and very responsive. Will definitely book again!

Very Impressive Property and Location

This is a very impressive property. The check-in process was flawless, the facility was very clean with all of the amenities we needed and the location was incredible. One of the best trips yet.

Perfect Getaway

You can't ask for a better house to stay at with friends. There's plenty of space for sleeping and the walk out deck to the beach was such a treat. We hope to stay here again next year!

Home Away From Home

We found this place to be perfect for our seaside getaway at the end of August. The first floor is a wide open kitchen-dining-living area that allowed us to be together for preparing and sharing the daily meals. It also has full laundry and a half bath for added convenience. The second floor has two large bedrooms and a beautiful full bath, which was all we needed for our party of 2 couples. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed as far as pots, pan, plates, cups, glassware, etc., etc. and had a large refrigerator along with a separate beverage/wine cooler. There is a grocery store only a few minutes away so we shopped almost daily based on what we wanted for the next day or two. The property manager Lynn was on site for our arrival and was available at a moment’s notice although we fortunately did not have any emergencies that required her attention. It was quite hot during our first few days and the window A/C units kept it very comfortable throughout the entire home. We were a little concerned with the houses being so close together that noise and commotion might be an issue. It definitely was not. Everyone was very neighborly and it was a very peaceful, quiet spot at all times of the day and night. All in all a great spot to get away, relax, and unwind with all of the comforts of home.

A perfect gathering place for family and friends - you will not want to leave!

The Pleasant View accommodated our party of 7 people (2 families) for 7 nights perfectly. The primary bedroom with all of the windows and balcony overlooking the beach is very spacious and the early morning light streaming in is perfect for early risers. The second bedroom is smaller but still comfortable, and with the window open, you can hear the ocean. The open third floor with 4 twin beds and half bath is perfect for older teenagers/young adults - it was nice for them to have their own space where they could stay up late and sleep in without anyone else coming and going through that space. The beds are all comfortable. Plenty of closet space. The washer and dryer were very useful to have. We loved the large, open concept living area on the main floor - you can cook, visit with everyone else, and have views of the ocean and the sounds of the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with more than enough cookware and utensils, plenty of plates and glassware, and tons of flatware. Lots of space for food storage if you want to have breakfasts and lunches in. We ended up cooking several dinners in and getting take out because the view from the dining table on the balcony was better than any restaurant. It is nice and shady around dinner time and it was such a pleasure to spend the evening there. The two half baths plus the one full bath was plenty for the 7 of us. The house was very clean when we arrived, and the propety manager, Lynn, was very helpful with check in. She checked in with us a few times during the course of our stay and immediately answered any texts I sent, providing recommendations for restaurants, shops, things to do, etc. She recommended a fishing charter which the kids loved. We had a very nice conversation when she stopped in to check on us - she is very warm and accommodating. We would happily return to this property without hesitation.

Beautiful view!

This is a property with a private parking space that has a perfect ocean view. An outside deck with steps down to a sandy beach. We loved our stay. The property manager was communicative and helpful. We would stay here again for sure!

Beautiful beach house. Very clean and the view was priceless.

We had a wonderful time. The property manager was very helpful and easy to reach. The house was clean as were the beds and towels. The only complaint is too many people sharing the same stairs to the beach. Too many dogs on the beach .

Awesome rental! Exactly as advertised!

Some lifelong friends and I were looking for a beach location to have a mini-reunion of sorts. We cast a wide net on VRBO to find the ideal location. When we saw the photos and reviews of this property, we felt confident our search was over. Every single aspect of this trip met or exceeded our expectations. The communication with the owner / manager couldn't have been better or any more clear. Their attention to detail is second to none. Each one of us had an amazing trip, and one that we'll be talking about for many years to come. I highly recommend this property.

Simply Amazing

From the moment we booked, the process was straightforward, the communication from Lynn, the property manager, was exceptional and the home was exactly as described and appears in pictures. The location can’t be beat. We ate lunch and dinner outside several times at the outdoor dining table, spent the morning drinking coffee on the deck listening to the waves and of course did some beach walking and sunbathing every day. My husband and I are triathletes and brought out tri bikes and had plenty of places to safely ride and run. The ocean is cool but given the warm days, we appreciated the water temp being cooler. The beach was not overly crowded and people were very friendly! We had such a great time that we are hoping to be here more and more in the future. Thanks to Lynn for her responsiveness, fun style and for helping us have a fantastic week at the beach in this amazing beach house.

Great Family vacation, Directly on the Beach

Our family of 5 had a wonderful few day vacation at this beach house in Plymouth. From the property manager to the property itself to the surrounding area, we have nothing but positive things to say. Here are some highlights: Lynn the property manager: She was very accommodating and prompt with getting back to us about questions we had from the minute we emailed her with our interest in staying here. She was always pleasant and never bothered by our questions. She went above and beyond what we expected. Helping us with ideas for what to do in the area, supplying us with age appropriate games for the kids, and meeting us on the first day to give us the run down of the house are just a few examples of this. She also introduced us to Jim, the owner, who was just as welcoming and made us feel at home in his home. The House: The house was depicted accurately online in pictures and description. It suited our family's needs perfectly. It was VERY CLEAN. Everything we needed was there: high quality kitchen supplies, beach and sand toys for kids, outdoor patio and beach furniture, towels, etc. Literally just pack your clothes and your food. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The kids loved sleeping in the twin beds on the 3rd floor, such a treat for them to have their own space. Wifi and electronics were all excellent. Beach and area: House is on the beach as shown. Short walk to the house from the parking lot but not a big deal at all. Plenty of beach even at high tide. Water was calm most of the time. Some small rocks at high tide and our toddler wore her water shoes for that, but at low tide, tons of sandbars that went way out. Neighbors around this house were all friendly and welcoming. FYI: If you have a baby or toddler just know there is no bathtub. Large shower with 2 shower heads so all 3 of our kids just showered together and the 2 year old got to take her first showers! Narrow and winding staircase to 3rd floor was challenging for the 2 year old to climb without assistance. We made some great family memories on this vacation and hope to rent this home again sometime!

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

It was our first time here. Lynn was a wonderful host, and was available immediately for any questions I had throughout the whole process. The home was gorgeous, clean and directly in the beach. It was the perfect beach house for our family getaway!!

The best location on the ocean

This is a piece of heaven on earth! We have been blessed to be able to stay here many times over the last five years. The ocean view cannot be beat. There is plenty of room for 8 people. He first floor is open concept with a fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining area. It is clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this beautiful home as a perfect location for a perfect week at the beach!

Très bon choix !

Grande superficie, très propre, très bien équipée, tout y est ! Matelas un peu usés mais tout de même confortables. Très bien situé, directement sur la plage et à 5 min de Plymouth downtown. Plage: Un peu de roche et d'algue mais rien comparativement à ce que nous avions connu à Truro, Cape Cod. On peut être nu pieds. Assez longues pour de belles marches le jour comme le soir. Super pour les enfants, surtout lors de la basse marée. Soirées animées sur la plage, avec feux, feux d'artifice et lanternes (avec les voisins que l'on avait, peu dépendre selon ceux qui louent). Plus difficile si vous voulez dormir à 21h. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et répondent très rapidement s'il y a quoi que ce soit. Ils ont un autre petit cottage juste derrière. Stationnement un peu loin pour porter les valises (2 min), mais un inconvénient que pour l'arrivée et le départ. On y retournerait assurément !
