Welcome to the premier resort on the Delaware/Maryland coast, where you will find something for everyone to enjoy - from pristine surf and sand to unmatched amenities.

Come and relax on the spacious oceanfront balcony, which features a fantastic view of the beach and ocean, where dolphins play and an occasional whale is seen. Take in the sounds of the rolling surf, the beach, and the action of the Promenade.

In Edgewater House, enjoy the in-building swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness center, convenience store, and deli. Have endless fun and entertainment without leaving your beach house! Awaken to the sound of breaking waves, grab a cup of coffee, and watch the sun rise out of the sea from the expansive 26-foot balcony with a superb ocean view. Enjoy the ambiance, convenience, and safety of being right on the beach.

After a day on the beach, catch your favorite shows on three TVs, including a 65-inch TV and entertainment system (65-inch LG 4K smart TV and Sonos Amp speaker) with streaming capabilities and a sound system distributed throughout the condo. You'll be happy to have Netflix (included), Nintendo Wii gaming system, Blu-ray player, and a closet full of puzzles, games, DVDs, and movies. For conference calls or private conversations, access to a small private office with a work desk and chair and the included high-speed WiFi and Ethernet connections will make it easy for remote workers, students, and gamers.

Your beach house is outfitted with GE Profile kitchen appliances and a complete complement of cooking tools and utensils.

**Sea Colony will have ongoing construction from September through May. There will be construction noise that may be heard in the surrounding homes. Please be aware that this may be loud at times.

Sea Colony Parking Passes
Sea Colony parking passes are issued based on the number of guest badges purchased per unit. Each unit is allowed a maximum of 2 parking passes per rental period.
1-2 Badges = 1 Parking Pass
3+ Badges = 2 Parking Passes

Additional features include a roll-in/out shower (with collapsible threshold), thermostatically controlled shower faucets, handheld shower heads, shower grab bars, threshold-free bathroom ingress and egress, and four elevators from the lobby/beach and parking/indoor pool levels to this third-floor condo.

Things to Know
Amenity passes must be purchased to access the amenities and for parking. Each vacation rental is allowed a maximum of 2 parking passes per rental period. 1-2 Badges = 1 Parking Pass. 3+ Badges = 2 Parking Passes.
Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.
The Sea Colony Recreational Association requires a per-person resort fee for guests ages 4 and older. This fee varies by time of year and is mandatory.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Fantastic experience! Beautiful place!

Our group loved staying in this clean and beautifully decorated condo! Balcony overlooking the ocean was nice and wide, and the view spectacular! FYI: The assigned parking spot is outside, not in the covered lot. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need! Being on the third floor, make it very easy to come and go without a long elevator wait! Our trip to sea colony was delightful- and I wish I were still there! :) see you next summer!

Amazing View

Overall we enjoyed our stay in 301S. The view is absolutely amazing and the best thing about the unit. Every morning we started our day on the balcony, enjoying the view of the ocean with our coffee. The unit is bright and airy and overall in good condition. The Sea Colony is very family friendly and a great place to stay with young kids. We loved attending Bingo night, movie night and the money hunt in the pool. Unfortunately when we arrived, the unit had not been cleaned. They came quickly to clean - but did not vacuum even though there were bugs and other crumbs that needed to be vacuumed. The unit was nice, but could use some updating. The ice maker was not working properly and the bed linens and bathroom mats have many stains and need to be either more properly cleaned or replaced. The showers are difficult to use and run out of hot water. The parking space is impossible to find without assistant from a knowledgeable sea colony employee (I had to ask several before I could locate it). Overall we enjoyed our stay, but some improvements could be made!

NO HOT WATER!

We would have enjoyed our stay if it wasn’t for the lack of hot water. We were only staying for two days and didn’t notice the issue with the hot water until our 2nd day. I made Vacasa aware of the issue upon our checkout and they responded essentially saying that it was our fault, they weren’t responsible and they wouldn’t be providing any sort of compensation. I never asked compensation, I just didn’t want the next guests to have the same issue. When spent a lot of money on this rental and don’t think we should be responsible for scheduling maintenance or getting the hot water turned on.

Great place!

Had a great time at your very clean condo! Really appreciated that the placee was so clean. Seemed like rugs and floors were recently painted and cleaned. Beds comfy. Bathrooms updated and clean. Would stay there again.

Stay in Edgewater 301S from 3/17/21 thru 3/24/21

The Sea Colony is a VERY large, beautiful resort. Checking in was easy, but finding our reserved parking spot was horrendous. We spent 1/2 hour driving around trying to find our space. We finally went in and asked security for help. Help was provided, but the guard was not very friendly. As it turned out, our parking space was between two other buildings and outside. But, happily, once we overcame parking, everything was wonderful. The view was unbelievable from our unit. The indoor pool was closed for seasonal maintenance, but they opened the heated outdoor pool early to accommodate, which was appreciated by everyone, especially since the weather that week was warm and the water was heated since it was just opened. The pictures of the unit do not do them justice. We felt the unit was much nicer in person than represented in the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Colony and will definitely return!

Great apartment in a great location

The apartment was clean and had all of the amenities as depicted in the pics. We have three young children and came for a week during early April. It’s a roomy two bedroom, two bath with showers only (with glass doors that asides the fact that they are missing handles inside them to close while showering, we appreciated it as it’s much cleaner than shower curtains!). Our two complaints would be that the hot water runs out relatively quickly for a family of five when showering, and the king size mattress was a little soft to our taste, but overall an awesome apartment! We likely that the apartment was on the third floor so we walked up the stairs mainly, but were high enough to have a great view. This building has an indoor pool in the building which was very convenient in April as it was a little cold. Bethany is a cute little town and a perfect distance to either walk to in the beach, take our scooters or bike to! We enjoyed the tennis courts and the overall vibe of the town! The apartment has a wii with lots of games which our boys loved and an awesome terrace overlooking the ocean which we all appreciated! Being that we came in the off season the town/building was relatively empty which was nice, especially during COVID. Overall a great apartment in a great location! Highly recommend and we will likely revisit it next year :-)

Great location, property, & resort!!!

We loved our stay and highly recommend this unit and the Sea Colony resort for families. Our only suggestions for the owners would be (1) have outlet covers for the outlets to help better kid proof the unit; (2) provide a mat and handheld vacuum to help clean up sand at the entry way...the large vacuum was pretty clunky to get in and out; (3) upgrade internet strength if possible...streaming movies was a little choppy. Overall, it was fabulous and we will definitely be back next year. Thanks for helping us create a wonderful family vacation!
