Very Serviceable Condo

Everything that we needed was in this property. And most important is was clean. It could use some updating of amenities and a few other brightening to the decor to make it a 5 star facility.

Outside of the closed sliding glass door facing the ocean, pissing like a racehorse in the rain; and a lack of over all hot water ….. the condo was awesome. Super clean, convenient, well placed, and well priced. As a side bar: The restaurant right down the street, Bethany boathouse, EPIC. GREAT time & a must go.

Balcony view great, inside not

Furniture was comfortable, especially the beds. But note that your bedroom is right outside the elevator. Literally steps from it. You pay for an oceanfront view. You can get that from the balcony. However, from inside the condo there is no view. The windows are beyond filthy. I even went out to get window cleaner and paper towels. There is dirt and condensate within the windows to the balcony. Despite my efforts and extra money spent, I could not clean the windows. The sliding door and screen are tough to move with all the erosion. I put towels down on the dated floors to walk on. But balcony view, comfortable bed, and location are great.

Outdated, pool closed during our stay

Very 1982 Decor. I did like that there are two couches, but it had not been updated, so everything felt vaguely dirty bc it was just so old. The owners don’t provide wi fi so you have to jump through hoops with sea colonies tv to get the wifi through the company- half hour on the phone on night one is not fun. The screen door had a screw come loose so we were literally trapped inside the unit for an hour until maintenance could come (with a crow bar, I kid you not) to get us out. Fire hazard, anyone? The view is nice. We were on the osprey flight path so ospreys constantly flying by with fish in their talons. That was cool. The pool was closed tho, so we had to walk a long ways to the next pool with all of our stuff. Next time I will spend a little more for a nicer unit. It’s worth it, in my opinion.

I do like to stay at Sea Colony but I would caution you to check the condo you’re renting. We stayed in very nice units on our previous vacations but this unit is a trip back to the 80’s maybe even the 70’s ! It is in bad need of an update and is loaded with extra items .

The sunrise view is spectacular! Condo and building were kept very clean. Love the location on the beach, easy walk to boardwalk. Would give 4 1/2 stars if possible.
