Bienvenue à cette magnifiquement décoré 2 étages unité de fin maison de ville dans la communauté de premier ministre de la colonie de la mer. Il est à distance de marche de la plage (450 marches), du centre de remise en forme et du centre de tennis de classe mondiale, ainsi que du marché de Sea Colony. Il dispose de 2 chambres (1er étage maître bains et 2ème étage suite loft, deux salles de bains et avoir attaché walk-out sur les ponts)) et deux salles de bains. La chambre principale est au premier étage w / salle de bains communicante qui vient d'être rénové w / planchers de tuiles, tous les nouveaux appareils et un évier de navire, tout brillant propre. La chambre principale dispose également d'un walk-in, sa propre télévision et beaucoup d'espace de tiroir de la commode. Il existe une bascule et une porte coulissante en verre qui mène à la première plate-forme de plancher.

Le premier étage a aussi un moyen d'entrée commode w / beaucoup d'endroits pour accrocher vos sacs, objets personnels ou plage dissimulations. Cela ouvre sur le salon gaie et confortable w / confortable canapé et canapé naugahyde-couverte. TV armoire abrite beaucoup de jeux de société et la télévision par câble et magnétoscope. Internet est disponible avec un modem câble pour accéder à Internet haute vitesse. De la salle à manger, marcher dans la salle à manger qui peut accueillir six. Belles tablesettings disponibles pour chaque repas. Le long de la salle à manger est un bar qui ressemble en cuisine et trois sièges sur les tabourets. Cuisine ouverte permet pour vous d'être une partie de la vie ou la salle à l'action de la pièce ou regarder la télévision. La cuisine a nouveau lave-vaisselle et réfrigérateur avec micro-ondes et four plus. Ce est une cuisine bien équipée et joliment décorée w / bagel taille grille-pain, mixeur, cafetière, mijoteuse et ouvre-boîte électrique.

Il ya un pont 280 pieds carrés d'au premier étage d'attente pour vous de mettre votre ajustement ou de profiter d'un repas sur le pont grillés au feu de bois fourni pour vous. Avant l'entrée à la première plate-forme de chaussée, il ya une douche extérieure privée qui a également une zone de stockage connecté. Cette zone de stockage a rayonnages qui détient les chaises de plage, jouets de plage et des planches de bodyboard, qui tous peuvent être utilisés par nos clients. Aussi theres est un tuyau dans cette zone de douche.

Retour à l'intérieur la maison de ville, monter à l'étage via la spirale pittoresque
escalier est une 2ème chambre loft grandes 300 sq ft w / demi-mur rideaux. Cette zone a un total de 4 lits jumeaux (deux lits jumeaux côté de l'autre, puis un lit de repos sur le côté w / une taille double gigogne dessous). Arrêt de la chambre est une grande terrasse w / chaises et hamac prêt pour vous reposer et vous détendre. La salle de bains à l'étage a été rénové au printemps 2011 et a tous les nouveaux appareils et carrelage. Le lavabo est séparée de la toilette et le bain / douche région en porte communicante. Cela permet à usages multiples. Il ya aussi un grand walk-in qui peut accueillir valises. Il ya une petite télé dans cette chambre w / un lecteur DVD situé sur une petite table avec des chaises confortables. Région de Nice pour les enfants à mettre des puzzles ou lire un livre.

Retour en bas, avant l'entrée dans la salle de bain, il ya une buanderie derrière un ensemble de portes pliantes. La laveuse et la sécheuse sont en taille réelle avec une grille de séchage.

Cette unité dispose d'un accès facile à la plage (en traversant la route côtière via les passages pour piétons), piscine et des courts de tennis et les voisins du marché au Colony mer, qui dispose de 3 restaurants, boutiques de cadeaux, boutique de bonbons, plage bon magasin et location de vélo.
Delaware Seashore State Park est juste au nord et Fenwick Island State Park est un trajet en voiture de 5 minutes. Vingt minutes au nord est Dewey & Rehoboth Beach qui offre de grands magasins (tonnes de magasins d'usine et boutiques pittoresques one-of-a-kind) et restaurants. Dix à vingt minutes au sud est Fenwick Island & Ocean City Maryland qui a aussi beaucoup de shopping et une grande durée de vie de nuit ainsi.
Moins de trois heures en voiture de zones Baltimore, DC et Philadelphie.

We stayed here last minute after a large local rental company cancelled our booking less than 2 days before we arrived. This place was excellent. My mom can only do limited stairs, so having a bathroom and bedroom on the first level was great. We stayed upstairs with two small kids. Perfect for our group of 6. The place was very clean and had all the things we needed. Parking was convenient and it was close to the beach. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect location. Lovely home.

We have stayed in Sea Colony six times, and this was our favorite property and location. It is so nice to walk across the street to one of the many restaurants at marketplace at the end of the day, and it’s only a 5-7 min walk to the beach and to many pools. The house has games and beach toys. The owner was very attentive and communicative. Can’t wait to come back.

Great place to say!

The location of this unit is just perfect in it's proximity to the Marketplace and the tram stop and the beach...it is ideal! The unit was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, and Lori was easy to communicate with and very responsive and helpful! I would for sure recommend this booking to anyone else looking for a get away at Sea Colony / Bethany Beach! Thanks for everything, Lori!

Great location!

This rental was a perfect fit for my family (three daughters ages 4, 9 and 11). The upstairs loft bedroom with attached bathroom was absolutely perfect for my three girls to share. The house was clean and we loved the location. Right across the street from a small plaza with a couple stores, bike rentals, candy shop and great ice cream. Also just a short walk across rt1 to the beach- you could drive across and park or take the little sea colony bus that comes by but the walk was totally manageable for even my 4 yr old. We would definitely rent again- Thanks for everything!!!

Great time at Sea Colony

The condo could use some sprucing up, but overall a nice place. The listing stated the condo had 2 bedrooms. I assumed this meant that there would be a door on the upstairs room. There was not, and it was easy to hear everything going on downstairs, including the TV.

Very clean. Guest pass is a total racket

Place was very clean location was great and within walking distance of all you need. Be aware of the process it takes to get a guest pass and the cost of the passes. Owner made no mention of these costs at all. Also I’m not a huge fan of threatening extra charges for any little thing out of place.

Thank you kindly for your compliment on the condo's cleanliness. Also I am glad you enjoyed the location with close proximity to the beach and the Sea Colony Marketplace. In the VRBO listing for my unit it states the following: "SeaColony requires purchase of Recreation badges per persons 4 y/o & older: 5/2/20 to 6/5/20; 9/12 to 9/18- $20, 6/6 to 9/11-$40; $12 all other dates" under the 'Rules & Policies' section. Also in my welcome message sent to you on 8/4/20, there was a section which included instructions on the location of purchasing the recreation badges with prices. Unfortunately, I do not get the opportunity to verbally inform renters of these fees prior to booking as previously allowed to do with website changes by Homeaway and VRBO. I too sometimes miss written info and it is much easier to attain you would have been able to ask such questions before booking. I know there is a great deal of information to sort through when looking for a place. I'm sorry that this was not what you expected. Sea Colony is frequently praised for the value of recreation badges with Sea Colony's beaches being much larger than Bethany's and use of indoor/outdoor pools, sauna, hot tub, fitness center and indoor/outdoor tennis courts for $12/person during this time of year when it typically costs $40/person/week during summer months. Also my apologies if asking for household items to be returned to original places was unsettling. Like yourself, most people want to check-in early or on time, however if renters don't return furniture to original placement or put away dishes, are untidy etc, this requires more time and man-power to prepare the unit. In no way were the house rules meant to be threatening. Instead such rules are a way to allow the unit to be thoroughly cleaned so that the next renters can still enter on time. Good two-day rental

Lori's condo was comfortable and she was easy to communicate with from the start. We were two adult couples who needed a place at the beach for two nights so, given how few weekend rentals seem to be available, this worked very well for us. The kitchen is pretty well stocked and the bedroom configuration made for privacy. It probably should be noted clearly and up front in the HomeAway listing that starting in June each year, each person staying at a Sea Colony rental has to pay a 40 dollar resort fee. We knew there would be a fee involved but had not been told that we'd be adding a full160 dollars on to the cost of our 48 hour rental. As it happens, we never used the "facilities."

Persnickety Rules

Let’s start with the good. The property was tidy and in a great location for Ocean City and Bethany Beach, and private beach access was a huge plus. However, a set of overbearing rules, notes on every single item in the home, and an inaccurate listing left us feeling like an imposition and unwelcome. The hosts priority was clearly on keeping the property in a certain way, and not on guest comfort. I booked the property about 6 months in advance for a special event in Ocean City, and upon booking there was no indication of needing to bring our own bedding, a unique check in procedure, or insane rules. A few days prior, the host informed me about bringing bedding and sending a long, confusing email about check-in. this is a condo in a resort style property that requires a resort badge ($15 per person in extra fees) and a parking pass. At the property we were instantly greeted with signs, tags, and a long list of dos and don’ts. The rules included sitting on a clean sheet on the couch to avoid soiling it, and leaving a completely clean sink/drain catcher. The signs were on every item in the unit. Not complying with the rules led to threats of fines, for items as small as having not placed the remote back in its original place. This left us to feel like we were walking on eggshells for simply existing in the space. Overall, the onerous rules and stress caused by following them to the letter made this an unpleasant stay.

Hi Morgan, The things you stated that were not in my VRBO listing are below and copied directly from my listing under PROPERTY DESCRIPTION when you booked: "RENTERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN BED AND BATH LINENS UNLESS PREARRANGED WITH A LINEN RENTAL COMPANY OR WITH OWNER." "RENTERS MUST BRING OWN BED & BATH LINENS." "All guests over four years old must purchase a weekly Sea Colony recreation badge ($55 from June 8-September 17; $25 from April 1-June 8and September 18-24; $15 all other times in 2024). A parking pass is included.” I agree those are important details which is why I sent a reminder to you on 9/25/2024 before your arrival. There is no sign in the unit about being fined for not replacing the remote controls or keeping sink clean nor is there a sign on every item in the unit as you have inaccurately stated in your review. As for the actual signs in the unit which are 2" X 3 1/4" in size and total 5, they are merely to be informative and in no way to impose any rules on you or other guests. 1) No disposal; please use drain strainer. (placed at kitchen sink) 2) Please- All items must be washed before going in dryer. No sand! To avoid repair bills. Thank you! (placed on dryer) 3) Please use these freshly laundered linens to keep sofa clean. Thx (attached to sofa throws). 4)To open blinds above, please use silver cord. (on wall to left of unreachable blinds) 5) To lock, lift handle inside or outside. (placed on inside of front door). These signs are meant to be helpful or to keep items running smoothly so that the next renter has a clean environment with basics working satisfactorily. Since I am not there to walk everyone through the unit when they arrive, written signs are an easy way to convey information and are not intended to alienate anyone. As for the “unique and confusing check-in procedure” that you described, it is a lock box next to the front door and all you need to do is roll your 4-digit code in place to access key. It is meant to be easier than going to an office or storefront and wait in line to get a key and makes arriving after hours not a problem. I wish you would have let me know it was confusing at the time and I would have been glad to help. You messaged me that you entered the property shortly after 2pm so I had no idea you had an issue with check-in until I read it in your review. I'm sorry to hear there was a problem now. On 9/25/24, I reached out to you with a detailed VRBO message and reminded you about the need to bring bed and bath linens and to purchase badges. In addition, I made a phone call to welcome you to my unit via voicemail. I asked for you to contact me if you had any questions or concerns. Again, I'm surprised and sorry you felt unwelcome. My intent is to never make anyone feel like an imposition or unwelcomed or to surprise them with unknown costs or expectations. This is why I have a detailed rental agreement and try to let guests know what’s what in a place they have never been before. Not only is this my livelihood but I truly enjoy preparing and sharing my unit and work very hard to do so. I have been fortunate to receive very high ratings typically because of its cleanliness and proximity to the beach along with my availability to answer questions or concerns. I appreciate feedback whether it is good or bad as I always want to work on improving my unit and customer services however I can’t help but feel disparaged by most of your review which is not totally accurate. The house rules are merely to be either instructional or to keep the unit looking presentable and clean as much as possible while keeping cleaning/repair costs down. Although your stay was brief (one night- most places require a 2-night minimum), I greatly thank you for taking great care of my unit and showing respect for my property during your stay. Perfect for family of 6

The 4 beds in the loft with a bathroom worked great for my 4 boys (ages 5-12). The dining living area was nice and had room for all. There is a nice spacious deck outside with lots of chairs. The location was great. Across route 1 and through a building to the beach and pool A short walk to restaurants, CVS, Walgreens,, mini golf and more. Sea Colony has indoor and outdoor pools, activities, tennis. I would highly recommend.

Excellent location

Excellent location to the sea colony restaurants and ice cream shop. In warmer weather that would also be an excellent location to walk to beach. Lots of outdoor space at unit itself and lots of sunlight enter the unit. Owner was quickly responsive to questions. Indoor community pools in great shape and the tennis courts were in excellent shape as always.
