The Gray House is a completely renovated historical cottage dating back to the early 1900s, in the historical fishing village of Cortez, Florida. The village was founded in 1865. The house was built on stilts by Mr. Ireland . He sold the house to Grey Fulford in 1933. Grey moved the house on to land.
He married Priscila Pringle and lived there until 1983.
The cottage has original hardwood floors, marble counter tops ,and beautiful views. The cottage has a king bed, pull out couch in the second bedroom , dish washer, built in refrigerator, gas stove, large microwave, grill, table and chairs on the back deck. The bath is spacious with a walk in double shower. There are 2 TVs with internet stations and apple tv.
The house is located on a 2.5 acre lot with a 60 foot dock on Sarasota Bay. There are (2) deep water slips and Kayaks (2)are available on the premises with fishing gear and beach equipment..
The cottage has plenty of parking for boat trailers It is landscaped with indigenous plants only. The house is wheel chair accessible from a walkway and ramps up through the back door
This is a perfect place to getaway and safely, relax.
The cottage is dog friendly but sorry no cats or birds .
