With two living areas there is room for the book reader, the game player, or the TV viewer. We created a small home office area for those of you lucky enough to work from “home”!

We of course hope we share enough travel and dining tips you’re just there to sleep and relax before your next days outing! There is a nice kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, gas range and oven. A gas grill in the back patio helps for dining in options.

This 1950’s cottage take you back to a simpler time yet with all the comforts expected! Two FULL BATHROOMS make it comfortable for family and friends.

We’ve completed a full exterior renovation with new porches, Azec decking, roof and paint! There is seating on both the screened and open sides of the porch, as well as the backyard.

We keep our home sprayed quarterly for bugs and and we clean to the highest standards!

Once you book, I am always available via VRBO messaging or give me a call/text. We want you to enjoy our home as much as we do!

Great Neighborhood & Easy Access

We enjoyed our visit to St Simons and our stay in this home. We only used one bedroom, but there are three, and there is an extra "bonus room" where my husband worked remotely a couple of days. Right behind the Crap Trap, it's in a wonderful location for walking to bars and restaurants, and the neighborhood is great to walk as well. Very important to me is that one of my legs is in a boot. Myrtle Street is a block away, and that gives such easy access to the beach. You can even skip the boardwalk and walk right on! The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Stuart, the owner, is very responsive and got back to us immediately with anything we needed, including questions ahead of time.

Wonderful Host and Home

The pictures really dont do this house justice. there is so much space and is so comfortable. Stuart was so easy to work with and she continuously checked in on us to make sure our stay was going well. She cares deeply about the guests experience in her home and I couldn't reccomend this place enough. The location is also amazing.

Great location great house

We stayed over spring break. The island was busier than we were used to but the house and the location were tremendous. The front porch is great for sitting with your family, listening to music and relaxing. The house has plenty of room for at least 6 people maybe more (it was just the four of us). The house is a short walk to the beach and a stones throw to some of our favorite restaurants. Stuart was easy to get ahold of but honestly we didn’t need her. Couldn’t ask for a better host, house or location for our family of four.

Delivered as promised

"Easy Walk to Beach" was a spacious cottage with a good location. Proximity to restaurants [Crab Shack/King and Prince] and short walk to the beach. Lot of goodies upon arrival and the things you need. Stuart was most helpful and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend it.

Great Thanksgiving Gathering

What a terrific property for a wonderful family and friends Thanksgiving. Perfect location and amazing attention to detail for guests’ comfort. Such an easy checkin and stay. So many thing supplied in the kitchen. Felt like home from the minute you walk in the door. Great beach memories made this past week. We will be back!

Perfect location

Overall excellent house, and great location. Will stay at this house again if we come back to this area for vacation. One thing I have to mention, is that they took the time to label all the light switches. Makes so easy to know what to turn on or off. These are just of the many things that make this place exceptional.

PERFECT!!!!

Ok - I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t leave a lot of reviews, good or bad. But this place was absolutely perfect for our family’s stay during the 4th. First off, the location is incredible. Around the corner from 2 of the best restaurants on the island with Crabdaddy’s and Crab Trap. The King and Prince is essentially 2 streets over, but it’s literally so close that you can walk in less than 5 minutes. We had several friends in town for the 4th with their kids (we have teens - 14 & 17), so we rented a golf cart and bikes so they could go and do as they wanted. On your way to the beach from the house, stop by the Beachcomber Bar and grab a pina colada. They also have fantastic burgers! Secondly, the house was absolutely the perfect size - it’s quaint, but not small. And it’s CLEAN. Has a decent size back yard but we spent our time at the beach mostly, but enjoyed a few hours on the screened in front porch for morning coffee. Also - the house had several things that came in handy - like refreezable ice packs (we used the heck out of those every day), a soft beach cooler, beach toys, beach chairs, and the list goes on…Stuart was incredible and I felt like we made a new friend with her constantly checking in to make sure things were going good. We look forward to booking here again soon!!!

Perfect location and perfect home for our family

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay here. The friendly host reached out to ask if we needed anything, but we never did need anything because everything was in perfect order and available when we arrived. This was our family’s third time at SSI and this is our favorite neighborhood on the island. We felt close to everything, had a lovely porch each morning to drink coffee and hang out, had cozy chairs and couches indoors to watch movies at night, and all the beds were comfy, too. The home was clearly decorated with love and I enjoyed all the art and little touches. Lots of beach towels and beach chairs and extra extras. I hope we can come back again and stay one day. :)

Reluctance to ever leave this beautiful home

This house with both an open and screened-in porch was such a treat and a balm to our weary urban souls. It's going to be hard to write a succinct review if I list everything my spouse and I loved about it, including the ceiling fans, kitchen skylights, room for two to work remotely, and extraordinary cleanliness. When Stuart called to check on our week, I told her our dream about returning. I'll end by saying we loved the location, slightly less than 1 mile from the pier and Lighthouse Museum, highly walkable and bikeable. The neighborhood itself was quiet, and with the bedrooms easily darkened, we slept like rocks. Because there were several businesses about 3 blocks away, we easily rented bikes to keep for the week and patronized five of the restaurants there! We walked on the beach every day and sat on the porch every morning and evening and at other times too. We never watched the television....

Great place and happy to return!

We had a great stay and hope to visit again soon. Stuart is an excellent host! Great touches like stocked coffee bar, beach chairs and towels, starter shampoo and toothpaste, and well stocked pots/pans. Loved the gas cooktop - put out way more heat than ours at home. Short 6-7 minute walk to beach and easy walk to very popular restaurants. Enjoyed sitting on screened-in porch and reading. Didn't have opportunity to take advantage of the outside table and chairs in backyard but maybe next time. Easy home to recommend for your next trip.

Excellent host and beautiful cottage

The host, Stuart, is amazing. She is responsive and sweet. The cottage is fully outfitted, with lots of extra touches to make your stay complete and very comfortable. The cottage is immaculate, also. We were a party of four old friends. We loved having two bathrooms and four sleeping areas. We loved both the screened in porch and the open porch area. The neighborhood is quiet. In short, we all felt very comfortable, safe, and had enough space. I would highly recommend this host and this cottage. Extra bonus - Stuart's check out instructions are simple, and easy to get done as you fly out the door to make your flight or head home. Thank you, Stuart!

Gotta Go Back

This was an extremely clean, well-equipped cottage (others advise you to bring beach chairs and towels; not here since those are provided). All you could want in a kitchen, plenty of towels, large rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of storage space. The host was phenomenal: prompt on a couple of questions, the easiest check-in, friendly, sincere. This cottage, and its neighborhood ooze charm and character. My wife and I want to go back. We also referred a friend (who stayed in the area at another property at the same time we did), who promptly booked this property for later after looking at this one. I could not recommend this property more highly. My advice to anyone is to book it and enjoy your trip (just don't do it when we want to return, OK?).

Great Rental

We had a great stay at the house over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed hanging out on the front porch, and the house has a nice fenced in backyard as well that was good for the kids. The property owner was very kind and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!

This neighborhood is quintessential St Simons! The surrounding neighbors are nice, quiet and typically full time residents. This house is off a main road so safe for bike riding for children and just 2 quick shaded blocks to the beach. It’s one of the most perfect neighborhoods on the island.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This house has great happiness within the walls. My family has always felt it and we’ve had several guests mention there seems to be a happy spirit within the walls! (Don’t freak out ….. I’m not talking about ghosts!) It’s comfortable without feeling like a cheesy beach house. There are no hallways so the house doesn’t feel small…. The porches make the outdoor living perfect!
