I am accepting a non-smoking (no outdoor smoking) person, who wants to be in coastal Carlsbad in a safe residential, very quiet and convenient location.

I am sorry but I do not accept couples (single bed), or cats (allergic). I may accept a small well behaved, non barking dog. Jigsaw, my Chihuahua, would like that as well.

This stylish modern well-appointed studio is an attached quality, high-end, permitted self-contained studio/private bathroom for your convenience and comfort in mind.

LOCATION:

Enjoy this ultra quiet, classy Carlsbad retreat in a quiet residential neighborhood, high on a hill, in a cul-de-sac street with only 12 houses, conveniently located 5 minutes to Carlsbad State Beach, two minutes from the 5 and 78 freeway, and half way between Orange County, San Clemente, and San Diego Downtown.

It is under 3 miles or 5 minutes to the Carlsbad train station and 8 miles from the Oceanside Amtrak Station. Just 20 minutes to Del Mar to enjoy the Del Mar Race Track and the Del Mar Fair. Just 4 miles to GIA, Gemological Institute of America, and Lego land. Included are all the fully furnished comforts of your own home in this private space.

Located in North East Carlsbad, just off of Carlsbad Village Drive, three blocks east of El Camino Real, in a private, cul-de-sac street. It is high on a hill, a half mile from the large shopping center, Plaza Camino Real Mall, Vons, Starbucks, Sprouts, dining, shopping, and the movie theater.

Only 2.5 miles from downtown Carlsbad. Enjoy Sushi and Thai restaurants, just a few blocks away. Carlsbad Premium outlets and the Palomar Airport are 4 miles away.

The San Diego Airport and John Wayne Airport in Orange County are both 45 minutes away. There is public bus system that is one block away that takes you to the train station a couple of miles away.

We are four miles from LegoLand, and Palomar Airport and Gemological Institute of America (GIA). We are 45 minutes from San Diego Downtown by car or train.

AMENITIES:

You will be pleased with this artsy, modern and beautiful appointed place for you to reside. This modern studio has everything you want including sheets and linens, and a fully equipped compact kitchenette with a large and a small refrigerator, utensils, dishes, induction stove top, microwave, toaster oven, and air fryer. There is a toaster oven and a BBQ in the back yard for all your grilling needs.

The amenities are wonderful in this modern suite. You can wash your bedding and clothes in the free dual laundry facilities next to your unit.

Come and go with your private entrance on the patio next to the driveway. Free on-site parking on the driveway in front of the unit on the property. Your car will be safe!

Sleep in comfort under the big bay window, on a single equipped with black out shades, modern sheers and velvet great curtains, genuine Tempurpedic-brand bed on top of a platform that is high enough to store your suitcases and boxes.

Use the modern glass-top desk with the high speed internet, and LCD digital TV with cable and streaming channels. Also dine on a flip-up table, which fold down when not needed. You have all the comforts you need when you rent this newly built, comfortable studio.

Relax and read in the leather lounge chair. Store your clothes in the double pole closet. The studio has custom special effects LED colored lighting in the vaulted ceilings above the "The Wing" high-tech ceiling fan. It also has a QuietCool whole house fan to keep the unit cool in the summer. The unit has a large skylight to capture the light. All windows and doors have sun block shades, blinds and curtains.

No need to share a bathroom as you have a private bath with shower. For dining, eat on the covered secluded patio and use the lounge chair to sunbathe in the Carlsbad sun.

When you arrive, you will fill out a short information form for emergency contacts and waiver of liability, I will need a copy of your driver's license, and there will be a lease agreement for the dates you reserved through through this site.

You will be safe here, it is extremely quiet, and you will feel like you are home.

NEIGHBORHOOD EVERVIEW

This is a cul-de-sac street with very little traffic. Only 12 homes on the street. Top of the hill, out of the way, quiet and private. Please only park on the driveway in front of your home. Please drive slowly down this cul-de-sac street.

GETTING AROUND

The bus stop is on the corner and the train is 2.5 miles away. Most people have a car and park on the street. Those who don't have a car use Uber and Lyft. All shopping is within a half mile and is an easy walk.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

Due to parking limitations, I can only accept one non-commercial vehicle.

Please ad a good description of yourself as well as your situation with your request to stay.

When you arrive, you will be required to fill out an information sheet on yourself, have your picture taken, and a copy of your driver's license.

A monthly lease will be provided for you with the identical terms of agreement of VRBO.

I love U.S. and international travel. In the last few years I have been to Thailand, Bali, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Washington DC, the most foreign place of all! I have been a real estate broker and property manager since 1985, and am proud to offer high quality and comfortable stylishly unique housing for transitional or long term guests.

I am readily available to offer assistance, but offer privacy for you. On another site, I am a highly rated host, sensitive to your needs for a good top of the line, comfortable bed and a quiet location, with all the conveniences and appointments of your own home. I bought this house in 1985, moved in in 1995 and in the year 2000 I started creating guest suites for temporary housing. I chose this neighborhood because it is quiet on a cul-de-sac street with no noise. Although we are a coastal town we have no fog because we are more than a mile inland. I am high on a hill so we have astounding views yet so close to the Shops of Of Carlsbad. I can walk to the mall, the grocery store, cafés, movie theater, and the gym. Since I am an interior designer, I decided to create this guest suite for someone who wants to live in a home, but live separately without any common spaces. It is colorful, cheerful and quiet. It has everything you need to be comfortable. And of course, it is filled with the art that I have created. It is perfect for someone who appreciates minimalistic living as it is truly a tiny home.

Benefits include a low monthly price, a very good value for one person with all inclusive, peaceful surrounding, happy environment, driveway parking, privacy, free double washer and dryer in adjacent garage, small dogs allowed. Air conditioning and heating is under your control. You have complete privacy. This ADU is attached to the house through the garage and has direct access to the laundry which is two washers and two dryers. The full size refrigerator is next to the unit. It can store weeks worth of groceries. This is ideal for a student, intern or adult looking to find permanent housing. The best thing that makes this property stand out is the price. It is all inclusive and you need to buy nothing paper goods soap and laundry detergent are all inclusive. Cable, and streaming services are included. When you add up the price of electricity, gas, gardening, cable, Internet, streaming, it becomes overwhelming, but you don’t have to worry, because you’ll have it all with this tiny home.
