St. L'île Simons est un village pittoresque sur l'océan Atlantique qui possède d'énormes chênes vivants dégoulinant de mousse espagnole, de vues sur les marais et de la nature à son meilleur. Ce lieu historique possède d'excellents restaurants et de magnifiques boutiques ainsi que des pistes cyclables, des terrains de golf et des courts de tennis. La plage elle-même est très large, idéale pour marcher, faire du vélo, faire voler des cerfs-volants, jouer à des jeux ou simplement se détendre. Le célèbre King and Prince Resort a été élu «Georgia's Favorite Beach Resort» par les lecteurs de Southern Living. Vous pouvez rester à un prix abordable dans ce complexe dans cette belle copropriété de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain avec vue sur l'océan qui est décorée avec goût avec le confort à l'esprit. Le balcon offre une vue magnifique et une brise marine. Le complexe de condominiums offre une piscine privée, un bain à remous, des barbecues à gaz et un parking sécurisé et fermé. L'unité a son propre espace de stationnement couvert attribué. Nos clients peuvent marcher jusqu'au village et à l'embarcadère sur la plage ou les routes secondaires. Certains des meilleurs restaurants de l'île et la location de vélos sont situés à seulement quelques pâtés de maisons de l'unité. Great spot

I like a door number pad better because it’s just easier than keeping up with keys, but we managed not to lose any keys. Property is a little dated but there is no better spot on the island than the King & Prince. We would definitely book again.

Okay for the price

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in numerous villas at the King & Prince. This unit was more outdated and in need of more repairs than others, but the lower price reflected that. The unit was very clean, and we enjoy the amenities that the King & Prince offers. However, due to needed repairs in the master bath and outdated furnishings, we wouldn't book this particular unit again.

Great Location. Not so great condo.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When renting a Villa at the King & Prince we expected a higher standard in accommodations. This unit needs major updating...bathrooms, kitchen and furnishings/decor.Porch furniture is old and covered in mildew.Would not recommend this unit.

Great resort, Gorgeous views!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This resort is second to none! The pool area is beautiful, and the beach is just outside the gate. You can watch the ocean from the pool deck, and sometimes see a cargo ship heading to port. Condo was roomy and clean. I prefer a firmer mattress and sofa, but it is nicely decorated and enjoyable.

Great beach stay!

Beach was awesome! The condo needs a little attention. My husband fell as the tall patio chair he was sitting in rusted thru. The other tall chair is as bad. We didn’t use it. The other plastic patio chairs have seen better days. The beds were comfortable and the condo well stocked. Beautiful area!!

Great location

Loved being in the King and Prince. The condo was fine but needs to be updated. There were two light bulbs missing or out. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off for about an hour Saturday around midnight which was frustrating. But all in all we had a nice time. We would stay at the King and Prince again but find one that had a more ocean view and was more updated. Everyone at Georgia Coast Reality was wonderful!! Take Care

The property grounds and location you CAN NOT beat! Yes things in the condo are a little dated but it’s a beach condo. Literally sat on balcony every morning listening to waves crash along the rocks every morning.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Glad we got the condo, especially for the kitchen. We ate all but two meals there. Went out to dinner to Porch restaurant, absolutely no social distancing in place. Rather scary. Our other dinner was at King & Prince Echo - fortunately, it was not crowded. Hostess tried to seat us right next to a party of fourteen!Condo - pros - nice balcony, comfortable master bedroom, comfortable living room furniture, loved having a garbage disposal, pool - we thought we would use K&P main hotel pool but that was too crowded. The condo pool was not.cons - Master bath - shower fixtures need updating/repair. Looks neglected. Sheets were left in the dryer upon our arrival.I appreciate we got four nights at the last minute. A win-win for everyone.

Needs major update & maintenance

The resort and location are wonderful, but this unit needs major attention. Certainly not worth the price tag. Well we expected it to be very dated from the photos (bedding, table, TVs Etc) we did not expect any of the following. Pans were all trash couldn’t even use because the Teflon was so bad. Outlets needed GFI reset when we got there. One Outlet didn’t even have a cover! So many electrical cords everywhere. We have a 10 month old! Super dangerous and where we are from this is a major violation. Shower curtain both had mildew. Master bed is super hard, squeaky and old. Would not recommend this unit as it stands.

Time for an update

The resort is very nice and the beach is great. The island is quiet and has some outstanding restaurants. The actual unit is over priced for what you get. Though it has a great view, the quality of the furnishings, flooring and appliances is less than what we offer in a similar unit on Hilton Head Island for half the price. I am guessing most of the furnishings came from resale shops. They perform their function, but the quality of the unit was definitely the low point of an otherwise great visit.

So good in July, we came back in August

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked a last minute stay for the 4th in this unit after reading the reviews. I was a little nervous, but thought it should be fine for a 4 night stay. This unit is not updated with premium finishes and the furniture is lacking in the living room (as shown in photos, although some are out of date). However, this unit is reasonably furnished, clean, with all fixtures in proper working order, great A/C and good stackable W/D. We did not have any trouble charging iPhones, although the WiFi was slow if you need to work a little while there. The partial ocean view from the patio is a nice place to enjoy the crashing waves at the end of the day. We appreciate little extras like clothing hangars, extra towels and a comfortable Sterns and Foster mattress on the pull out sofa. We decided to return for another long weekend before school started and found repairs had been made to the cracked glass by front door & the rug in LR was new. We reported having trouble with the entry door keys when we checked out, so I hope they will resolve that issue for future guests. I do wish they would transition to electronic locks. The amenities at K&P are great. Not too stuffy, but nice old hotel charm. There is good variety at the pools with ample seating and key card access keeps it relatively exclusive to guests. We enjoyed several good meals at Echo and the poolside bar with attentive service. Overall, this unit feels a lot like you've gone to stay at a Great Aunt's place - it would benefit from some modernizing, but it functions fine in current form. Rental rate is fair. We would stay again and recommend to friends for a beach retreat.

We have asked them to change this rule, but have not had any luck yet. Since your review, we have new furnishings in the living room and a few updates throughout!
