Enjoy beautiful Northwest Indiana area which is close to wineries, breweries and casinos! Washington Park Zoo is aslo close by as are the Indiana National Park and Warren Dunes State Park in Michigan. Set among the woods with natural wildlife.

The home is a 3-bedroom/2-bath home. There's a large master with king bed and en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms feature queen beds with a shared bathroom. There's a front porch with seating, and a screened in porch and outdoor space with fire pit in the backyard. Side door grill with easy access. The open layout living room, dining room, and kitchen are great for gathering, playing games and enjoying a meal.

If you like to eat out we have STop 50 Pizza a block away, Swingbellies burgers down the street and the Famous Redamaks about 1 mile into New Buffalo, MI!

RELAXATION

This property was nice, relaxing, and clean. The backyard was perfect with a firepit to sit by and take in the outdoors. Overall, the property was a stay again in the future. Definitely recommend to future seekers in need of a great stay, nice host, communicates swiftly, and no complaints.

Cozy but spacious home

Beautiful home! 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Modern conveniences, spacious, perfect for our family! Plenty of parking and quiet neighborhood close to beach! Would highly recommend staying here!

Quick getaway

The house was adorable. Everything we needed for a nice getaway. Beds are very soft (if you like soft). The couch was hard and uncomfortable. Still rate this house high because in the summer time you probably wouldn’t spend much time on the couch, but we were there in fall and it was too cold to sit on the porch or outside. I would recommend this house.

As advertised. Immaculate and nicely furnished

Check in was super easy. The owner even arranged for us to enter a bit early. We were 4 adults, 2 in the king and 1 in each of the other queens. Plenty of space. Enjoyed the cornhole game but didn't have time to play Yahtzee. Much appreciated!

We have stayed here twice and it’s a great place. Very clean and well appointed. Hosts are great to work with. They answer any questions and respond immediately. Would definitely recommend it!!

Great place!

The house was gorgeous- pictures do not do it justice! Beds were very comfortable. It was a great location. Bikeable ride to beach, a little far to walk. There was a small parking area at Stop 37 beach, but it says 15 minute parking (we never got a ticket, but I imagine during peak season this may be an issue). Family friendly. We loved it!

Summer family vacation

Everything as advertised and as expected. Had some games and toddler items included (high chair and a portable crib), which was useful for us. We had no need to talk with the host, but they live around the corner so suspect they'd be very responsive. Location has easy access to many things, and about 20 minutes walk for beach access.

Great stay!

Property was clean, exactly as described. Very comfortable. Beautiful walk to beach access point 34 (only 15 minute parking close to entrance), with stairs to beach. We dropped off beach supplies off with car and sent an adult to take car back to house and walk back to beach. Beach was clean, nice sand. Small outdoor back space to roast marshmallows and saw lots of deer which the kids loved. House is one of 3 similar properties in a row and can be rented together we found out. Would for sure rent again!

Sunset Cruise in New Buffalo

This house was perfect for our needs. It's located in a quiet neighborhood that is close to everything. It was clean with very comfortable beds. Host has a great welcome book with lots of information and great suggestions for anything you can think of. Fire pit was amazing, even had fire starters. Stoli the black lab next store was an added bonus for our pet loving family. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

From the minute we arrived until we left for home, everything about this house was perfect. The home was very clean, had comfortable beds, soft linens, nice towels and a well appointed kitchen. Although we didn't use it, there is a nice fire pit and seating area in the back. Greg was very helpful when it came to suggestions for a quick dinner close by. There are nearby places to shop, admire the lake and scenery, and great places to eat. We will definitely try to come back soon to this great property.

Great house

House was exactly as pictured. Very nice, comfortable beds, everything you would need. Appreciated having a few Keurig pods waiting for us. Well set up, very clean. It rained a lot during our stay, and there must be a sump pump somewhere near the front of the house. You could hear it go off every few minutes in the front bedroom. That took some getting used to. But can’t control the weather! Otherwise, great place and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Beach trip

Me and the girls stayed here to visit the beach at Washington Park. Loved the house and the decor. Loved that the owners had a couple of beach chairs and a wagon for us to use. The house sits very close to train tracks, so if you don’t like hearing train horns, you’ll want a different location. I actually loved hearing the trains. We were visited by several deer over the few days we were there. They came up pretty close to the house because someone put food out for them in the lot next to the house. I would definitely stay here again. The only disappointment was that the original listing said there was a hot tub; I didn’t see a picture of it, so I messaged the owner and was told there was no hot tub. Bummer, but we probably wouldn’t have had time to use it anyway.

VRBO Weekend with cousins

This is our second time staying at this house for our annual fall get-a-way with cousins. It still seems "new" - very clean and well kept. Love the open floor plan. The master bedroom is large and has a king bed - which is hard to find in rentals. The walk-in closet is a bonus! The other two bedrooms are nice size with queen beds. Laundry room has a sink too. The screened in porch is off the master bedroom. Back yard has fire pit and chairs. Very well stocked house. Would rent again!

A Pleasant Surprise

I stayed with 3 friends from Nurses training. We graduated in 1964 so that tells you our age. We were looking for a quiet place where we could play games in the evenings without all kinds of noise. We had hoped to see a lot of Fall colors, but I think we were a little early. One day we were treated to a display of enormous waves crashing into the lighthouse. (a highlight of the trip) We found a Winery/restaurant for lunch. The view was good and so was the food. The house was better than expected. Appliances and furnishings were all very nice. It was well stocked with anything we needed. AND the beds were comfortable. The host replied quickly to my questions. All and all it was a nice trip. I would definitely recommend it.

We are in a great location -close to shopping, casinos, wineries, horse back riding, beaches and restaurants that are very popular! 10 minutes to New Buffalo Michigan and 10 minutes to Michigan City casinos and outlet mall! Lovely wooded setting and close to beach and a playground close by!
