This home has a large stone gas fireplace upstairs, and a huge game room downstairs that is equipped with a pool table, a foosball table, a poker table, and an air hockey table. The house has free WiFi, cable TV, and free long distance calling. Fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. After a long day, relax in the outdoor hot tub or indoor 10x16 Plunge pool or sit by the fire pit and roast marshmallows. Walk to the ski slopes, and enjoy free On Call Resort Shuttle Service to the Village area with shops and restaurants. Sleeps 22 comfortably. This is the most spacious lodging on the mountain. The house was great! Would definitely stay again. Unfortunately the pool was cold but the hot tub worked great and we were walking distance to the Western Territory.

We had a great time-my only concern was that the driveway was not available during our stay because of the snow. It was very unsafe to drive on. Our cars got stuck multiple times and many people fell. The downstairs was freezing. Otherwise, we had a nice stay. It was a nice location on the mountain.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was lovely and the shuttle to and from the slopes was super convenient! Kitchen was stocked with all the cooking/dining tools and equipment we needed. Excellent place to stay.

Great Place, Super Helpful Staff

I went there to propose to my now fiancé, the plan was for friends and family to arrive first and by the time I proposed on the mountain our friends to be waiting to surprise her. The staff was super accommodating with an early check in and the place was great, very large and ski on ski off from western territories. Highly recommend if you're there with a large group.

great place have stayed there before but not in 3 years. Loved the new indoor pool but it was not heated heated enough. Cold water.

Large accommodating house with many features

We loved the house and all of the amenities. The host was very good with communication and responsiveness. The property was a little farther from the main village and things than we thought from the listing. The shuttle service could have been a little better. Otherwise, the house was great.

Great for Large Group of Friends

Overall the house was great for our group of 17. We ended up driving to the top of the word each day to get to the slopes. We made meals at home all three nights and it had all the utensils we needed. Not the most comfortable beds and some parts of the house could be updated but overall the house fit all of us and was close to the slopes so we enjoyed our stay.

Thanksgiving Quick Getaway

Everything was wonderful and amazing. Appreciate the wonderful decors for the holiday. It was truly a great start for the holidays! Just one thing- maybe have some kind of plowing and sand services for the property for snow and safety reasons. Otherwise, everything was great and festive ambience. Thank you!

Overall great house!

This home was perfect for our family ski trip! The home was super clean which I was concerned reading previous reviews but they definitely addressed that issue! The kids had a great time with all the amenities. Pool table, air hockey, and hot tub! I will say the new enclosed pool is not heated so did not give it try because it was so cold! The property managers did great with responding and I would for sure rent this home again! The on call shuttle was super helpful getting around the village so we did not have to drive several cars. Hope other families also enjoy this home as we did!

Oh my. Read this before you rent.

If you want a great location to party with lots of bedrooms and could less about quality, this is the rental for you. Otherwise it’s not clean, the entire home was renovated by people only educated by HGTV, beds have to be older than 15 years as all of us felt every spring in those mattresses, and the hot water heater allows only 10 minute showers every hour or so. Only the bottom floors have heat. The rest of the home is heated by air moving through the visible gaps in the floor. If you spill water it will drip directly on people on the floor below you. There’s no way this house is to any type of construction code. Worst drywall work I’ve ever seen in my life. Bed frame in one of the bedrooms broke as soon as I sat down on it. Repair guy stayed in room for an hour and no visible work resulted. Bed mattress remained on the floor for the rest of our visit. Drive way is very difficult to use in winter weather even with 4 wheel drive and no one can be parked at the house if you’d like it plowed. If you care about quality, comfort, and cleanliness, you’re better off renting 2 smaller homes. If you just want to party close to the slopes, this is for you.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that our home was not up to standard when you arrive and we have improvements to make. We have added a training program for our housekeepers and also added inspectors to check the units after it is cleaned. The homeowner is aware of the issues with the beds and hot water and we have worked with him to get the items taken care of. The road has been repaired and we have a designated person for plowing. We do appreciate the feedback but in no way do we condone the mistreatment of large groups using our home just to party.

Bad house

The house was beat up. The kitchen cabinets had no handles and also most of them were stuck. The oven handle was off. Several of the window opening mechanisms were broken. The Hot tub was. a disaster and the water was green and broken most of the time. The house was advertised as ski in /ski out when you clicked your preferences and it was not. The house is advertised as a TV in every bedroom. Only one of the 8 bedrooms had a TV and it did not work. I would recommend that you not stay here and pay that price.

Cozy, spacious ski lodge

We enjoyed a sweet week of family reunion near the Snowshoe Resort. During the winter, all your activities are in walking distance; but during the summer, be prepared to drive 30-60 minutes through the mountains to outside activities. We enjoyed visits to Cass, Greenbriar hiking trail and Greenbank Observatory, but most of the time enjoyed being together at the house, which has lots of bedrooms and great open common rooms on each of the 3 floors with a nice loft.

Excellent summer location with rustic feel

This house is excellent for large groups and folks who just want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main resort area. It's is on a steep slope so 4 wheel drive vehicles are a must in the winter.
