This home is so comfortable and spotlessly clean! I usually have a difficult time sleeping in new places but the bed and bedding was so cozy and it was so quiet I had no problem! The kitchen had everything we needed and the location is close to lots of good restaurants. This was a work trip for me so the only minor issues are the poor 5G signal from Verizon (not the hosts fault), the house WiFi showed “good” but was so slow for working that it was a bit difficult at times. They said they will be looking into that before the next guest :)

Thank you so much for your kind words. We truly are sorry about the wifi situation and continue to try to work on a solution with our provider. Unfortunately, what they have told us is that they are in the process of upgrading their towers and so for now we have no choice but to deal with the slower speeds. I am hoping that in a couple weeks we will have both faster internet and cellular service in the area. Happy to host you again anytime!

We really needed the fenced yard and sliding glass doors in two bedrooms for our dogs. These two home features are the most important for dog owners, so I recommend highlighting this in the VRBO photo page instead of decoration photos. Home was also priced right given its age and location.

Was as advertised and close to many things downtown. Would have liked to know in advance that no shoes were allowed inside, preferred slippers. Otherwise, very nice and great location. Host was very responsive.

Clean and comfortable

Hon’s home was a very comfortable retreat for my family and I while we were in town for a wedding. Very comfortable beds, and well appointed kitchen and bathrooms- which even had every spare amenity you could need. My daughter was grateful for the spare toothbrushes and toothpaste as she forgot hers. Great location, close to everything.

The property felt safe, parking was good. Pet friendly was very nice. Great location. Fire pit was closed. The grass on property needed mowing. The outdoor furniture worked good for our group. The plastic chairs were a little concerning with our heavier family members. The kitchen utensils need improving. The four-slice toaster only toasted 2 slices on one side while the other 2 slices toasted on both sides. The picture of the room is not the type of furniture the house had, but it was very accommodating for our family. I don't understand why I was charged 180. for more guests when it is advertised to sleep 8 and we only had 7. We had 1 child and 6 adults.

Celebration of Life

The stay at the Utopian property served the purposes of our visit. It was comfortable, well-appointed and we were able to visit and enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and everyone enjoyed a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the rainy weather kept us from enjoying the outdoor seating areas and BBQ. Utopian House is centrally located in Ukiah and within walking distance of many restaurants, coffee houses, and bars.

Great location - clean and quiet - comfy beds!

We loved the home and location convenient. Most comfortable beds for rental we have had yet! We are old ukiah people just needed a place to stay close to parents without burdening them and their only bathroom with our family of three. The only reason I gave accuracy of listing a 3 was because there were no bidets as advertised (owner has corrected) which was a huge bummer for us and backyard very overgrown compared to photos. Otherwise just really loved it!

The rooms were clean and the kitchen well equipped. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have good air conditioning working on hot days. The disappointment was with the overall feel of the place. The photo looks so bright and cheery but there were dark curtains on the living room windows that didn't really fit the length and made the rooms feel so dreary and drab. Both showers need to be made to flow more evenly. One of the bedroom lamps needed a switch repaired.

Property was great for our family. Good location and easy access to stores and freeway. A little trouble finding WiFi password, but figured it out from customer service. Great inside but...

Check in was a breeze. The inside was nice and clean and well equipped. The outside looked a bit rough. It had knee high weeds all around the house and in the back yard. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy but we had zero issues. It was a great place to stop to rest but not a house to hang out and feel like you are vacationing. It fit our purpose well since we were passing through and doing laundry. It’s a great little house that needed some yard work. I’d stay there again.

Perfect for family!

We were back in my hometown for a family reunion and this house was perfect! Two couples, one single person and my grandson fit well in the three bedrooms, the master bedroom being set away from the other rooms. The washer and dryer came in really handy and we cooked a couple of breakfasts in the kitchen wish ease! There were even a few books and toys for my grandson to play with during our stay! There is a great coffee shop a couple of blocks away and even though it was quite hot while we were there the air conditioning keep things comfortable (not something you get in all California homes)! This house was perfect for us and communicating with the host was quick and easy! Highly recommend!
