The Cool Azul is a hidden gem located in central Destin that is ideal for your perfect Destin beach trip! We've remodeled this condo in early 2020, to bring modern touches that make your stay feel just like home. While you're not beachfront & there isn't a fantastic view, the driving proximity to everything Destin can't be beat to live like a local! While we understand that our home may not be a good fit for everyone, we go above and beyond for our guest satisfaction!
The Space:

âą Inside, you'll find a clean, fun, and budget-friendly rental space that we've put a lot of care into.
âą Please Note: This community was constructed in the 1970s and has a more dated exterior. There are exterior limitations of the property that are beyond our control.
âą We understand this rental may not be the perfect fit for every traveler, and thatâs why we aim to be transparent; so, you can feel confident and comfortable with your choice to stay here.
KEY FEATURES YOU'LL LOVE:

....& Here's a quick walkthrough of what you can expect when arriving to COOL AZUL!
When you arrive, you'll walk right in to the living room that boasts a comfortable queen memory foam sleeper sofa, soft blankets to snuggle up in, and a cozy seating area around a colorful electric fireplace.
Through the double sliding glass doors the natural light is incredible, but room darkening curtains make it comfortable any time of the day. We offer a Roku Tv with standard cable included for our guests convenience. You'll also find a shelf full of board games for rainy days, or just a fun night in with friends and family. The kitchen area opens up to the living room with swivel stools at the breakfast bar for enjoying your meals and time together. We've stocked this kitchen with stainless steel appliances (our fridge even offers on demand hot water!), dishes, bake ware, pots & pans, silverware, utensils, oil & vinegar, a full spice rack, and a regular drip coffee pot & Keurig. We have an easy to use high chair and kids dishes for our little travelers as well.
Directly off the living area you can find the bedroom with a cooling gel memory foam 12 King bed with an abundance of pillows for a comfortable nights sleep. For those with extra guests we have two twin trundle memory foam beds directly under the King bed. A top of the line pack and play is offered for families with little ones traveling-one less item to pack! A 50' Roku enabled tv with standard cable here is perfect for relaxing in bed watching your favorite shows at the end of the day.
The bathroom offers a super deep tub to enjoy baths, a beautiful vessel sink, soft towels, and plenty of space to get ready in. We've designed this space with the amenities we've desired to have when we travel-all the comforts of home (and not a cramped & cold hotel feel) to ensure our guests have a top notch experience at the Cool Azul!
We also offer the convenience of having two entrances to our complex! The main entrance allows you to drive directly onto the main road through Destin, and another allowing you to exit onto a side road near a stop light when traffic gets a little crazy in our small town!
A few important things to keep in mind:
-We are NOT beachfront, you can't see the beach, you can't stick your toes in the sand from the front door, and you do have to get in your vehicle to drive to the PUBLIC beach access that is 3/4 mile from our condo at June Decker Beach Park. Henderson Beach State Park is a short drive away as well. We do not have a gated or private beach access at this location.
-Due to our condo being a first floor unit there is a potential for noise as stated in our house rules. We do encourage that if you know ahead of time that you are extremely sensitive to noise (much like an apartment, with shared structure walls) that you take a look at some of our listings that are second floor units that do not have units above.
-Due to this being a residential complex, noise ordinances are at 10pm sharp. We do not permit excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances at any time.
-This condo is video monitored outdoors for security purposes at all times.
-Smoking is not permitted on the patio or near the building at any time.
-While we do host groups 25 years or younger at our discretion, we must be notified before your confirmed booking to provide an exception on a case by case basis only.
-Any stay that a house trained pet will be included in MUST be disclosed when booking, as a pet fee of $50 is required. We do not accept more than 2 dogs, and pets must be crated when unattended and cleaned up after inside and out. Pets are not permitted on furniture at any time. ADA recognized service animals are not charged a pet fee, but ESA (Emotional Support Animals) are still subject to pet fee. False information regarding a service animal is against the law in our state, so we appreciate your honesty in this matter.
-This is a mixed community with residential & short term guests alike. While the gated community itself is a "community in transition" with updates to the exterior being improved steadily, we do not have control over any "look" of the exterior of our condo. We have gone above & beyond to create a beautiful & cozy space INSIDE for our guests enjoyment!
Guest Access:
You have full access to the entire condo, the complex swimming pools, tennis courts, laundry facilities (and private laundry at the condo),and two entrances to the condo complex. We're within walking distance of beach stores, Waffle House, Chick-Fil-A, Shakes Frozen Custard, Mary's Kitchen, Beach Liquors, Subway, Merlin's Pizza, Smoothie King, and The Track!

PLEASE read our house rules in detail before booking. We take time to put important information here that we need each guest to take into consideration when booking our home. While not all items listed may apply to your stay, we host guests of various group compositions so must list all rules that could apply to a trip. Thank you for your understanding!
