Intimate, private and quiet guest house on sixteen acres of an organic orchard filled with avocados, pixie tangerines and Valencia oranges. Guests are welcome to pick ripe oranges from the trees and use the citrus juicer to make fresh squeezed orange juice. There are also overflowing grapefruit, fig and pomegranate trees to pick from.

The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely living room with beautiful views. The outdoor patio is furnished for guests to enjoy the nightly pink moment as the sun sets on the Ojai Valley. If you do not see the dates you are interested in, please contact Mimi directly.

Excellent location to escape the hustle and bustle of city life yet just a five minute drive to enjoy the shops and restaurants of downtown Ojai.

If you are working virtually from home but are in need of a change of scenery, come work from the guest house! We have perfect cell reception, high speed internet, desks, outlets, a printer and basic office supplies. We will set it up for you before your arrival.

The best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in

This property is magical. My husband and I needed a vacation rental after we were displaced from the fires in Los Angeles and we couldn’t feel any luckier to have discovered this gem. It’s cozy and comfortable and clean and safe, and the care and pride Mimi takes in the property and her role as a host is apparent in every interaction. The property is stunning — with mountain vistas, citrus trees and a pair of wonderful cows within walking distance. This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts!

Loved our stay on the farm

This was our second time staying at the guest farmhouse and we love it each time. We love picking the fresh oranges and grapefruits. Our kids love seeing the chickens and cows and making fresh orange juice. Can’t wait for our next trip back.

Home and property were fantastic. It was a wonderful stay for family's young and old. Host was amazing, we arrived to farm fresh eggs, fresh fruit, and beautiful flowers. Property was great for walking with our kids in the orchards and to visit the chickens and cows. Wonderful stay.

Ojai cottage spectacular

This is probably the best vrbo I have stayed in. Great location, clean , very comfortable and the host was incredible. Farm fresh eggs, yogurt, milk and fresh flowers. Wonderful cottage!

Beautiful and Relaxing!

Just a really really nice trip. It was very relaxing and that is hard as we have 3 kids (4 and under). Mimi was amazing and very helpful and the kids loved meeting the animals. The house was set up great and we really enjoyed it!

Tranquil Ojai Orchard

My daughters and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Ojai. The location is perfect, far enough from town to feel immersed in nature, yet close enough to get to restaurants and stores quickly. We enjoyed many of the hiking trails along the Ventura River. Mimi is one of the best hosts we have had during our years of renting VRBO homes. Would love to stay here again.

Wonderful Experience on the Farm

We loved staying at this wonderful home in Ojai! The house is comfortable and well stocked. We absolutely loved picking oranges and grapefruits every morning. We took Mimi's advice to go to Rory's Place & Ojai Rotie for dinner. Both restaurants were excellent! We will definitely rent here again!

Awesome stay in Ojai

We had the best time staying at Mimi's place in Ojai. The home was more than spacious for our family, very clean and new furniture with such nice touches such as fresh flowers and fresh eggs from her chickens. Mimi showed us around and the kids loved being able to roam the property visiting the cows and going through the bike track. We had such a great time and Mimi was a terrific host. We can't wait to visit again!

Friend Trip

Mimi was very welcoming and had a beautiful arrangement of flowers welcoming us on our arrival day. The rooms are large and comfortable. The property is fabulous, walking through the orchard and smelling the orange blossoms was a highlight of our trip. We did a spa day at Ojai Valley Inn and spent a lot of time exploring down town. Great location that was an easy drive to everything.

A bucolic fantasy

This special farm property took our breath away- from the orange tree lined paths surrounding the house- to the mountain vistas- and star-filled skies. The host is extremely gracious and kind! Highly recommend on every level.

Wonderful Ojai orchard stay

My husband, son, and I had a magical weekend at Mimi's guest house. The spacious, charming guest house has more than enough room for a family twice our size -- and the orchard grounds are just magical for walks, exploring, and orange-picking (fresh juice!). We had a delightful visit to Buttercup the cow. Mimi and family were communicative and welcoming hosts. Just a few minutes to downtown Ojai, but location felt secluded and very private. We hope to book another stay very soon!

Early October stay

Very nice and comfortable house nestled into a citrus grove on an really nice piece of property. Far enough outside of Ojai to have a country feel but only a few minute to get into town. The property description on VRBO was accurate. A grate jumping off point for journey’s up the Maricopa Hwy. Mimi was a wonderful and attentive host. I will definitely be returning.

Amazing property

The property is awesome and fully stocked. The home was clean and came with everything you might need. Including games, extra blankets, cows to feed, orchards to walk through and even shampoo. The house was located in an idea spot it was dark and quiet at night. This was a true gem!

Amazing stay at Ojai oasis

My family and friends loved this property. We ate oranges and grapefruit from the trees every day and our host, Mimi provided us with fresh yogurt, milk and eggs from the cows and chickens. Mimi went above and beyond to make us feel at home and to help us enjoy the property. She also made sure to add little touches like fresh flowers in every room and bringing food for the kids to feed the animals every day. We will definitly be back.

Delightful stay

An enchanting spot. We took strolls each morning through the orchard, gazed out at the mountains and relaxed on the sun-filled patio, leaving us rested and rejuvenated. The home is well-equipped and filled with nice touches like fresh flowers and and a juicer to squeeze orange juice. Mimi was helpful and responsive when we needed her. Highly recommended.

It was hard to leave!

This was totally our speed. We have 4 kids ranging in ages 3-8, and it was so much fun for them. We pet the cows on the property, picked tangerines and ate right from the trees, walked around the orchards, visited an amazing park right in downtown Ojai, hiked close by and enjoyed the owl on the property that hung out by us day and night. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home in an orchard

Very peaceful. Trees and birds. Beautiful vistas from home and veggie garden. Clean, fresh and comfortable furnishings and linens, and nice patio. Great layout with well spaced bedrooms. Orchids and fresh flowers on the dining table. Enjoyable walk around the property and down the private road. delicious orange juice. Convenient to store and downtown. We hope to visit again soon.
