Our stay at Creekside Chalets was awesome. What a cute cabin. The grounds were lovely! There are paths for taking a walk and benches for sitting by the creek. We only wish we could've stayed longer!

We had an amazing stay. Our cabin was just perfect. Comfy, cozy, clean with amazing views. Our host was absolutely the best and answered any questions we had promptly. Definitely 10 out of 10 would start here again.

Creekside cabin

We lllooooovvveee this property...located close to Monarch mountain. The scenery is amazing. Hot tub is great after a cold day of skiing. Cabin is well kept and very quiet and decorated authentic. Definitely will be back!

Mt. Oxford Review

Our stay at Mt. Oxford was overall a good experience. It is in a great location, where there is a lot of options of things to do within 30 minutes or less of a drive. The chalet was in good condition and the layout was very functional for our group of 4. We enjoyed our time in Salida very much and the chalet was a nice place to come back to after a long day of fun. With all this being said, the owner of the chalets was, for lack of better words, difficult to get along with at times. If you are looking for a hot tub that you can relax in for a long while, this is not the place for you, as there is a 30 minute limit per day for the hot tubs, which came up in a interesting conversation by the owner and I after he knocked on our door. Another event with the owner was on our last day, we took our trash out prior to leaving the chalet and put it in the nearest dumpster… (thinking we were being helpful and respectful) the owner, from afar proceeded to yell at us rather aggressively, saying that it was the wrong dumpster and we couldn’t use that one. Biting our tongues, we offered to move it to the “correct” dumpster (which ended up being very far from our chalet) and he then waved us off and walk away in fury. Overall, I would recommend this place if you have little hot tub desires, and if you are going to be able to steer clear of the owner.

We are so glad you had a good experience at the chalets with your friends. The hot tubs can not keep up with four people soaking in the hot tub for hours drinking beers, it is essentially bath water for four people. Your hot tub was filthy dirty and I am so sorry you were offended by having a conversation about the excessive use and us having to spend the entire day treating the hot tub to get the water clear again. Also, we just switched garbage companies and that dumpster was no longer in use and off to the side with a giant log across the top to indicate to people to not use that dumpster but your proceeded to take the log off the top and still put your trash in the empty dumpster. These renters were very young and left the chalet in good condition but were just naive about "being helpful" and following the house rules.

Family ski trip

I was very happy with the accommodations. There were 8 1/2 of us and it was roomy, comfy, clean & warm. The owners were very nice and accommodating and communicated right away with any questions or concerns. We will be back!

Family ski trip

This property has a great location and setting in the mountains. The grounds are beautiful and great for taking your loved ones or a dog for a walk. The chalet we stayed in was just the right size and perfect for making memories. The property is close to Monarch with easy access to the highway. Big thumbs up from me.

Mother’s Day in Salida

My family and I Planned a last-minute Mother’s Day weekend getaway and couldn’t have been happier that we did! Creekside was a really well-maintained very comfortable chalet to spend two nights with two kids in. It had everything we needed including an array of things for our pup! We will definitely have a return visit!

Wonderful

This was a great rental property for a few days of skiing at Monarch for two families of four. Only about a 15 min drive to the ski hill. The house was clean, cozy, had plenty of room and a nice hot tub. The owner was very prompt and helpful when the wind blew out the pilot light for the gas woodstove. We would definitely consider renting from them again in the future.
