This one-level home in the Village of Oak Creek was built in 2020, and features an open-concept vaulted living room, dining room and kitchen. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees, this home is a perfect for rest and quiet after a day of hiking and adventure. 2-miles from a grocery store and the Village of Oak creek, the home is well appointed and ready for visitors.
Perfect location! In a neighborhood that is quiet and peaceful with a great view. Home had everything you could want or need. Super relaxing, we loved our visit!
We had the best time in this area. The views are absolutely spectacular neighborhood is super quiet the wildlife was so beautiful. Comfortable and had lots of extras in the house. We enjoyed the front and backyard the hottub was nice a few nights the stars were so incredibly clear and so pretty got some great photos. We will definitely be coming back there is so much to do and great food didnât have a bad place at all. Stay in this area and house you will definitely love everything about it.
The house was perfectâŠgreat location, clean , beautiful southwest decor and a wonderful backyard with a huge tree to sit under with our 94 year old mom
Property was located in a beautiful neighborhood just outside of town. Was the perfect location to relax in peace and quiet but be close to shopping/dining, hiking, and golfing. The backyard was our favorite spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning admiring the view before starting our dayâs adventure. Couldnât recommend this place more and hope to make it back out there in the future.
We were happy with everything about this property. The pictures and description were spot on accurate. Excellent location. And the hosts didnât think everything- they thought of everything plus some. In 25 or so years of staying at vrbos, this was hands down the best and most thoughtfully stocked one.
Pattie & John's place was absolutely wonderful. Pattie's communication was direct, clear & easy to understand and they're home had everything we needed to relax close to all the spots we wanted to visit.
Absolutely stunning area! Roomy home with everything a family needs in the kitchen! Quiet neighborhood with star gazing! Beds were super comfortable and shower water pressure is awesome!! Loved our stay!
Not only is the property more beautiful than what the pictures show, it is the perfect location being just out-of-the-way enough of the âhustle and bustleâ of downtown Sedona. In the morning, it was an easy 25 minute drive to get to Devils Bridge and the Longman (Birthing Cave) Trailheads for example. During the heaviest traffic times, it was still only 20-25 minutes to Uptown Sedona. So you have the busyness of Sedona, then an easy drive to peace & quiet, with the most amazing stargazing. The home is comfortable and decorated beautifully with all kinds of fun, knickknacks that you can actually find while shopping in Sedona. Hot tub was wonderful, and the beds super comfortable! We would stay here again in an absolute heartbeat!
Beautiful home with mountain views and spacious living was perfect for our short stay. Large rooms, smartly decorated interior and exteriors gave a comfortable, luxurious feel to the place. Star gazing from the hot tub was worth the price of admission alone.
The home was beautiful! we were very pleased with the accommodations. Pattie was very responsive to any questions and concerns that we had.
Loved the view in the back yard, including the view of the stars and the Milky Way!
My boys and I have probably stayed at a VRBO property 10 times over the last 8 years or so for vacations. All of our experiences have been good ones, and most pretty great. This one is either the best or one of the very best at least. Sedona, Grand Canyon, antelope Canyon, etc. are all amazing, and this Wild Flower Circle house is so much fun to come home too at the end of the day. The house, backyard, Jacuzzi are all really lovely and comfortable. Something that I find unique that I really liked about staying here is, the hosts donât throw away every single grocery type item (obviously, they do throw out the appropriate ones), making it so you donât have to buy every single simple thing when you get there, like coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, seasonings, etc. We were even surprised to find that when we arrived, there were seven or eight bottles of Coors bank with beer in the refrigerator waiting for us⊠there was even shaving cream, sunblock, bug spray, aloe for sunburn⊠and a lot of properties weâve stayed at, the host has the staff basically just throw every single thing away. I loved it, not having to purchase all of those things for a 5 night stay. The stargazing from the hot tub at night is spectacular too, you turn off all of the house, lights and make it as dark as possible⊠donât even have to drive out anywhere
Absolutely great place to stay. Everything you need for a superb holiday. Well stocked kitchen, super location, peaceful and quiet.
Pattie is quick to answer any questions and with suggestions. Wonderful host (hostess)!
The Hiker's Retreat is just that. A great property in a wonderful location. Far enough away from the main traffic to provide a calm and serene setting, but close enough to easily get to hiking, shopping, restaurants, Cottonwood or Flag. Of course, the kitchen is well appointed along with a grill. No need to spend the extra $$ eating out. The hot tub at the end of the day is the cherry on top. The owners are very responsive and accommodating.
My wife and i absolutely loved the home. It was easy to find and in a nice location. The view from the hot tub was spectacular. We found several hiking trails close to the home. Really looking forward to our return. Highly recommend
This place was fantastic! Huge yard with grill and fire pit and lots of little quail. Very private and quiet. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen had everything. Not far from Sedona and lots of trails.
What an amazing property! Communication with the owner was top notch! The location of the property is perfect...out of town but close enough to access everything in minutes. The view is beautiful and it is a very quiet neghborhood...we felt right at home. We will be back â„
My wife and I stayed here for (4) wonderful nights. We traveled to Sedona to catch the Perseid meteor shower and had several nights of an amazing display. The house is off the beaten path. Enough to provide complete peace, quiet and completely dark skies, but not too far from the hiking, dining or shopping. Great location to avoid the heavy traffic going in to downtown Sedona.
Exceptionally clean with a fully-stocked kitchen. Also has a large office if you need to work in between play. Highly recommend the Sedona Hiker's Retreat. We'll be visiting here again.
What a wonderful house! It was my second time staying here and it was just as amazing as the first time. All three bedrooms are comfortable and the full equipped kitchen is great. We enjoyed the backyard with its hot tub (!!!), fire pit and all the little birds and rabbits. So nice to be out in nature, and still close to everything Sedona has to offer. Pattie is always available and answers communications quickly. This is truly the best place Iâve even stayed at in Sedona.
Pattieâs home was wonderful and I would definitely try to stay there again if Iâm in the area in the future. She has great communication and has helpful advice/tips for the area. Her home is very well stocked and has anything you could need for a vacation stay, especially her kitchen which is the most fully stocked kitchen of any vacation rental Iâve stayed at. The neighborhood is scenic and in a great location for anything youâd want to do in the area.
Our group of four friends stayed for a week of State and National Park hiking. This home, located in a gorgeous neighborhood on the outskirts of Sedona, was perfect in every way. It is exceptionally clean with a large backyard, with breathtaking views from every angle. There is a considerable amount of local wildlife in the area that we enjoyed seeing on morning walks. We loved dining on the backyard patio and appreciated the well-appointed kitchen. Our only regret is that we couldnât stay longer. This is the perfect home away from home to immerse yourself in the best of Sedona and AZ.
Hiking and exploring the Sedona area is a gift to yourself.
The Wild Flower House was a great launching pad for a variety of hikes close by with easy access to some of Sedona's iconic sites as well as to other areas of Sedona. You walk out the door and are embraced by the rocks and grandeur. It is a lovely, clean, and comfortable, place to stay - quiet and peaceful after a full day. Pattie and John are great hosts - responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, with sound advice on when and where to go in the area. I highly recommend staying here.
This house was so perfect. It was so clean and comfortable. We spent a lot of time relaxing. We had been so busy on our trip, up until this point, that we were exhausted and in need of some serious down time. The house has everything you could need including a really nice hot tub.
Dealing with Pattie was easy. She was very timely in sending our check in information. She even told us when the house was ready. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get there earlier.
The view from the house was beautiful, the neighborhood was nice and felt very safe. It is about a half hour south of Sedona.
I would suggest this house to everyone.
John and Pattie live part of the year in Sedona, AZ and part of the year in Lawrence, KS. They want to share their home with others to experience the natural beauty of the area. They are avid hikers and provide maps, books and personalized hiking recommendations.
Surrounded by National Forest and adjacent to the Red Rock trail system, we love our pined canyon. House faces the majestic Lee Mountain with views of Horse Mesa.
